Fabulous meal last night. Two course Christmas menu - perfect Brie starter and turkey main. Table of 12 all served piping hot with a variety of dishes. Restaurant very comfortable and very clean, lovely interior design.. Great atmosphere. Would highly recommend 🎄💫❤️

Absolutely a lovely experience at the Rosa we had this afternoon. The restaurant was lovely and warm to have our meal. The food was excellent, we chose from the Christmas menu we had the turkey, other options were available on the Christmas menu. The chef certainly knows how to cook, excellent food, and outstanding. The service from Ryan (manager) was exceptional Friendly, he knows his job very well, nothing at all was to much trouble. Served vegetables were all fresh. The price £14.95 excellent value on hot plates

Amazing service from Ryan, and faultless food. The new December festive menu was great, we had a turkey dinner and they happily switched out the gravy for Diane sauce which was very much enjoyed! Would definitely recommend.

Over 2 hours late - absolutely ridiculous! The delivery time kept getting pushed back later and later. Ruined our night.

great food, good spot for a working lunch

I only dropped a star as there was an issue with my booking. My family had been before and highly recommended this restaurant. We got there and the poor employee took us upstairs, where a male member of staff was quite rude to her, then we were taken back downstairs and outside, round to another area. It was busy and the chairs were in the way of the waiting staff, so we couldnt have relaxed there. Then, another member of staff said they couldn't find our booking, so I showed him my confirmation email. He said there was no record of the booking, so while I was still showing my email, he said I'd only booked for 2 people. I again, twice showed my email stating the booking for 5 people. He then made a comment on us choosing to walk round to sit in this area. I explained we'd been led all over the place, not by our choice. I understand that systems can have issues, but it's how they're dealt with that matters and his attitude was unacceptable. Luckily the rest of the staff, especially our main waitress, were amazing and so were the food and drinks.

I ordered 2 pizza for my children and on the menu said pizza with chips but I never received the chips .

Not good if you don’t like Italian. I ordered the salmon and it was served with a little broccoli. No other veg. My husband and daughter had the lasagna and couldn’t eat it. All in all an expensive night out. Worst restaurant I have been to in a long time

Wow! Don't know where to start this place is by far the best me and the Mrs have been to! We will be back again and again!!! Just perfection.

Worst carbonara in the history of carbonara. Chef seems to have a phobia of salt and flavour. Overcooked spaghetti with bland flavourless cream.

Absolutely loved our visit. We were looked after like royalty by Ryan and the staff who were all lovely. The food was stunning, plentiful and every one of us enjoyed our chosen dishes (so compliments to the chef as well!!). Our party were accommodated at late notice, the communication was easy and the personal touch exceptional. Its just fab to visit a busy restsurant where all the staff are on the ball. Want to eat there every week !!!! WELL DONE TEAM ROSA🙂

We were gifted a bottomless brunch for our birthdays which we enjoyed very much. The food was all delicious and the prosecco was easy to drink and plentiful. We were attentively served by Lila, Jane/y/t and Evie who were very friendly.

We booked very last minute for the midweek special. The meal and service were excellent from start to finish. Ryan went above and beyond to accommodate us. We really enjoyed it and will be back soon!

We visited for a sunday lunch and it was one of the best we've had in a long time. The portion size was generous without being too overwhelming, the roasties, yorkshire pud and veg were all cooked beautifully, it had a large portion of beef and there was lots of gravy on offer too. The service was superb, all the staff were very friendly and welcome.

Made a last minute decision to go out for my evening meal, so pleased I chose to go to Rosa, the food was amazing and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming, I look forward to coming back again.

Had a delicious birthday dinner. The food was delicious! The staff were lovely!

Upon entering Rosa, with a confirmed booking for 6 people (4 children) on time, we were shown to the left hand side of the entrance to a waiting area, no one offered drinks or asked of any needs. The table was then being set to the right of the entrance door (cold), not set prior and we was the only ones in that part of the building ordering food though there was a couple having a drink adjacent. We requested could we move upstairs due to the draft and seating with children (couch) was not ideal. This was rudely rejected by the front of house. Upon ordering food, we ordered 3 courses each. The starters came without any real issues tho on request of salt and pepper this didn't arrive despite asking on arrival of both starters and mains. The mains then arrived in which we were very disappointed, firstly the beef was pre sliced and warmed, looked and tasted like a pre packed bedf from Tesco. Also we ordered 3 chicken roasts for the children as this was the only option on the menu but cane with beef and on request of chicken, the FoH argued we stated beef for them too which was incorrect. You did offer one replacement of chicken (meat only requested) this arrived some 15 mins later once all other meals were finished. It took some 20 mins for the table to cleared and though the deserts was nice we asked for the bill twice before receiving. On the whole a very poor experience considering only 2 months ago we had a very different experience.

Food was collected on time. Followed the driver on the map who clearly had another deliver to another town before delivering my order. Driver delivered my order with no thermal delivery bag. Food was cold and not edible.

The food was excellent however I ordered a bottle of wine prior to the mains but when we started our main meal I had to remind the waitress about our drinks, later someone else asked what we ordered, as we nearly finished our meal we cancelled the bottle and just ordered 2 glasses of wine. Some time later we finished our meal and drinks arrived, however we cancelled the drinks paid and left.

Had a lovely birthday meal at Rosa tonight and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Emily B went above and beyond to make our experience extra special and is a credit to you.

Excellent meals and service, pizzas where quite big with 3 of our group bring theirs home.

DELIVERY REVIEW: Foods good compared to other delivery options. Becoming pot luck if your order is accepted by the restaurant via ubereats. Also very limited delivery menu. I don’t understand the logic of turning away custom by cancelling an order bcoz the place is quiet?

1. Firstly want to give a huge thank you to ‘Ellie’ (one of the young ladies who was working this evening) who was extremely attentive and really helpful when we had a sudden first aid emergency with our nan. Ellie deserves a lot of extra credit for how she reacted and attended to us and the situation - she was brilliant. Please show her some credit if management check these. All staff were attentive and were happy to drop everything to help us out (including the chef coming out) - really impressed with the first aid service. Thank you. 2. Apart from this - unfortunately we were waiting a long time for food, and some was cold when it came. 3. Staff also need to talk to each other as we were being asked the same questions repeatedly by different staff members!! 4. Food overall taste was lovely - a shame we were losing patience with waiting! Appreciate it was a busy night, thank you again to all staff and Ellie for first aid support this evening.

A mix up with our table meant it took a while to be seated but the staff solved the issue sensitively and efficiently. Once seated we had a fabulous time. The food was excellent, the service was great and the cocktails went down far too easily! A lovely atmosphere and our new favourite restaurant!

Visited this restaurant for a birthday meal the food was absolutely brilliant. Service was good. Will definitely be returning here again. My friend also enjoyed his Whiskeys Frankie was brilliant ⭐️

Sitted quickly but waited 20 mins for staff to come for drinks order. Starters came out swiftly , asked for water for the table…still waiting for it to arrive. Waited 45 mins for mains , had to ask for steak knives , had to ask for a drinks order . No one came to check to check everything was ok, steak was chewy . When food was served we weren’t served individually but expected to pass plates to each person rather than the server serving each person . Had to ask for dessert menu & then had to ask for cutlery to eat desert with. Witnessed member of staff drop cutlery on the floor to then pick it up & put it with the cutlery already in her hand. As a 1st visit not impressed at all .Music so loud you had to shout to be heard.

Really average food. Overcooked chicken. Overcooked prawns. Meatball starter was good.

Very slow service. Waiting on drinks for about 20mins. Ordered more drinks which they forgot to bring out, had to remind them. Was sat at the table for about 30 mins with empty plates before I had to ask them to take them away and have a desert menu. Trying to get there attention for the bill was hard work so we had to get up and go to them to pay at the till. Food was just above average service really let’s the place down.

Fast delivery. Tasty food. Portion to cost ratio on the lasagne needs to be changed though, on opening it my first though was "Where is the rest" only half filled container. Tiramisu was lovely and container full. £50 total order, felt more like £35

food was very flavoursome and good quality but only got 3 meatballs and no bread which comes with the dish I also ordered rice balls at the best part of £10 and only got 3 of them a bit of a rip off won't be going again if I was in the restaurant I would of said something

The warning signs were evident when Rosa required us to pre-order five days in advance for my birthday dinner. Visiting from Melbourne and looking forward to dining with our UK family, we chose Rosa for its 4.5-star rating and appealing photos of rose garlands. Our group consisted of 11 people, including two vegetarians and a 4-year-old. Although the starters took an exceptionally long time to arrive, the terrific cocktails kept everyone content. However, when our main courses were finally served, the vegetarian gnocchi was burnt. We sent it back, but it returned with merely fresh melted cheese on top while remaining inedible. Management explained that the gnocchi was batch-cooked in the morning and reheated just before serving. They claimed our delay caused the issue, although we were not late; the delay was due to the starters taking 45 minutes to arrive. Another vegetarian dish, the cannelloni, was also too dry to be eaten. Some of the wait staff were genuinely apologetic and tried to improve our experience, but the manager's approach to customer service needs improvement. Initially, our group was seated separately in a configuration of five and six, allegedly to facilitate easier service. When we pushed the tables together to sit as a family, management arrived and curtly instructed us to separate them again. Despite this, we maintained our seating arrangement. On a positive note, the steak and fish dishes were well-prepared and freshly cooked, and the cocktails were excellent. Despite the challenges, we managed to enjoy our evening.

What a gorgeous restaurant inside and out, I love all the rose plants on the walls and over walkways. The restaurant is bright and clean and all the staff were very nice. We only went for a pizza and calzone but both were outstanding, really well made and tasted amazing. I can't wait to come back and try something else off the menu next time I'm working in the area.

Came today for bottomless brunch with a group of friends and we had an amazing time. Lovely food and great cocktails. I think we each had 5 cocktails in our 90minutes, which I felt was good value for good quality cocktails! Shoutout to Eliza, Lyla and the rest of the team for their great service!

Went tonight ordered starters nice wanted beef strongenoff with chips said comes with rice or tagliatelle said don't want please just a potion of chips said can't do said just ask we have to charge for the chips eh not having rice or tagliatelle heard other people on other tables complaining can see why just accommodate people won't be back again

Stroganoff beef was very tough and unchewable. I told waitress but she just said " sorry about that, and took my plate with all the uneaten beef still on the plate " No follow-up from Rosa staff, very disappointing

Came for my birthday lunch, nothing was too much of an ask including changing the starter, beautifully fresh food and superb service. Loved my bruchetta starter and the Rosa garden cocktail will definitely be back again

Would have been 5 stars but the cushioned settees had been cleaned and were still a bit damp, otherwise it was perfect, the food was lovely and the staff attentative

The food taste was good but it was just all cold. Had to reheat it all and when it's costing £29 it should at least be hot. Disappointing. The purpose of a takeaway is so you don't have to cook but ended up warming it myself nyway.

First time ordering from here and it will certainly not be the last. The food was of excellent quality and delivery was excellent, especially for the time of day in this area.

The delivery driver dropped my lasagna and the carbonara, he gave me the lasagna and it was all over the bag and he left the carbonara on the floor outside and didn’t say anything, I’ve been trying to contact the restaurant thinking the carbonara wasn’t being delivered but it was the driver fault and that he hasn’t even told us he dropped all the food, and we ate the lasagna thinking the car was on a bumping road, where is the driver hygiene???? The lasagne I ordered looked like someone had already been eating it! It was in a medium sized foil container but it was only half full. I’m not sure if this is your standard portions but £12.95 it was very disappointing.

Food to die for, sticky toffee pudding was so light and tasty. Staff so tentative, well done guys. Only negative point was we were upstairs and the wooden chairs were so uncomfortable after sitting on them for over two hours, could do with padded cushions on them. Definitely would recommend Rosa to family and friends.

Only ordered takeaway by collection so far, but the food has been excellent each time. The food has been ready to collect in line with the pickup time estimates, and despite only nipping in to collect, the restaurant itself looks very cosy and inviting in the evenings.

At Rosa tonight for my sisters 30th meal, there was 22 of us and we had a fabulous time. Beautiful area we ate in, the food was lovely, great atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely recommend, big shout out to Francesca, Tommy and Lucas they were fabulous, keeping the food and drinks flowing all evening. We will definitely be returning 😀

Go here regularly, the food always comes out pretty quickly, tastes brilliant and the staff is very polite and friendly

First time buying from this resturant. The pasta (x2) was nice and tasty. Starters where disappointing, calamari came alone no sauce or garnish and the BBQ ribs werent to our taste unfortunately, the sauce was more of an onion gravy with a little BBQ sauce. However the meat fell of the bone so cant fault that. Wouldnt say it was worth what we paid (£47) think we will try the resturant next time rather than take away.
