Rose in Vale Country House Hotel in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

A fabulous venue if staying in Cornwall. Great location near St Agnes, with modern decor, good furnishings and wonderful breakfast. Offers a good base for motorcycle touring groups and Paul and his wife are most welcoming hosts. Safe parking too.

We spent a couple nights in Rose in Vale during our Cornwall trip. Booked almost blindly, so were absolutely delighted to find such a wonderful place. It's a lovely and tranquil country hotel with comfotable rooms, a great breakfast and a very nice and helpful team. Thanks for the great stay!

Spent two nights here to extend a holiday in Cornwall. The room was spacious with a decent en-suite bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is in a part of Cornwall we have visited before, and much like, and the hotel is well placed for exploring the area. Whilst dining in was not available, there is a very good pub within walking distance.

We had a wonderful holiday at this lovely hotel in a quiet peaceful setting, close to the coast at St Agnes. Excellent base for exploring this area of Cornwall Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were excellent and rooms and all public areas immaculate and decorated to a high standard. We highly recommend this hotel .

This is a clean & comfortable hotel with friendly staff who were lovely but I'm not sure what qualifies it to be 4 star. The attention to detail was missing with average provisions & muddled decor & 6 types of different light fittings in different styles in the restaurant (downlighters, wall lights, pendant lights, Moroccon lanterns & some strange fittings giving off red or blue light). The windows flooded the room with natural light so we didn't see the need for so much artificial light. If you want clean & friendly deep in the heart of the Cornish countryside for a peaceful nights sleep, the Rose in Vale can deliver but somewhat over priced.
