Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Plymouth

I have never had Popeyes before until today And my first thought is it’s banging There’s nothing wrong with it. The fries were absolutely lovely so was the chicken wings and tenders. and most definitely the Oreo milkshake is really good as well. It helps when you get spicy tenders and your mouth is hot and the milkshake is very tasty And the staff are very polite and the waiting times weren’t long I Don’t think it’s expensive either and Everything has a nice vibe to it. I definitely recommend coming here.

The food was lovely.too busy though with nowhere to sit so ended up stood up as cold outside.Was a hassle getting the food because the receipts had run out on the order machine so I didn't get an order number. Would go again but when quieter

Walaaeldin was very kind to me and his kindness made my whole day better, he does his job with a smile and that’s something I rarely see while getting food anywhere in Plymouth. It is my first time trying Popeyes and I will absolutely be coming back !!! Thank you for the amazing experience Walaaedin!

I don't know why people rave so much about this place, but I suspect that they were asked to give a positive review in exchange of discount (some even write that they were approached by staff to give positive review). The first impression is good, but I quickly realised how filthy it is. Trash is everywhere and nobody cleans. Both bon stations were overfilling with rubbish and trays, yet staff were interested. Two seats were damaged and milkshakes were stored next to a garbage bin! It's expensive for fried chicken but I decided to give it a go. Waiting time was nearly 20 minutes (screen showing orders was empty) and staff were either not interested or clueless, but after chasing I got my meal and oh boy, how unpleasant it was. I tried a burger with chips and hot chicken wings. It's understandable that it's hot, which I love, but it's so salty, it's unbearable. Consistency of the chicken and the burger was actually good. Chicken was tender and juicy inside and crispy outside, but this was killed by the amount of salt used. It's a fast food chain so I should expect msg (and I like it). I get that, but spices feel like containing 80 of salt and some Cajun seasoning. I'm surprised as feedback is mainly positive and this food is not just expensive, but also unpleasant to eat.

Late more than 2 hours as before and keep delaying giving an impression order is being prepared but actually when I called the restaurant there was no one available to pick it up. I am deleting my app after this message and no more orders from now onwards. Bye Bye.

McDonald's is good but here is better. Come here instead

Not very consistent first time I ordered was nice, tonight dry horrible chicken dry cold chips. If I want chicken again I’m going kfc

I adore their cajun fries and am so greatful that they are halal as it means i am able to enjoy a delicious takeaway every now and then. Got served by Nick today and he was very lovely and friendly:)

i ordered the classic saving wrap with fries and biscoff and it was suberp and so delicious🤤 it was in a deal (3 for £5), very worth and fulling for me (i have small appetite). would recommend to try it if youre a snack! crews are very nice and friendly!

The food was good, but one of the waiters kept coming to my table and asking that I give her a Google review. She came up to me three times. First when I took the first bite out of my burger, the second when I was halfway through, and the third when I was almost done. Three times to ask me for a Google review within 10 minutes!!! I get it… you want a Google review. So here’s my honest review: food was okay. Service was very bad because you kept interrupting my meal.

First visit, chicken pieces. Bigger portions than the Colonel's and just as tasty. They were offering a bacon roll, hash brown and a coffee for £1.99. A bargain feast fit for a Google guide. I have visited a few times now even when busy, service is pretty quick.

Popeyes is the best fried chicken place, period. Their fried chicken sandwiches are second to none. This location is busy at weekends and could be cleaner, the the food is excellent nonetheless! If you've never tried it, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

delivery rider went to wrong address at 1st as didn't read address properly. multiple times happening now. riders need to learn streets B4 delivery

Order with milkshakes without attached straws

I don't know what the other reviews are complaining about - mine arrived hot and on time, very nice and filled me up. The only slight compliant I have is the fact that no straw got delivered with my milkshake, HOWEVER it's not a major fault, as I have a glass straw at home. Overall, really tasty and had no faults. Will order from them again.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to praise Connor, a young man working here. He greeted me with a warm smile, made sure my order was perfect, and treated me with genuine kindness. It’s rare to find someone so young with such great work ethic. Connor is a credit to this Popeyes, and I hope they appreciate him. He really made my day.

My second time here, food was amazing, the kids loved it. A worked called Connor helped us out and made our day.

Yooo just went to Popeyes and it was the best! First of all, the food was fire. The chicken was crispy, spicy, and just perfect. But the real shoutout goes to this guy named Connor who works there. He was so nice! Like, he made sure everything was good, checked on our order, and he was super fast too. I think he’s the best worker there. Popeyes should totally give him a raise or something! If you go to Popeyes, make sure you ask for Connor, because he makes the whole experience even better! 🔥🔥🥶💸💯

delivery driver wouldn't walk up to my flat to delivery so I had to walk to the car park and collect my food. the food was wasn't hot and the milkshake melted. plus came with no straw

We ordered and it said it would take 15-30 mins at 13:08, and it arrived 14:15.

6 chicken pieces contained 2 wings. It's a bit of a rip off and not acceptable. If I'd wanted wings I'd have ordered them.

Day light robbery. We ordered LARGE chips at £4.95. They arrived the size of small McDonald’s, all the food was cold the restaurant do not answer phone.

Great food and taste. I've ordered numerous take outs from here.unfortunately when you order a 3 peice meal you end up with 2 bits of chicken and 1 chicken wing ever time. I seem to never get an answer as to why??I've paid for 3 bits of chicken.... I haven't paid for 2 bits of chicken and a wing.....

Truly some of the best food in city centre, very clean and tidy and one of the employees, Connor was very helpful and kind, will definitely be returning soon!

I really like the flavour you get in popeyes even if it's busy you never have a long wait for your food and is a good alternative to kfc as it's fairly price comparable, but I'd say avoid the spicy chicken as it isn't spicy really and maybe a bit bland compared to there original chicken which is lovely.

I specifically requested in a note I didn’t want the large pieces of chicken. When I received the order 3 out of 6 were large pieces. I am so disappointed. I have gone in the store and asked and they provided my request. I was not able to eat the large pieces which went in the bin. Very disappointed and will not order Popeyes with just eat again.

Good delivery time but food was cold - chips very cold - and a hot wing was substituted for one of the chicken pieces which was a bit of a con.

I haven’t tried popeyes before but worker ‘Connor’ was incredibly helpful in suggesting items of choice and I very much enjoyed the food. His positive attitude was electric and made the atmosphere much more welcoming will definitely come again.

I'm hard of hearing and a member of staff called connor was very helpful with my order. The chicken was also lovely, a lot better than I've had in KFC.

chips were cold and a part of the order was missing. Had a very unhappy 8 year old who was looking forward to his chicken tenders and they didn't arrive. luckily he had Mac and cheese but still not happy.

From my side is BIG NO because the food has a strange smell the chiken smells like lamb and the fries are very oily and has a dirty texture as a reviewer of many locals and many places I'll say to the future tourists or peps to not order food....even your belly will say its not good food!!! Cheers!!!

We decided to go to Popeyes as it was really quiet in there and we were hungry. Well what a joke, the staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves and looked like they couldn’t be bothered to even be working. We waited half an hour for our food, one member of staff spent ten minutes opening and closing a Popeyes box with our food in it obviously just to try and look busy! Once we got our food it was cold. They forgot part of our order too. Absolutely shocking customer service. Please please re-train your staff or find ones who want to work for a living not spend their time gossiping and laughing with each other whilst customers are sat/stood waiting for their food speechless at their sheer ignorance and audacity.
