Popped in a few days ago to have bite to eat with a friend. We had chicken curry with roti which was freshly cooked and tasted great. You could really taste the flavour, the spices in the curry, they weren't over powering just right. The roti was also freshly cooked, you cannot beat freshly made piping hot roti with a curry. We had fries on the side. All in all it was a very tasty meal. The staff were very friendly as always. I would recommend you try this place if you haven't. The best part is they have an open kitchen so you can watch your food being cooked from scratch. Very clean and tidy, there is a toilet and sink to wash your hands at the rear of the seating area. Royal fast foods is just right, a meal for two persons will cost you less than £20. Why bother going to these flashy restaurants where your charged £30 plus per person for a bit of flashy China and table cloths.

Don't order from here. Total waste of time. Ordered on uber eats and waited half an hour. I then called then and they made an excuse about machine being broken. Had to cancel. Absolutely pathetic. Don't ever order from these lovers if you want to actually eat food.

If you ask no spicy the will give you , I like buy there a Nun always fresh and good .

Top pick for traditional indian curries. This place works hard to ensure that their deliveries arrive on time. Great bunch of lads serving traditional desi food. 👌A must for all traditional curry lovers!

Charging £1 per chappati, it’s £1 for 3 everywhere else avoid.

Really disappointed with portion of Mix grill which cost £23 and threw it in a box all over very messy presentation . Recommended by someone but not worth it at all. Not going again to this shop

My food was cold and called in after a whole hour and they said my food was on the way (in a rude manner) so I waited another hour and it's still not here... the place is literally 15 mins away from my house.

Good food and good service, it's a fast service but v tight sitting space, quite few even late at night, I think ty opened till morning 4, I think prices are affordable, seikh kebab good but chicken wings taste rubbish, pizzas are really good

Staff is amazing I orderd chicken tikka biryani (and it's the best biryani I eat in derby till now) and chicken fillet burger meal and it was both yum and fresh. Definitely do visit again. Highly recommended to everyone

Food didn't even arrive. Called an hour after ordered to be told it was leaving the shop at that time and it would be with us in 15 mins. Called again 20 mins later to chase up to be told it was just leaving the shop. When i challenged them about having said the exact same thing 20 mins prior they told me they would not be delivering it and they would cancel the order as they claimed they did not deliver to the postcode we were at (even after saying it was just about to be delivered... twice). They then hung up on me. When i called back they were very aggressive and cancelled the order. Appalling service and if their food was on the same level as their customer service, i'm glad they cancelled the order.

The owner of this shop still has their other store (saifs grill) open on delivery platforms. They use this as a way to get money but not deliver food to people. Don’t order from saifs grill as you will not receive your order and don’t order from here as they con people out of money with their other store.

The portion size shocked me somewhat. More than ample. I had the lamb patak. Again I've never seen so much meat content. At other places it's bulked with cheap ingredients. Here it is all meat and sauce.. I have had my share of curries but this was far superior,in my opinion, to any before. I would be more than happy to travel the 22 miles to eat there.. Highly recommended.

Food never arrived claimed it was collected at a door that had no one home and then tell me there is nothing they can do not even a partial refund and looking at these reviews I’m glad it didn’t arrive

Sorry I always ordered from this takeaway and food is very oili and that's I have to give my hubby's if he's sick 😫 this takeaways always was for me best but in past 3 months is really food in low condition grill chicken burger and you give it with tikka chicken do your job better or don't do anyways food with out taste cold or missing salad or different prepared than paying for I'm sorry but always samething here is missing.

Very simple order Shish Kebab no salad & Chilly sauce and a small Margerita Pizza so I could get it delivered. I can afford to miss a meal or two, but not eaten anything for 40 hours due to work. I had ordered Kebabs from them two week earlier for me and my son and they were absolute perfection, Even providing salad and dips in a seperate bag just incase. I cant have onions or Cucumber due to a moderate allergy and it helps I cant stand the taste. They use the same cutting surfaces to prepare vegitables as many rstraunts do. How ever those who are allergic or simply dislike the smell or taste can't have it on their food. I make my own Mint Yoguart sauce, and prepare the vegatables for the meal my self. I called the restraunt as the drive drove off to call it in and the guy said, "the young guy put it on but picked it all off" i said no he hasn't and said I was allergic and he said they would prepare me a new one. 70 mins and nothing has arrived. requested a refund from Just eat and only offered me a refund on the kebab and no the pizza I won't eat. Also annoys me is that after the last kebabs I left them a glowing review. Seeing this more and more these days, Epic food to MEH food in one order. Its easy to hard to win a customer but MEH food or service will loose you them in a heart beat.

Ordered mutliple times, quality was rubbish, u can tell the food was seriously old, tasted like something a 5 year old would make and to top it all off the staff/ owners cant speak a lick of proper english or even have the decency to conduct a normal conversation without being rude

Terrible Disgusting Outrageous. If there was a minus star I would have given that. Ordered on their own website waited full 45mins as stated on the website and then gave a bit more time. Rang after 1hr had passed to be told the order had been cancelled - person at Royal said the website has old menu. I said you had my number you should have called.... Keep away there are better places nearby I edited this review after noticing how many similar complaints have been posted already of this kind of behaviour from this place. IN SHOCK.. we orded a large sheesh kebab with salad and given this sparce unedible item. We counted x6 pieces of meat no salad just onions.... when I phoned to explain it, they hung up on me before I could finish.

Ordered food before closing on ubereats. They accepted the order but did NOT DELIVER at all they did not pick up the phone or give any response and i waited all night for the delivery. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Ordered my food and sat waiting for 2 and a half hours and nothing. Called them 16 times to no answer and then closed Canceled my order and got to wait 10 days for a refund. Will never be ordering from them again. Disgusting.

Ordered food through just eat, the food never showed up. Called the restaurant twice staff rude and unhelpful. Couldn’t care less attitude. One of the worst when it comes to deliveries. They delayed delivery almost always. They would deliberately not answer the phone as the same number would go as busy tone just mins before.

Absolutely useless. Rude and kept hanging up phone when trying to resolve. Avoid. Thought we'd try them again a few weeks later, we ordered before 1900, it's now nearly 2100 and we haven't received the food, we've rang up twice and they said 10 mins initially, rang again 30 mins later and said same thing, and then hung up too! All the reviews on here are fake, they're rude and awful service. Avoid!!!

Waited over 2 hours for food, rang back to provide contact number for delivery driver, was told the driver had my details. still no food…. rang over the phone than just eat for better service, proved to be worse.

The food is just brilliant.Each food item is delicious.I would recommend there tawa and lamb Karachi.The staff is friendly and have great customer service skills.The place has nice seating area.The parking is bit of an issue but u can park the car in side street.All in all its a nice place to eat.well recommended.

They cook delicious and fresh food. No competition in whole derby in serving good quality Indian food.

Curries are Desi (Authentic) as mum would cook them so it's on point. Overall very good food and service only suggestion I would make is to wrap kebabs with more paper as sometimes is cold by the time I get home.

Enjoy the lamb and chicken curry everytime. But left disappointed this time. Shown is the kebab we got served recently. Was so dry and tasteless. Just oil. Not nice to look at even. Also missed an item off our order (doner meat in a naan). When I requested for a breakdown/receipt of what I'm getting charged - I was handed a takeaway menu and told I should work it out myself.. people pay these guys good money not just for food but customers service. Which they seem to lack.

Vibrant place...great service....food is on point and the cup of tea tasted like I was back at home. Recommend for the tea and the kebabs are great at a good price too.

Don't go to this place for customer service because it scores a 0 in that field. I went to this place a couple of months back the food was revolting. Somtimes the food can be okay but it is very rare. Also, note you will need to order 2 of the same items to make the portion full size.

Was great and the food was great until they started auto cancelling my orders because some mentally incapacitated driver they had screwed up delivering to me ONCE (I was literally inches away from the guy's car TWICE and he drove off before I could knock on his window), and they had to recook me food because of this). Ever since then they have refused to deliver to me with no real or justifiable reason, disgusting to say the least, in fact quite pathetic, I would avoid at all costs.

Peri peri chicken was tasteless with no sign of peri peri sauce. Doner was on the dry side and lack of sauces made it hard to eat.

Dont order from this takeaway food came was fold so i complained to.just eat.tonight i had the delivery driver in a white estate car bamging of my door when i went to the window of my sons room he moticed me and took a picture of me.i have spoke to the takeaway and they are refusing to delete the picture the takeaway avted like didnt no the driver did it even said the car so i knew was the same person.i have 4 kids in my house and to come banging of my door at half o at night and wake my kids up is unacceptable.also reported this behavior to just eat and will advertise on facebook to.it is illegal to take pictures of people with out consent and in there own.property all because reported a 16pound ordwr was cold.i have also.reprted this to the police and as he drove past police station he will be on cameras.so i warn people do not use this takeaway because they will.try intimidate u.

Been here twice this month food is delicious and without doubt the best in Normanton. Portion sizes are rat sized and food can be pricey so I always order 2 donners or tikkas for myself to make it full size. Would have given it 5 stars but customers service is dead! Grumpy freshies working at till.

Would give it zero stars but won't allow it. Ordered as said was open to 3.15am. Ordered about 1.15am. Order confirmed by restaurant for 2.10am delivery. Then 2am today's its closed and they won't answer phone. Happy to take money. Wont use again.

Loved the curry until I red a report that they scored 1 of 5 in the hygiene. They found pest droppings and cobwebs also dirty clothes and raw food next to ready to eat 🤮 Deffo not coming back there again

Bad service they took 1 hour and they charge £2 for delivery charge for half a mile delivery of £15, roti wasn,t properly cooked and curry was cold.

Made a phone order for collection, ordered x2 spicy veg pizzas along with extra topping of chicken tikka and pineapple.. was charged £16.50 when i got the food the pizza was full of sweet corn i mean flooded with it, loads of green peppers and mushrooms 😖when i called back to tell them they made me pizzas that I didn’t ask for, the phone 📞 kept being past from piller to post! 3 men came on the phone to tell me i was wrong and that the pizzas was made as requested! 😡😡 I finally hung up! Whatever happened to customer service 🤷🏻‍♀️
