Delizia Pizza Takeaway in Derby

Not for the first time Delia have got my order wrong on a collection. Salad and sauces left of kebabs and burgers.. they've done thus before on s collection and you don't know till you get home. I won't order from there again.

The best chips from a takeway I've ever had. Chicken strips were amazing. We also had a kofte kebab wrap, all freshly cooked food. Great service, first time we visited, and we will be back!

Had a delivery and apart from quick delivery there's nothing much else good to say. Driver turned up being rude and swearing at my partner, claiming to have rang multiple times. This was a lie. The food unfortunately went in the bin. The pizza was not cooked properly and was soggy. The kebab came lathered in chilli sauce and the chips where barely cooked. I paid £23 and the food ended up in the bin. If you haven't tried this place, then definitely don't bother.

My rating is purely based on the Donner & Chips. The Donner is banging, nice and meaty, very enjoyable. They also do a good range of sauce for a kebab and good salad & nan.

this used to be a good takeaway waited nearly 2 hours for delivery and food wasn't even hot

I ordered for the kids today 24th November 24 at 17:30 the pizza and chips arrive at 18.40 they just sent a margarita whilst we other chicken tikka then rang them and they said they want the old pizza back and they sent the correct pizza after multiple calls at 19.40 absolutely horrendous service and the person answering the phones was rude. The delivery driver said it was the owner himself mooda (farooq) who made it wrong surely should have sent fresh chips as well and taken these ones back as they went soggy by the time the right pizza came

Second time they have delivered and left it on the door step without knocking or calling and food is freezing cold. Won’t be using them again

Stingy portions and rude staff. Avoid at all costs

Rubbish customer service! Go to Mama Mia's instead. These guys charge and humiliate customers over a tub of mayonnaise. Been ordering and going to them for a while. On their own turn when they forget to give customers items they expect the customers to let them off. Don't let these guys have a penny extra of your money. The food is terrible.

I used to be a regular customer here and some of the staff used to give me two sauces for free. Today I did a phone order and went inside to collect my pizza I asked the guy to give me two sauces and he said we only normally give one. He wasn't even giving me one first. Derby is dead for food. I definitely don't recommend eating from derby.

The chicken breast strips are some of the best I've had. Partner got the chicken tikki pizza, which I was leary about until we ate it. Good food, good price, good people. We get a late night nibble from them every time we are in Derby.

Dreadful, driver telling me how far he had to come, telling me I gave the wrong post code yet I'd given the address through the app. Staff at the takeaway telling me I need to look after the driver..chips soggy and un season.. & kebab, tasteless. Simply dreadful.

The food was not of the quality as normal the fries were not fresh tastes like they were made yesterday they over the sauce on the kebab but overall not impressed. I expected a lot better

Food was only just warm again, fed up of being the last drop, when asking the driver why he was late he told me he’d driven 8 mile to Shardlow and then back 8 miles to me, pathetic

Everything was was lovely except the chicken nearly every mouthfull all I got was chopped up bone, so I won't be having that kebab again, I also paid & asked for extra salad witch I didn't get ,so I was a little disappointed tonight

Have been going into this special place for a while now & I'd say never had special food with good hygiene & wuality of staff approach is brilliant Would always recommend regardless

10/10 HALAL pizza. Honestly worth trying if you like thick crust pizza. Order vegetable pizza with chicken. If you don’t want it too spicy ask for it to be mild. Best pizza ever. Also tastes amazing when you have it as left over the next day. We have been getting it for years and it never fails to impress.

Think its acceptable to write on a pot of gravy and mash ( no mash sorry) and charge £2.99 for gravy

Great food always made to order and fresh and tasty

Good quality food from DISCO MO and the team. Staff all have beards but no beard nets. If you like hair with your kebabs these bearded assasins are on hand to deliver.

Lovely food, all very hot and delivered on time

Disappointed. This was our favourite pizza place and we used to look forward to it, however the last couple of times the order has been missing something or the pizza hasn’t been cooked properly. This evening the first order was missing a topping so they remade it (have to say this was without hesitation or anything. I can’t fault them on their shop service). When I got home the remade item was missing another topping and the middle of the pizza wasn’t cooked properly. Sad to say we’ll be finding another pizza place in future which is a real shame as we used to really enjoy their food.

I came here because some youtube idiot with yellow teeth called the Food Governor promoted a product called the Food Governor special box and the staff member didnt have a clue what I was talking about. Eventually ordered a pizza and kebab. Substandard food so dont bother with any Food Governor recommendations. Colin from Plymouth

Both kebabs arrived cold spoke to restaurant they were nice on phone agreed to send another two kebabs and those arrived over an hour later after i called and both cold aswell.

Food was cold , chips were all soggy and the donner was cold so we're the chicken wings.

I ordered Last night to which this restaurant then proceeded to call me saying they at unable to deliver so I asked for a refund which they replied with this is a just eat issue you need to contact them for a refund which I have but no reply yet and instead of cancelling the order it says the order was delivered

Not been to this place in years as I do not work in Derby anymore, was staying close by and we decided to go for a pizza this place was known to be the best place in Derby for pizza, so went here and it did not disappoint, the food was delicious as ever and the service was good as well, they made a mistake with the order and forgot to give me my garlic bread, one phone call and they delivered 2 garlic breads for us at the hotel, absolute top service, thanks again and well done guys, sorry about the eaten pics I remembered to take one at the end

Ordered a Kebab, these donuts don't know the difference between tikka and shish sent the wrong kebab. Phoned said they replace the kebab but was concerned they may send me a battered fish or something. Absolute mongols.

Food was absolutely disgusting. Ordered 2 pizzas. One desi special one cheese and tomato for kids. Pizza was completely tastless and the pizza was not even cooked. Absolutely a rip off, when we called up and complain as usual same old typical service guy made out he couldn't speak English pathetic and disgusting food. Rather go to somewhere like mama Mia or zaza pizza. I remember going in here a few years ago with my mate, tall fat young guy with glasses charged us £36 for a pizza and 2 kebabs and we paid it, when I questioned him he was like no it's right, pulled the menu out and after a short discussion he said oh sorry I made a mistake and over charged us by £6. Absolute clown service. Will never order from here again . All apneh care about is money.
