Outstanding food, lovely staff who cant do enough to help, food was stunning. I had mussells and my hubby had meat ball pasta with the garlic and tomato bread .. best meal and lovely relaxing vibe xx thank you for a fab Sunday lunch and drink, highly recommend x

Disappointed by our first visit today. Expected alot more. Service wasn't great, we got the wrong drinks and then items missing with food order. Food was average. Very upset stomach afterwards :(

Never have I felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant for being a minority, as I have done today. Visited Rosa with family, although the food was good and arrived promptly, we were greeted coldly, served in a significantly different manner to how others were being served and made to feel very uncomfortable by our waitress. Unfortunately, we will have to miss out on Rosa's food, due to the terrible and discriminate service.

Had a lovely evening here. 1st visit but definitely not the last. One of our orders was mistakenly wrong but very quickly rectified. Top marks for that Rosa staff, thank you. The two staff were superb, worked as a team. They were very busy but attentive, friendly and found time to chat a little as they were clearing the table between courses. Generous portion sizes and we took some home. We had the three course special, great value for money.

Do not come here if you have a young family or use a wheelchair! We really enjoyed the food during our visit — the portions were huge and tasty, and the waitstaff were friendly and did their best, even though they seemed a bit inexperienced due to them leaning over us to collect empty glasses and pass food over whilst we were eating. However, there were some serious problems that made our experience difficult and frustrating. The baby changing facilities were completely unusable. The room looked more like a storage cupboard, with chairs stacked on top of each other, boxes piled on high chairs, and a sink hanging off the wall. We had no choice but to clear some chairs to create a space on the dirty floor to change our child. When I spoke to the manager about it, he seemed unconcerned and blamed ongoing renovations, but no effort was made to improve the situation. The layout of the restaurant was also a big issue. Tables were packed so tightly together that there was barely any room to move, making it nearly impossible for anyone in a wheelchair to get to the toilets comfortably. Overall, while the food and friendly service were highlights, the lack of accessibility and baby facilities really needs urgent attention.

We had an 'italian' afternoon tea and it was excellent. Loads of food and great service. Highly recommend it.

Had a great time here. Some if us had the bottomless brunch. I myself opted not to but order off the menu separately. The food was lovely. Came really quickly too. The service was spot on a lad called Jack served us and he was great, really attentive and we had a good laugh with him. The drinks were all great too. Would definitely recommend

Booked tonight for a 16th for the first time. The team went above and beyond. Food was amazing. Can't wait to come back again

Very poor. Pretentious, tacky decor, poor quality cutlery. Food never arrived after an hour which may have been a blessing in disguise as what was coming out of the kitchen looked dry vile and amateur

Came with a large party for a birthday. The bar area was so busy, we had to wait sometime for a drink (20 minutes). The service once sat down was very good, food good. Lovely evening.

1st of April 2025. Never ever going again. Service was extremely slow we waited over an hour just for a glass of water. Food was substandard in fact it was awful. We actually got refunded on 2 meals out of 4 due to them being very poor

Been here a few times both with family and girls outings the food is great, this time we went for Afternoon tea …plenty of of food but a constructive suggestion is the bread and olive oil needs another dip balsamic etc was just a bit too much olive oil only and was very salty other than that portion size was good and we could have taken it home boxed up what was left but as we were out for the day we declined, always a good atmosphere and great service., if I was to choose between the afternoon tea or bottles brunch. Would go with bottomless brunch as we have down both Prosecco ones .

Was booked in to the restaurant but my daughter has been unwell so we got a takeaway and I've got to say it was absolutely amazing the food was incredible. Completely impressed with it. Thanks for making my mother's day

Food was fantastic, really tasty and fresh. Portion sizes were ample. Great selection of kegged beers and an ale. Great offers all week.

Your member of staff Brook, was extremely helpful and sympathetic towards me as I had a diabetic hypo. She brought me sugary drink and checked that I was okay. Her attitude and personable manner towards me was exemplary. We will definitely be coming again, next time to have a meal. The place seemed so full of happy, smiling customers. Your and the couriers negligence resulted in the non-delivery of the delivery that I anticipated, which cost me £47.03. You have forfeited a client today. Accepting responsibility and acknowledging an error is the least you can do as a business. I am currently in possession of an order that I am unable to consume as a result of my dietary requirements and preferences, and the other customer is also left without any form of acknowledgement from either of you. I am disappointed with your customer service today, the inconvenience you cause and the lack of care of duty you have showed.

We attended Rosa this evening and were greeted and sat at our table and all seemed well. We were then told that there would be a longer than normal wait for our food as there was a large party in, again this is fine and understandable. The waiter took our food orders and we waited patiently for just over half hour, in this time a table of people who had arrived later than us had there food served whilst we were still waiting for our starter. I asked what was going on and I was told that the order had not been sent to the kitchen to be prepared. We were told that it would be a priority and that it wouldn't be long and sure enough our starter came out within 10 minutes. We then asked for our mains to be served as we had now been in the restaurant for just over an hour. Another 30 minutes passed and still no food so again we asked and were told it would be 5 minutes and the reason it was taking so long was because I'd ordered a steak!! Another 10 minutes passed so I asked again, this time to be told that the steak had been dropped on the floor and the chef was cooking another. This was the final straw, we had been in the restaurant for nearly 2 hours and still hadn't been served our food. Needless to say we got up and left without waiting for the food, the service was absolutely terrible and we won't be going back there in a hurry.

Average food. More English flavours than Italian. Cream added to carbonara ??? Since when??? Penne arrabbiata made without olive oil and far far too sour that made my stomach suffer. Very basic culinary mistakes.

Unfortunately the most shocking visit we have ever experienced at a restaurant, went out for a group meal, pre ordered weeks in advance, turned up, girl behind bar was rude and waiting about 20 minutes just to be served for a drink, sat down and starters arrived, garlic bread was like cardboard with no flavour & half of starters missed off and never turned up. Young waitress rather abrupt when questioned why they were wrong. Then waited on mains in hope there would be an improvement, for us to be left sat there for 1h 30 minutes, still no mains? Asked staff how long, no response. Waited another half an hour. Still no food along with another couple sat on the table next to us drinking up and leaving due to waits of food. Food then finally arrived! And was the most appalling thing I have ever tasted in my life, half party sent food straight back and left without eating proper mains. Absolutely put off by this place, shame as beautiful location and lovely inside however attitude of staff, wait times and food lets it down. Thankfully manager was very helpful & couldn’t apologise enough for the quality of the food, and was embarrassed it had even been served in this way, and young girl reasonable and understanding towards the end. We love a good Italian and was looking forward to this as a large group but we were hugely let down.

Been for a visit this evening full table of 9 all offering different items,pastas pizzas etc, we have a couple “fussy” dinners in our party but our waitress “Olivia” made sure everyone’s meals were how we asked! The kitchen team are amazing the food was all incredable! Hats off to the front of house team! Everyone had a smile and service was Amazing by all considering how busy it was the food was 10/10! Not often we all leave happy but we even took some home with us :) :) wil definatly be coming back

We were only staying in the area for a few days and ended up going here 3 times! Bottomless brunch, evening meal, and afternoon tea. We thoroughly enjoyed each visit, the food was amazing, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was lovely. It was probably the best Italian restaurant we’ve been to and would highly recommend it.

Excellent meals and venue. Very good food, slightly marred by what seemed like pre cut beef on the roast which was a little bit fatty. Italian meals were spot on though. Clean and tidy with very attentive excellent service. Thought a nice addition would have been Italian music. Plenty of parking spaces behind the restaurant.

Booked a table for 6pm, 4 of the 5 starters arrived the 5th didn't arrive until we had finished which they had forgot very disappointing. When we received the bill, a bottle of wine had been added which we never ordered they agreed to take of the bill, then came back and we were told that earlier drinks needed to be added. We advised that those drinks were paid for prior to the meal, the missed starter was taken off the bill. Overall food was very good but it seemed that no one was in charge

A little slow tonight the 5-19-2024 but the meal was amazing highly recommend

We went there last night and it was very busy. We had a very good meal at a relax pace. They have plenty of staff who’s keep checking on us if we’re doing okay and very apologetic about slight delay in food service. As usual I have seafood pasta and it’s consistently good along with the tiramisu, highly recommended. Will definitely come back again

Lovely food, fab presentation. Manager Lewis was very welcoming. Real top restaurant quality food. Atmosphere was friendly and intimate. Not hurried by staff who were patient and professional.

We celebrated our family birthday ... but not at Rosa's.... !!!!! We left after waiting far too long for food which never arrived .... and having to endure an unacceptable level of noise from a table of high spirited...and very thoughtless ..... customers. Non prenoteremo piu !!!

Amazing food but was a little upset with the long waiting times 1-2 hours, probably because there was only one waitress who was very kind but had a lot of tables to attend to.

Excellent good. Best Italian around. Ordered a calzone and pasta both was very rich in flavours and authentic. Young staff were all very friendly and excellent service credits to them!

Just looking at the outside of the building you can see the place is going to be lovely and the inside does not disappoint. The welcome from the staff is lovely and the food was excellent, fantastic taste with good size portions and there were lots of options. The mocktails were amazing! The serving staff were very attentive and made us feel so welcome! I would 100% recommend!

Ordered one course - two pizzas, one pasta dish and one starter as a main. Took over an hour to arrive at the table. Restaurant wasn't busy, one other table occupied with a group of about 12 having a brunch. After45 minutes we were told the food was being dished up but it still took another 15 minutes to make it to the table. Pizzas and pasta were ok but the starter was poor. One of us had requested no onion on the pizza and it had clearly been removed after cooking, thankfully wasn't an allergy. Offered a round of drinks by way of an apology but asked for money off the bill instead which they did give (20% off food). Sadly the long wait ruined the experience though and we won't be returning.

We came to Rosa for a nice chilled date night and our experience was nothing less than perfect! The service was really good, Chloe was our waitress and she was very professional, attentive and polite. The food was lush and at prices was very reasonable. Highly recommend if your in the area ❤️

Come last night for a nice girls night and I had the salmon and calamari starter and I now have food poisoning it was disgusting And they forgot my potato's to go with my main Won't be going again

It was Saturday lunchtime, so we found it quiet for the atmosphere. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive and service was prompt.

Just a little quiet so lacking in atmosphere but it was a Thursday afternoon. Food and service were excellent.

Terrible food. Went for afternoon tea for mothers day. Rang before the day to notify of food allergy and if the fish element if the meal could be plated separately and kept away from other food. When the stand came it had the fish on it, the waiter stated well its on a separate plate and thats how it is, 6 people so expected 3 sets of food. Maybe petty but got 2. Food was squashed on with the bottom layer just a mash of food. Dry overcooked prawns and chicken, bruchetta tasted and cut like it was made hours ago. Worst still the dessert was different from advertised when this was one of the main factor of visiting. Booked well in advance so poor planning on their part. Definitely won't be returning as spoilt our mother's day. On plus side the chips were good.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely night at Rosa. The kitchen must be complimented for their sensitive handling of seafood, and the front of house were attentive and friendly. Only niggles stop me giving 5 stars - the white wine was not cold, the bottle of red we ordered I opened myself and my duck was not perfect (although as a chef myself I do understand how tricky it is to render the fat but leave the meat tender on duck). A good addition to Barrowford.

Loved the food which was hot and delicious and a good price too friendly waiting on staff The only downside and it is a small one is that people can visit just for a drink and at 6.30pm on a Saturday night it was quite noisy and busy around the bar/waiting area

Great food and service, we went on a Friday night and there was some big groups in there which meant it was difficult to chat on our table as they were loud, no fault of the restaurant, could happen anywhere.

Superb Monday afternoon lunch. Food was great and well presented. The staff were great, very polite and nothing was any trouble. We took the 3 small plate & shared a calzone which was more than enough. The 3 plates were Parma Ham with Mozzarella / Brie / Calamari. The calzone was stuffed with mozzarella, spicy salami, mushrooms and ham and served with a warm tomato sauce, with a side salad.

So, our 1st visit. I never bother with reviews but I really do want this restaurant to achieve their best and stay open. Our starters took around 45mins to come. They were beautiful. In general the service was quite slow and it wasn't busy Our mains came a little quicker. Again amazing food. However, I really wasn't happy paying £17.95 for a chicken breast in sauce and then having to pay extra for each of the veg £4.95 and then potatoes on top. I can not knock the food it really is lovely and I'm dying to go again. But I can not justify that kind of client rip off... a meal is a meal you don't pay for each part of it.

Nice little quiet cafe type restaraunt.

We visited here on a Tuesday with the plan of enjoying the 3 courses for £23 offer. All good tasted great and was well presented. The decor was very floral but not garish. We booked a table earlier in the day on their website and had no problems with this. They seated us very quickly. The only down side was the 2 front of house staff seemed to struggle to keep up with demand as there were a few large tables. We found ourselves waiting long periods to be served food. It took from 19.30 to near 10 to have 3 courses for 3 people which is quite excessive. Other than the delayed food it was a good experience

A great evening out with family. Rosa offers a great selection of Mediterranean dishes from arancini to gnocchi. The service was fantastic with very attentive staff and beautiful decor in the restaurant itself. I’ll be sure to come back the next time I’m in Barrowford and I’d recommend that you do too!

What an absolute joke, ordered food on Uber eats they waited 20 minutes to cancel the order.. phoned them for them to tell me they forgot to turn Uber off and they won’t issue the refund but to speak with Uber then slammed the phone down.

Food cold when it came , service not good when it was quiet while we where in , not great atmosphere nice place but didn't have what I wanted 9 apparently run out , won't return again.

Food and drinks were both nice Experience was brought right down by the fact that we, a table of 2 people, were the only customers present in the restaurant at the time and yet the staff were so inattentive No one checked how the food was, we were never offered further drinks, condiments were not brought to us after we asked so had to approach the bar to ask again and found the staff were on their phones - I could understand if the restaurant was packed but there were literally more staff than customers present at the time Would not revisit due to the poor service

I've had a few meals here, the staff are lovely and the pizzas (it's all I've eaten because I had the calzone and have been back twice for more) are fantastic and also reasonably priced.

This was our first visit, but it was safe to say it won't be our last. The food was absolutely delicious,with very generous portions. The service was first class. The restaurant as a lovely feel to it,spotlessly clean.

Turned up prompt for a 5.45 booking for 5. Was sat immediately and order was taken. Drinks arrived after 20 minutes which we thought was a little poor. Nothing compared to a 1 hour wait for starter of garlic bread!!! The olives were forgotten, when questioned we were told 'that dish is coming' no apology despite it clearly being forgotten as we then heard the waitress shouting for them in the kitchen. Mains were nice enough. When we had finished eating and turned down the offer of desserts, we were asked to leave as the table was needed for 8pm. Fortunately we were keen to leave anyway as the attitude of out waitress was disgraceful.

Brilliant food and service, not your typical Italian that has a menu bigger than a dictionary. The food was excellent and service to match
