I recently stayed at Royal Garden Hotel in London, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My room was beautiful, with a stunning view, which made my stay even more enjoyable. However, the worst part of my stay was the loss of my second phone, which I use for work. I had placed it in the safety deposit box, but when I checked out, I couldn’t find it there. I searched every part of the room but had no luck finding it. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. While the hotel offers a great experience in terms of cleanliness, service, and ambiance, this unfortunate incident left a negative impact on my stay.

The hotel has two problems. The first problem is insulation, and the entire second floor smells like cooking and washing. Your clothes all smell of onions. It is best to stay away from the first three floors. The second problem is that the bed is frankly extremely uncomfortable As for the service, they are very excellent, frankly, and the location is good

Impeccable service, we had booked the car park before hand and our car wouldn’t fit. Panic hit! The concierge arranged for valet parking and we were checked in and given our room keys two hours early! They had arranged an amazing surprise for our daughters 7th birthday of balloons in the room two teddy bears and a chocolate cake! With a lovey gift for us of a bottle of champagne.We have stayed at many hotels but the attention to service here has never been matched. Great room on the 10th floor with a beautiful view, cleaned and presented to perfection

Do not stay here. They criminally double charged me, admitted to it and still are holding my money. After staying there they charged me for all room charges which is perfectly normal!…but then a week later they charged me AGAIN and had no excuse other than “yeah we like to do that sometimes” and they are still holding on to the double charge even though they confirmed they received the payment in full the first time. The woman I spoke to try and clarify what was happening was very rude. So now legal is taking a look into this and many others that this location has been double charging. Also, their site says they have a spa which is a lie. They do not and when we brought it up to them the staff very rudely said “our site doesn’t say that” so we showed it to them and they responded by saying “oh well whatever”. False advertising and double charges is the truth behind this location.

Very convenient location, with great views over Kensington Gardens. Lots of bars, restaurants, shops, and museums within easy reach. RGH has a fantastic Chinese restaurant on the top floor; min jiang is one of the best restaurants in London. The dining experience is smart but friendly in an elegant environment, which isn't oppressive.

I stayed there on January 14-17 at a price of 828 pounds for a Garden deluxe room with a 150 pound refundable guarantee on the card. The room is a good size, the bathroom is without a bidet. The staff and service are excellent 🙏🏻 The hotel is clean and quiet, and the garden view opens the mind😍 They offer breakfast in the rooms, but I did not try it because most of the options are not halal.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we booked the same room (Garden Deluxe Twin Room, Booking No: 20418544). However, this time, the room had a very unpleasant odor. I informed the receptionist, and they promised to send someone to check the room. Four hours later, the issue was still unresolved. I couldn’t open the window to ventilate the room because it was secured with screws and silicone. When I asked them to unlock it, they refused, claiming it might fall on the guests below. Staying in a smelly and unsafe room is unacceptable, especially at a 5-star hotel. I requested a room change, but they said they could only transfer me the next morning. After arriving tired from the airport, I ended up staying in the room until midnight without a solution. Frustrated, I had to check out and search for another place to sleep at such a late hour. To make matters worse, when I informed them that I no longer wished to stay and accept the smelly room, they refused to send a porter to help with my luggage. We had to carry our bags ourselves. Additionally, when I raised my concerns with their sales representative—the same person who reserved the room for me—he dismissively said, “You’re not the only guest complaining about the smell.” Also, I am still waiting for my refund. I hope the hotel can do the process quickly.

We had an amazing anniversary celebration at the Royal Garden Hotel and it was such an beautiful experience. The staff were super kind and helpful, everyone was very welcoming and friendly. On arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, flowers and a little cake to wish us happy anniversary which made our stay extra special. We had a beautiful room with the most stunning view of Kensington gardens. ! It was spacious and luxurious. The location was perfect and there is so much to do around. We also had dinner at their restaurant Origin Kensington which was absolutely incredible, the food was delicious and to a high standard and the atmosphere was lovely and festive. I would 100% recommend this hotel and we can’t wait to go back there! Thanks for an amazing experience. 5* !

I booked a room for parents here for 5 nights. My parents were a bit unwell at the time so it was very important they were looked after and didn’t regret their visit to London. Initially there was big confusion with the type of room we had booked, which later was put down to a new staff member. Later after 2 days the situation was rectified. The front desk staff particularly a polish man I can’t recall his name really helped to make this a memorable stay for my parents. They were truly looked after all the time. I loved it, I feel like they understood me and did exactly what I asked for after the initial hiccup. They even booked tables for breakfast because my parents were unable to queue.. The level of customer service and views are the two factors that really stand this hotel out in London.

Whoever decided on the paint scheme for the rear restaurant, don't know what planet they were on, I think it's terracotta. The lounge area needs to be warmer, needs to have more enclosures with more comfortable seating arrangement. The car park is horrific and the gym is terrible. Other than that, it's okay.

First of all as a guest and any hotel wants to be treated fairly as any other guests they asked me for a deposit for 500 pounds in cash for five nights why they took from my friend only 100 pound deposit and the confusion happen even in the checkout they gave me let out till 1 pm why did they give him till 3 !! Their lack of professionalism and poor manners only exacerbated the negative experience. Additionally, the parking space at the hotel was subpar. We stayed as 3 people, my wife and son, 5 days ago. It was better than my expectations. The employees are friendly and helpful. I liked the breakfast very much. It is said to be either open buffet or a la carte. The varieties were quite sufficient. But I liked the location the most. The breakfast room is right next to Hydepark. The view is superb. Our room was facing the street, not the park. However, the street view and silence were very good. The upper floor of the hotel was great. There is a Chinese restaurant. We went there without knowing much, we were very pleased. I added the hotel to my list. I will choose the same hotel again when I come next time.

It is a very convenient hotel, there is a bus stop right in front of it, there is underground 3 minutes away. close to the centre. Since it is on the edge of Hyde Park, there is a nice walking route. we can say that it is equal distance to many popular places. Many hotels in the area have larger square metre rooms, so we were very pleased. As a family with children, we would easily prefer it again.

Had a late check in at 11pm and was not greeted in a friendly face. A young man with blonde hair was particularly ill mannered. Not sure why they required passport ID but mentioned the owners were quite particular about ID. Luckily an older lady intervened and helped fulfil my request of late check out and helped. The room itself was underwhelming and cramped but clean. The next day, concierge were great help and the check out was easy. Doormen were great in helping load the suitcases into the taxi.

I want to express my immense gratitude to the team for their approach to every customer. Unfortunately, I’m not very familiar with Italian cuisine. I ordered the Pork Belly, and it turned out that the dish just wasn’t for me. That said, I’m sure many others would absolutely enjoy it—I’d probably even recommend trying it. But personally, it just wasn’t to my taste. The team, including the manager, kindly offered to replace the dish with something else. I’m incredibly thankful for that. It’s such a pleasure to experience this kind of service as a customer. Once again, huge thanks to the team for their outstanding customer service. This is probably the only place in London where I’ve encountered such truly genuine customer care.

Very expensive food, for a very small portion size, and of little flavour. I never write reviews like this, but the end product was so poor. £13.80 for a small dish, and one bread - which is deemed to be a XL size. Not offered some sources. Was pushed a bread with chicken (thinking this was part of the XL dish), only for it to be taken away from me. Terrible service. Cannot understand what is included in smaller size dishes, given the small amount in a XL dish.

We ate wonderful food in this nice little restaurant. The truth is that we have limited knowledge of Indian cuisine, but that was no obstacle because the friendly staff were extremely helpful and asked about preferences and allergies in order to guide us. We actually ended up eating a 3-course menu and everything was tasty and exciting, while at the same time we felt safely guided through the whole experience. Honestly, I will come again when I visit London another time. Both for the food, for the service, but also because the atmosphere and calm around the restaurant is so wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
