Rose Kebab in Tendring

Terrible, the worst halep kebab I have ever had and the most expensive. It’s supposed to come in a specially prepared tomato sauce which is usually thick, rich and tangy with the odd slice of mushroom and green pepper. What little sauce there was in this one was watered down tasteless tomato which turned the sliced pitta to mush in the bottom of the tray, no extras just watered down tomato, the meat wasn’t very nice either, thin, narrow strips. Horrible. Rip off. Won’t be going back.

I normally order kebabs and they are very good .asked for half half pizza and before I could request sides got an immediate no .said I normally have kebab from you fell on deaf ears Will never buy from them again The woman I normally deal with is exceptional So maybe just a language barrier

Lovely take out from Rose Kebab. Always deliver on time, always fresh, healthy options & always delicious. We have eaten here several times & never had a bad meal. Lovely local take out.

I thought kebabs were supposed to be healthy. Just placed an order and my kebab was swimming in grease. So gross I didn’t even want to give it to my dog. Won’t buy anything from there again

By the smell of it, you can tell. They make delicious kebabs and burgers. And their pizzas are wonderful. It's a complete food hub in the entire area of Frinton, Walton and Kirby and feeds a family all-year around. It's worth it, and they're worth theuir money. They know what they're doing.

We placed an order online. Got a “thank you for ordering” message on the screen. The money was taken. No food. Called them to ask about it and were told they hadn’t received an order from us. I explained the money had been taken from my bank and was told “this also happened about a week ago as well. You just have to wait until the money is refunded or order again”. I’ve contacted the bank who will investigate. The money has definitely been taken. Thanks Rose. We’ve been left without dinner and no money to get any tonight as payday is tomorrow. We’ve used you for years as ordering online was convenient but we won’t be now.

I've ordered from here a few times, but its going downhill. My latest doner wrap had 5, yes I counted them, 5 small pieces of cubed lamb in it! So £1 a piece! The pizzas are the thick based, frozen type. The guys in the shop a reasonably friendly, and there are 2 tables you can sit at. Its not a nice, sit down restaurant though. Just a take-away/delivery type place. If you go in store, its cash only! The lamb and chicken shish are cooked fresh on their grill and the garlic mushrooms were good. If you do order from here, phone them. Their online booking system doesn't account for special deals and adds a delivery charge- even when it shouldn't!

My family Use rose kebab regularly. Great food, great service and great staff. Highly recommended.....

Only place open late in the area. Fancied a cheeky kebab and chose a special lamb kebab. Plenty of tender lamb with fresh salad.

A great selection of freshly cooked goodies on offer at reasonable prices. The chips are soooo good! Particularly loved the Chicken Wrap with salad & sweet Chillie sauce. (it's hot, but lovely!) One wrap would easily do for two if not big eaters.
