Recently moved into the area and so glad that this is my local chippy. 5 star hygiene rating which is rare in Leigh but honestly the best chippy in the town. Chicken burgers from there are awesome. Can't fault the staff either. Friendly and courteous every time. Food was top notch too. Definitely will return again and recommend you guys do too.

Best in Leigh by a mile. Everything is fresh and tastes wonderful. Excellent value for money. Menu is extremely varied. The staff are friendly and the service is always with a smile. Last but definitely not least, Carl, the owner is such a lovely man. Even though he is always busy he will always greet you with a beaming smile and chat with you, nothing is too much trouble for him and his staff. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

I visit the chip shop every time I visit family. I live down south and refuse to pay the prices. I love rawlins it is 100% the best. Highly recommended

This is my regular chippy, I hardly go anywhere else for a chippy tea. I've never had a complaint, the food is excellent, portions are just right, and the owner is lovely. Highly recommend this chip shop, you won't regret it.

Top notch. We were at nearby Pennington flash and needed to pick up some fish and chips on the way home. There are lots of chippies in Leigh and we picked this one at random. What a find! Very friendly service. Superb food. They change the oil everyday. The food is so fresh. The prices are very cheap. I wish all chippies were this good. I can’t compare it to other places in the area but I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else after this first visit. Outstanding.

Rang to place an order and asked for onion rings the owner said sorry we haven’t got any. Only for my partner to come back with a tray full. The owner had made onion rings just because I rang up and asked for them. Honestly over the moon that he had gone out of his way and made them instead of sticking to his original answer! Now that’s customer service!! Never had a problem with this chippy and now it’s my favourite!! Thankyou so much. It’s a Pregnancy craving so made my night even better!!!

cannot praise this chippy enogh fish is amazing its prime white cod and the batter is light almost a tempura not like batter in other places where its thick and doughy the chips are just how i like them squidgy without being greasy highly recommended as the go to place for fish and chips and not forgetting excellent mushy peas

A superb plate of freshly cooked to order fish chips and peas for our tea on Friday. We enjoyed every mouthful . Absolutely delicious. Thank you.Will be back for certain.

omg could not get another mouthful in had large fish and chips with curry and it is out of this world everything is fresh all burgers fish and anything that norm is frozen not in this chippy the owner carl even showed me and my mum his produce he uses to prove that its fresh amd you cam certanly taste the diffrenece amazing chippy xxxx

Been waiting what feels like forever for a decent chippy to open in that spot, as many have tried and failed! The chips are so crispy and fresh, portion size is great too, as well as the price! They are always so friendly, you can tell they love what they do and pride themselves on using locally sourced fresh ingredients, absolutely brilliant! I will not go anywhere else to get chips now as nowhere else compares!

Called with my wife earlierShe had fish and chipsI had a spam fritter.Both were extremely tasty.The owner takes great pride in his cooking and his business.His two lady staff are a scream and have a great banter with the owner and customers.Seems a great place of work.The staff appear to enjoy working there.To summariseGreat friendly local chippie.Nothing's too much trouble.Ten out of ten.
