Food was very disappointing, Pork and chorizo burger was very bland and dry. Wait staff were nice enough but were standing around whilst there were a couple of rounds of glasses on the table.

Menu is small with very limited choice for vegetarians or vegans. We ended up here as everywhere else was packed. Kids menu is written really badly and is confusing for adults, nevermind kids. Ordered the kids pizza, which came as 3 tiny frozen pizza bites, 2 barely cooked and one burnt. This was served with stone cold beans. Adults had burgers, chips were cold, chicken burger was tough, bun was soggy and the coleslaw was swimming in water. There was a long wait for this substandard food and everyone aroud us also seemed disappointed. The wait staff were all very friendly and nice. I feel bad for them working here as it must be embarrassing. It's a shame because the building is lovely and I was here for lunch with a friend in April and it was fantastic. Varied, but simple menu and delicious food. Sadly won't be back now.

Staff were abrupt and not pleasant, one of them was coughing and sneezing at the bar and another kept repeatedly bouncing a ping pong ball. Two different customers sent food back, one of which said the prawns she ordered were bad, then to our shock in the doorway to the back we heard one of the members of staff swore and shushed another member of staff saying there are customers just there, referring to us as we were the only ones left. We paid for our drinks and cancelled our food order, due to the above and length of time we were already waiting.

It is a pretty large place with a historical significance to the town. We stopped here first for lunch and then kept coming back during our stay in Inverness. The food and the selections were decent and the vibe of the place is a pub that also has live music and TVs to watch football.

We went for lunch with the dogs while visiting Inverness and were really taken with the place. A dog friendly restaurant / bar / cafe, lovely relaxing atmosphere with some cracking food! Definitely try the stovies (filling portion and really homely) and the pesto chicken baguette was really tasty too. The chefs are brilliant and timely and the staff on the front are so friendly and professional too. Well worth a visit! Thanks for making our visit a great one xxx

Lovely meal, great service and brilliant live music. The place has recently been refurbished to a high standard. A great corner of Inverness with a few other nice bars close by…,The Phoenix, Blackfriars and Macgregors, all worth a visit. The food at the Foundry was enjoyed by all in my group, I had the glazed salmon which was delicious.

We ate here last night, 2/11. We believe this is a temporary venue for this fabulous restaurant whilst their other premises are being renovated. We were warmly greeted and seated in a busy restaurant that had a warm and friendly feel. All the food sounded delicious especially the specials. Of the three of us I was the only one to have a starter - the hot smoked salmon tart - delicious! Crisp pastry, tasty hot smoked salmon and rich veloute. My dad the venison which was rich and soft - melt in your mouth tenderness. Whilst my husband a generous portion of seafood pasta - it was tasty, hot and very fresh - he said it was amazing. I had the monkfish special - loin wrapped in Parma ham with scallops. Again delicious! Service was the right mix of friendly and competent. A lovely restaurant serving very delicious food. We will visit again if we are up in Fort William.
