Bought a large Cornish pasty yesterday to eat later. When I started to eat it I realised that all the veg was half cooked. I'll be returning today to get a replacement. This is not the first time I've been unhappy with the quality. The usual problem is that the pastry is too thick. Usually the pasties are good quality.

Mum and I went to Rowe's and had a lovely corniche pasty, I had a large cappuccino with mine. There was only one server there, Dolcie, who was most helpful. The seating and tables are good, we sat looking out of the window watching the workd go by(and the rain falling) I think these are some of the best pasties on the Broadway. There are about 4 outlets now.

Awful service.Awful quality. A big deal for us today (10th Sept). Going out for lunch with a wheelchair user for the 1st time in ages. Woman who worked there was quite frankly, enough to put anyone off. Pasties were at best warm. Could only taste turnip and pepper. Disappointed compared with Saltash Rowes.

On 2 separate occasions arrived just after 3pm to be told that they close at 4pm and have stopped serving hot drinks. Not impressed.

Enjoyable coffee and cake, while in the area. We sat at one of the few tables provided. It seems it gets quite busy at lunchtime so fortunate to get a seat at all.

Disgraceful sign in doorway re masks stating that those with exemptions are not allowed in and must stand outside to be served. This is complete discrimination. My elderly father was very upset to discover that I had to stand outside. "Branded" because of my learning disability. We left and spent our money elsewhere.

Well, not quite New York's Broadway, but Plymstock's rather soulless, uninspiring, and still rather 20th-century shopping precinct! For a good number of years, I have always bought my pasties from a shop on the other side of the Broadway. One week I planned to do this recently, and found they'd shut for a week. So I went to Rowe's, and tried their equivalent sizes. Well, in my opinion, they were considerably better than the other ones, and cheaper, and there is also a Loyalty Card system where you get free items after sufficient points have been accumulated. It's also a cafe, whereas the other place is a butcher's, and the staff are lovely and cheerful, and most helpful! They're not bland like the other ones, because I suspect more seasoning is used - not harmful salt, though. Someone commented on the size of the crust but, as we all know, this was what the Cornish miners used as a 'handle' to enable them to eat their pasty while on the job down the mine. I didn't find the crust too hard, or unmanageable in any respect. Even if that were the case, I would counter this by saying that Rowe's pasties are physically bigger, at each size, so proportionately they all have less crust than most other suppliers! I would sum up by saying that Rowe's largest steak pasties are 'andsome, me luvva', or, translated into Cornish, 'proper job'!

Best of the bunch in this shopping precinct. Good selection of hot and cold food and reasonably priced.

Always met with a smile when entering this establishment . I buy many pasty’s to take back up to a community’s boaters on the Grand Union Canal . It’s now the norm for me to get orders every time I come home to Plymouth. And they love 💗 them , better than warrens they tell me !

Situated in soulless underused Plymstock Broadway 1960s shopping precinct, where there is also a big Warrens and a Costa, it’s a wonder that there is apparently enough trade to keep, them all going. Rowe’s is perhaps the most personal and traditional of these three chains. I don’t like venturing much beyond the basic beef and potato pasty combination or occasionally a cheese and onion. My disappointment with the Rowe’s pasty here and elsewhere is the bulk of the twisted crimp closure which is much too a high a proportion of the overall pasty. I always break mine off and in some shops ask the server to trim it off at the point of sale.

Customer service moderate, normally good service however on this occasion did not feel welcoming. Feel as though as time has passed the cleanliness has severely dropped in this store. Not much seating as the upstairs area is always closed. Use to get vouchers in the post which would make my time and money worth while as the vouchers used to be discounts so good for family lunch however they have stopped them for some reason… be a good touch to bring them back to bring back the returning customers. Salad needs to be fresher also.

I went to grab a burger and this staff was so shocking bad and rude, There was this woman need emely who was doing the burgers and as I was watching her cook she looked at me and spat onto the patty before putting the cheese on it, Then you had this irish man who was cooking the chips and handing out orders, First thing he said to me was he didn't like how I looked and kept shouting at me and then when handing the food over he said here fatty, Then we get onto the woman taking orders, Her name is lex, I parked next to the bins and notices she was bin dipping looking for the tomatoes she had just thrown out, once she found them and came back inside she looked at me and said ew next and called me ugly without even taking my order, Then the person who took my order was a lovely young bloke called jonathan.

Recommendation to people that are obsessed with a hole tub of salt, the teenager at the till looks like he hasn’t showered in a month, it was more hotboxed than a hippys house and the hygiene was making me feel sick.
