Route 50 in Glasgow City

I've been in plenty of time's the staff are very friendly we ordered 2 breakfasts and 4 coffee's and it only came to 20.00 odds some places charge that for one. The food was lovely I can honestly say 10 out of 10 and I love going there.

If your looking for a quiet place too eat , this is the place . Yes, here goes the toilets are clean and fresh 😄

4 breakfasts not brought at the same time when the place was empty. Some bacon over cooked, some under & my daughter's waffle was mouldy. Won't be back.

Very slow being served. Needs redecorated inside.

Ordered to sit in and me and my daughter got salt n chilli chicken with fries it was disgusting only thing ate was the fries would not eat the food from here ever again the chicken had black and stringy bits in them and the chicken had been deep fried it was horrible they offered my daughter a free drink she got a milkshake and the glass was dirty inside will not b bk there horrible I've actually been sick won't b bk there again

Had my daughters communion here on Saturday, cant thank the staff enough. Everything was perfect! Buffett was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Drove by looks lovely so went back and had a wee light lunch, was ok for £7 BUT £10 for 4 cans of coke AND may I add they were from a Multipack 😡 Called and spoke to a manager and was told. Awwww am sorry about that the next time your in I will give you a drink on the house😂😂 Told her i wouldn't be back and I will be contacting Trading Standers. Shocking absolutely shocking 🤬🤬

I don't often do a review, but last time in here I realised we haven't had a bad meal there yet. And we've been 4/5 times. The burgers are phenomenal, the atmosphere is inviting and the staff are absolutely amazing. Really tentative and welcoming. One of the servers had toothache and still battled through serving with a smile and talking away to my wee one that was asking about her nails. My daughter is already asking to go back for chips and ice cream. Couldn't recommend Route 50 enough.

Food not up to standard for anyone in our group of 14 we had a range of food from fish, chilli burgers,spicy chicken wraps, hot chilli wings hot spicy noodles,chicken overcooked and not a taste of spice on anything even the macaroni was tasteless, I wouldn't recommend this diner to anyone 🥺👎

Family friendly, relaxed, good service and good food

Had a very nice breakfast here and our day was made better being served by Ginger (Sarah) who was very attentive (while getting on with her work) and joining in with our royal banter. Excellent service. And thank you for feeding the corgis!!! 😂From the Queens, Chris & May 😂

Great service food OK. we were in for breakfast full Scottish it was I would say Ok nothing wrong with it just presentation on the plate, edible but not brilliant. The price was comenserate though so fair enough. I would/will happily go back knowing I'll get or affordable edible breakfast.

Went to a party. Although very busy.The bar staff done a great job. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the Malt whiskeys.

Really enjoyed this, have never noticed it before. Staff were lovely and very good with all the kids. We got a real family friendly feel from the place and would definitely good.

Went here with my son to have breakfast on Saturday morning, we hadn't been in for such along time. The place still has its cozy and Welcoming feel to it. Our waitress was lovely. I would definitely Recommend visiting here the breakfast was Great and we added a side of mushrooms and beans. The owners who I remember we're always talking to their customers and had a friendly approach, well the owners were there and said Hello which was nice.

Celebrated our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary within the function suite here last weekend, which consisted of a sit down meal for over 60 guests. The food and service were excellent and the room was made up beautifully. We had an absolutely fabulous time and we would therefore highly recommend here for any event you might be planning.

Place nearly pitch black, no manager to turn on aircon on hottest day of the year, warmer inside than out. Very limited menu. Staff friendly

Pass here alot but never been in...we did today and enjoyed our meals.Everything was hot and tasty. Only complaint would be larger fajita accompaniments. Would also say the the place could do with a wee freshen up inside. Lovely waitress aswel 👍

A great family run American style diner which has freshly made meals at competitive prices. Very friendly and accommodating for individual needs. A gem in the East of Glasgow well worth a visit and you will be enticed back, without hesitation!

Was really nice atmosphere sitting out side allso the saff where really headover heels for us anf food was really quick and really tasty

Was the best experience really was we sat putdoors they put the songs on for us really did feel like a was on my holidays ,and to top that off the food was absolutely to die for really couldnt recommend a better place to feel at ease and such good service all round

It was a private function I believe, with a buffet thrown in too. I waited for the line to go down to go get food, unfortunately there was little to none left. It just wasn't my cup of tea but the staff were helpful and friendly and got rid of the bar queue very efficiently

Total shambles, double booked, buffet a disgrace, curry sauce was so thinned down ,it was like gravy, hardly any chicken. Won't be back and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Went in for a breakfast orderd 3 grand slams 10 pounds each sat for 5/10 minutes got the food witch was quick 👌 looks baning started to eat it and it was cold and not nice at all then to top it off some ones going about the place spraying the tables down with raw beech when you trying to eat differently not work the cash or your time definitely better off at the springcroft

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice clean surroundings and attentive staff. However it had a change of menu and I preferred the old menu.

Love Route 50. They hosted my uncles Funeral in November and couldn't have been any nicer. Was a great send off. Have been back several times for lunch and dinner. Can't fault it!! The food is great, the owners are very friendly and the staff couldn't be nicer. Great place for a meal. They have a beautiful ice cream parlour too. Will keep going back. Thank you Route 50. X x

Ordered a just eat to be told the driver couldn't find my adress which was a lie as no one phoned me to ask the adress went on to just eat and they changed from. Delivery to collection only so no driver there in the first place never again

An absolute treat. Went for a comedy show & the friendliness of management & staff was amazing. A friendly vibe & customers were fantastic. Especially Hilda...a SUPERSTAR ⭐⭐⭐ Throughly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Staff friendly, fast service, place was clean and food was really good. Only bad thing I'd say was there wasn't much choice but what we did have was really nice and I would go back again. Plus was only £30 so can't complain 😊

Don't go the food was terrible. Very few choices I got the fish and it wasn't fresh it was frozen. Tiny portions and no desserts on the menu. Scores out of 10 I'd give it a 1.

Visited a few times now with my dad who has dementia. Staff go above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and nothing is too much trouble...even reheating his meal cause he eats very slowly ... great food and reasonably priced .

Went there for lunch yesterday the menu was very limited fish /chicken or burgers one of us had fish and found a hair in their meal the toilets were dirty with no handwashing gel will not be back

Had my daughters funeral here,cold soup tea was cold sandwiches and sausages rolls very poor value for money terrible wouldn't recomend it bad 😥

Would not recommend this place. Got chilli dawg and dirty fries mac and no CHEESE and kids meal cost me nearly 28 quid never again. Supposed to be supporting local businesses but sorry if that the quality then no chance.

Food was lovely. And the staff are a lovely bunch I think it is family run always listen to you and staff are always well mannered. Love coming here lovely atmosphere. Also kaldis and rout 50 are the same place. It is a bit confusing.

Food was cold asked for no tomato on burger clearly never read my comments 60oz burger b lucky if there was 50oz in it payed for a bottle of coke n got gave a can n the cans of irn bru are miltipack some nick ask for Mac n cheese think thy forgot the cheese would never eat out here again
