Rosa's Thai Cafe in Wandsworth

Tuvimos suerte de conseguir un ‘walk-in’ y nos dijeron que podíamos tener la mesa durante 90 minutos. ¡Más que suficiente! Ofrecen comida para llevar y supongo que eso creó un poco de presión en la cocina, tanto los entrantes como el plato principal tomaron un tiempo y se sirvieron con una disculpa, que no era necesaria. El lugar estaba rebotando y el ambiente era genial, así que el tiempo pasó volando! La comida era de primera categoría, hemos estado aquí antes, así que fue agradable ver que sus estándares no habían bajado. Los entrantes mixtos eran fantásticos, así como la red, Pollo Arroz y Pollo Frito Arroz. El personal se puso de pie rápidamente, pero no les impidió sonreír y proporcionar un servicio de primera. ¡Máximas notas!

The experience was on the whole fairly average, both in terms service and food - much better Thai options in the area. The restaurant also had a strange drain smell.

Great service, really friendly. Better staff then before here - they have become friendlier and more attentive. Prices reasonable. Authentic and delicious restaurant - recommend!!

An absolute disaster of service from start to finish. Staff walked away as we were ordering, ignored us, were rude. Staff who did not understand allergen issues. The manager apologised and said a specific member of staff was on a trial shift that wasn't working out. The actual food was nice when it arrived. Late. You cannot treat people like this. It was comical.

Amazing food and good drinks, especially the lychee ginger spritz. Our server Ann was very friendly and made the dinner perfect.

Rosa’s Drunken Noodles are phenomenal. This branch was cosy and quiet - perfect for my meal. Lawrence was attentive and friendly. He provided good service throughout my meal. Thank you so much! 10/10!

The food was actually quite nice, but the waiting time are ridiculous, and the server was very rude when we asked her about our food.

Take away delivered from Deliveroo of which I had had many. Both meals were clearly cooked with pre-cooked meat. Quite usual for "British Indian" curries, but weird with Thai. Meat was breaking up in the green curry (literally "pulled chicken") and in the stir fry the chicken was oddly dark and soft - cooked chicken absorbing colour in a way fresh raw chicken doesn't. What was delivered although tasting fine, resembled a post Christmas Thai curry made with left over roast meat. That's not what you pay a premium for. The coconut milk in the green curry was very also very thin. The spring rolls were burnt and devoid of flavour, with a watered down sweet chilli sauce. Cutting corners?... difficult to tell. Won't be ordering from here until they revert to the normal way of cooking such food. Shame, I've been ordering lovely food from here for ages.

Came here recently with friends for dinner. We were seated and attended to quickly. Staff were very friendly, and served us fairly quickly. The food tasted great and came in decent sized portions, all for a reasonable price. Overall, a positive experience, very happy with our experience!

Really helpful staff and very friendly vibe. Food was nice. Don’t go for the crab rice - it was dry and boring (just saved by a fried egg side). I enjoyed my starter and other food looked good.

The food and service was excellent. Great choices on the menu and a fantastic service. The portions were a good size for lunch and the range of drinks complimented the food well.

Place was almost empty when we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon but was greeted with a grumpy receptionist who seemed think that finding us a table was a major issue. Was left at table while staff busied themselves rearranging bar and filling fridges. When politely asked if we we could order was told to wait. Menu was ok but no fish dishes. Drinks were expensive £5.25 for a small can of Chang. 175ml wine 5.95-7.95. The 1/2 jar of Thai lemonade my partner was served was pitiful at £3.50 Food, suprised we were not given/offered any crackers. curry without rice £14.95. Food was ok although my side of fried noodles were cold and the advertised egg amounted to a few flecks stirpred into the dish. Service improved with the addition of a couple of staff during the meal. Our waitress was fine. So left very underwhelmed. May have caught them on a bad day but not one I would recommend.

Rosa’s Cafe is a chain which has expanded beyond its Pimlico base all around London and even to Manchester. Perhaps inevitable it would land a branch in Battersea’s Northcote Road which was fairly heaving even fairly early on a Tuesday evening. There were a few additions to the menu including popcorn prawn which comprised some tasty fried morsels with a piquant sauce yet not terribly good value at £8.50. Duck curry by contrast featured a generous number of slices of duck albeit in a rather watery sauce but with some refreshing pineapple. Chicken pad Thai was a tad oily. Fried rice was a generous portion.

From start to finish this was one of the worst takeaway meals I have ever eaten. The portions were disappointingly small ... three tiny spring rolls for £7 (what was I thinking, well more for sure...) the rice portion barely filled my plate, the green king prawn curry, and its waterly, soupy sauce, was packed high with chilies (far too many), a few stringy vegetables ...but just six king prawns ... and sadly filled with some kind of purple vegetables that was both bitter and tough ... Definitely not one to recommend. Should have nipped to M&S instead ... there is always a next time ...

Dry, tasteless and tiny portions. Not going again! Staff give a tiny portion of mostly rice with little bit of curry - which was dry and terrible. When we complained they said "meat is expensive" so that's all we give. Awful.
