Rossi's in West Dunbartonshire

Ordered a special fish supper which comes with salad and mayo. It was delivered in 20 minutes. Was very sceptical especially with quick delivery time. Fish was gorgeous and not dripping in grease like most chippys. Will definitely order from here again and very good value for money

The chips were burnt (couldn't crunch them n i have teeth.) Fish was like rubber.... Was disgusting and was charged £19:45 for fish supper and handburger supper. Never will i order from here again, at my house or my mums. I do not recommend or will ever recommend ordering from here.

I have trouble finding descent fish and chips in Scotland. That is until I visited here. Good chips but especially good well cooked haddock. Nice crispy batter. The owner works his butt off. Good conversation whilst waiting. Pizza's are very good as well. I come here every time I am visiting Scotland.

Fast food outlet. A traditional fish and chip shop, pizza, kebabs and curries all available for take away and home delivery. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Plenty of parking adjacent to the shop.

Wife order 3 chips cheese and Donna and a sausage supper tonight..... my food was not worth eating because I have salt Allergie and the sausage supper was covered init , I really think they should have better options when ordering food instead of what's there to go with the food !!! So yes thanks for my bag of salt with my food !!! If eat that I could have ended up in hospital or even dead thanks 😊👍🏼.

Waited over an hour seemed more interested in getting the delivery's out, food was just ok but wouldn't rush back .looked dirty in the shop, raw fish lying out uncovered ,workers aprons dirty.

Food was disgusting pakoras where microwaved the kebabe was rubber and the slushie tasted like dish soap dont waste your money

Mixed emotions about writing this review, I ordered my meal on line which gave me a discount so meal deal was £11.50 but with the discount became £10.50. I choose to pick up the meal myself, I could not cancel or change my order. After 5 minutes I got an email saying my order had been placed but waiting confirmation. I drove down to Rossi to get my food only to find that he had cancelled my order because he couldn't do at that price, I was told that if I wanted the same order it would be £16.00. Big jump from £10.50. The owner explained to me all the difficulty he was having with all the prices going up utilities etc and I totally understand that but not fair to advertise one price on line then expect to pay more when I got to the take away 25 minutes after my order had been placed. He decided to cancel it, if I'd had paid by card I would have had to wait 5 days for the money to be returned back into my account, I did get my food order and was charged £14.00 which in these times is still good value, next time I will phone direct.

Not bad timing but pizza not cooked all wet and soggy in the middle, tried to pick the slices up and ended up with no ingredients on it cause it all fell off in a slop 🙄 off to the shop for a frozen one.

Margherita pizza tasted so strong if garlic!! Chips were awful curry sauce very watery never again

Just ordered the worse dinner ever. Even the dog never ate it. Haggis pakora was burned to a crisp. Chicken kebab was swimming with grease. Onions were burnt. Sorry but won’t be back.

My other half placed an order for ourselves and kids via app, a little while later no acceptance from the restaurant but the money was taken so we called. They hadn't even checked orders from the app and whilst on the phone cancelled the order because they hadn't put their prices up online. So we're now almost £30 down just because they decided it was a few quid less than they would like!. If we hadn't called they probably wouldn't have accepted and ignored the order whilst our kids sat waiting 🙄 you don't get the change prices with an order whilst talking to the customer lol not our problem if you haven't updated your menu. We ordered and paid, you didn't provide just because you didn't update your prices.....

Said 5-10 min wait for fish and it was 25 mins…no apology, or acknowledgment, nothing whilst I stood and waited and not one other customer was in the shop. They then proceeded to charge me extra for it. Stunning customer service…NOT. Won’t be back.

Horrific service!! First time vis Lomondeats and never again! £23.95 4 items and waited nearly 2 hours!!!

Order from here plenty of times and they have always been helpful and chatty even during busy times and the food has always been great.

Used Just Eat for the first time. Delivery time and Driver excellent Fish and Batter very nice indeed, only complaint was the chips which were to say the least not very good Seemed to be reheats and small crunchy bits all through the portion. Will maybe try again next week in case the poor chips were a one off

One of the worst in the area and the staff and owner attitude stinks as bad as the shop and for his brothers shop londis in old bonhill stay away from there as well out of date food on the shelf’s

Shambles of a place. Food greasy, chips look boggin and taste the same. Fish looks like it's been put through a mangle. King rub, more like king sponge. Full of grease and probably left overs from day before reheated in the oil. Disgusting! Took it back and was offered something else, like what exactly, everything looks boggin. Ordered a burger and fries, 1hr 40mins and it was cold, also missing can of juice. Delivery driver needs to retire.

Waited 2 hours for wrong order to be delivered and food stone cold, I usually enjoy food from here but am disgusted with todays experience

Pizzas are really good and the meal deals are great value for money.

I ordered a baked potato with cheese and salad. Waited an hour and a half. The potat was stone cold. Cheese crusted to tge sides if the container. The salad was warmer than the potato! I

When I come to visit my daughter, on the first night we always have Fish and Chips. I used to use Rossi on many occasions when Hilda was the fryer and then Marcin, so if anyone looks back the years you know how long I am talking about. Anyway on this occasion Friday 10th December just gone my daughter said she would order and we waited and waited over an hour for the delivery and to be brutally honest when it arrived I was totally disappointed. The Fish and Chips were barely warm and I have to say the meal was probably the worst I have ever had on any of my visits, so to the owners I suggest sending less orders out with your delivery drivers and make sure the food is piping hot, I am not going to say anymore apart from the disappointment left a bad taste in my mouth and that’s why you got one star Chris

If I could rate yous zero stars I would... I get you're under staffed, I work in a restaurant that is also understaffed, but do you know what we do? We stop taking orders before we get to the point that people are waiting over 2 hours for their food. I ordered at 2050 and now its 2300 and still no sign of it. After phoning well over 20 times, you answer and say its not in the shop? Where is it? How long is it going to take? Not even an apology (which is the first thing I say when I think somebody's food has taken too long) Honestly the worse experience ever. Even now, I'm still phoning and I'm guessing you've turned your phone off as it's after 11pm. My order isn't even a big order! 2 cooked items! Get yer finger oot rossis

Have order food at 7:09 and it's still not here 2 hours later not very happy with it tryed calling line busy it shouldn't have been busy for a whole hour phone more than 10 time and still no answer didn't even deserve the star it was givin

My wife Helen got me a ' whatever looks good ...or ready' supper from Rossi's tonight.. Awesome choice of Cajun Battered Fish Supper.. I have to admit ..it's relatively difficult to impress me, however unfortunately her choice, made in good faith, turned out to be my new 'wait till it's ready' choice. 110% recommendation. 👍👍👍

Ordered from Just Eat at 17.20 told order would be 18.45 at latest.Its now 19.41 and still not here,phoned Rossi's 15 times phone either ringing out or engaged tone.Abosuletely shocking customer service.

I cannot remember the last time I had a chippy tasting so excellent. Special fish supper with salad. Like any other place a special fish is a wee bit dearer but it is totally worth every penny. Could have been a bit quicker at cooking it. Phoned the order at 5.15.got told it would be 25 minutes. Arrived at 5.35. Got my order at 5.50. Did it really take 40 minutes to make? That's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Liked it but the battery was quite thick and I'd prefer it a bit thinner

Just had the nicest King Rib supper from here. Great portion of chips, really fresh. Reasonable length of time for delivery and we'll worth the money. Will definitely order from you again. Thank you so much

Usually lovely food but the waiting time is totally shocking. Never on time for delivery but now even take away is ridiculous waiting times.

The best chicken tikka chasni in the shire staff are great only let down is the home delivery wait times other than that a good chippie

Placed an order waited over a hour for the food when it arrived they forgot items ,also the food was cold.When I spoke to the manager about my complaint he was unwilling to compromise with a discount or refund ,my advice to all is DO NOT order from this food outlet ......disappointed!!!

My dad had 2 fish suppers delivered they were inedible and frozen had to throw them in the bin its a disgrace my dad pensioner of 83

Absolute disgrace of a place phoned at 6pm for delivery and waited an hour still no food , was told it had left the shop at 6.55pm. 7.25pm comes and still no delivery so phone back to say we’re concerned if it’s left at 6.55pm it will be cold by the time it gets here to be told ‘well you’ll just need to wait and see if it is then phone us if there’s a problem ‘. So finally 8pm comes I phone again for the man to tell us no it’s just left , explained to him the woman had told us it left at 7pm and he says well I can only apologise but it’s only just left the shop .... 2 hours waiting on food to be messed around and then told ‘just tell the delivery driver when he comes’ so had to turn away the driver at the door instead of them just phoning him. Never phoning here again it used to be an amazing place and yet it’s went right down hill.

Great chippie, always go if I'm in the area & hungry. Proper chippie with kebabs & stuff too.
