Very bad food had Raw chicken. I'm going hospital now I have had pain in my stomach very bad avoid everyone please Not good!!!

Ordered food for delivery via deliveroo.Food didn't turn up when though message said been delivered.Rang restaurant and they gave us contact number for deliveroo,was number for restaurants not customers!Was given the correct number by the other department.Guy gave us 3 options we took money back option.We asked what happened to food was told left by front door and driver rang too but wasn't by front door and he didn't ring.Rang restaurant just to let them know about their deliveroo drivers.She did apologise but really wasn't bothered.She said it's annoying when they do that!Got the impression once they hand oeder to delivery driver then its nothing to do with them!!I can't tell you how the food tasted as didn't get it.It probably ended up in a Bush somewhere!!The drivers are letting this business down,they need to take more of an interest in what the drivers do with with the customers food.We were sat waiting for nothing !

This place is amazing it should get more recommend to other people even though it looks a bit shabby the food is absolutely amazing.My son and I go here all the time and we just love it here to eat.

Deeply disappointed with the food, staff and the prices of the this place. I ordered something that used to be £2 cheaper a month ago and cost me more this week. Then the food was wet and cold, I do care that my food is this way Roosters! This isn't after night out food, I want it warm and well have taste! Then your staff give me attitude like they're in school...Are...You...All...Okay! To the person that served me, you honestly need to change your behaviour and speak to customers like human beings and not like your parents after being told off. The female manager that laughed at me, you were super disrespectful and I really can't begin to put into words on all this. Finally, Roosters clean your damn chicken properly.

Sadly did not meet good standard, ended up with food poisoning for the week. emailed customer support to not get a response and called the store for them to laugh at me.

100% would recommend roosters to anyone! Great value for money and amazing tasting food! I got the Mexican chicken wrap with some piri piri fries and it was the best tasting food I have eaten in a long time! Will be back again!!

The last two times I have ordered on Uber eats for delivery, I have ordered a chicken burger and added halloumi, both times it has been missed even though it is clear on the order and on the label on the burger when it arrives! Pay attention!!!

I went to have a lunch for the first time in the Roster Peri Peri Poole Ashley Road, when I approach the till to order I wasn’t sure what to eat , 3 ladies helped me to choose and explain the menu, They where very friendly and happy, Antonia, Caroline and Nicah, I just want to say thank you for the great service. The food was great, I had a chicken wrap with BBQ sauce ..I super recommend. Thank you girls you made my day !

Soggy chips, hard wraps, small portions, and milkshakes served in cardboard Coca-Cola cups!! Manager needs to go on a manager course total waste of money.

Ordered , waited well over an hour called up to be told they had no order and I was hung up on. Called back to then be told its on its way the driver is lost... get off the phone and my order gets cancelled .. time wasting and poor customer service

Order never arrived.. After 45 minutes of phoning to find out why, still no answer... Have had food from there before which was nice.. But this is the second (and last) time I've had issues with delivery and contacting them

we ordered two prawn wraps,piri pier chicken and 2 boxes of rice. everything was okay except the rice- it was literally disgusting,inedible even. it felt like they had put ketchup water and mixed it up with rice. we weren't able to even finish half a box and ended up feeding the seagulls with the two boxes of rice. I would have much rather eaten plain rice than whatever that was. seriously disappointing and nowhere near "piri piri" or" hot"

I got the fries as stated above and can I just say they were amazing! Best fries ever some may say (check the Oasis reference, are you team Liam or Noel?) they disagree but these people can’t be trusted and are potentially witches. Furthermore I also decided to try the mango smoothie, which could’ve been a risk but if it was it definitely payed off because it was delicious. Good food with large potions at good prices I can’t ask for more will definitely be back.

Late and cold. Sweaty chips. Almost £10 for 6 pieces of old boot leather beef. The worst thing is they would not answer the phone. That is poor customer service. Cashing in on the COVID excuse. If we had the time and knew the area. This would have been returned. Would not recommend. Stay clear. You have been warned To add our order was £75 for 8 lads. Nobody was happy!!

Ordered a chicken burger with fries and a chicken wrap. When it arrived the burger looked great but I was shocked at how empty the wrap was, hardly any chicken and full of limp, soggy lettuce and nowhere near worth the money I paid. To make matters worse both meals were cold, not even warm but stone cold. I did eat the wrap and it’s three bits of chicken it contained but my wife’s meal went in the bin. I phoned the store to complain about the quality of the food and also that it was cold and was informed that as I had ordered the food via Uber Eats there was nothing they could do. I did point out that Uber Eats didn’t make the wrap and skint on the chicken but the lady I spoke to in the store said regardless of that there was absolutely nothing they would do. I always try and take any problem I have direct with the store rather than post a bad review and give them a chance to rectify or replace but have no option as they passed the buck elsewhere. It’s a shame as they had been highly recommended but to be fair I’ve had chicken wraps of a much high quality from the local supermarket.

To be honest, I only get the piri piri salted wedges from here but they are some of the best Ive had

Now I'm not one to leave bad reviews, I'm pretty fair and if things can be dealt with then I wouldn't put a bad review in, I just don't review them as realise these are not great for businesses. Where I must write one is where I feel fobbed off, and this is such a case. I ordered a takeaway on 21st August. Have ordered before and eaten in and mostly good food but on this occasion it was terrible. The food took over an hour to arrive and was cold which was the first thing but nothing compared to what I found when I was most of the way through eating my chips. A dead fly! It looks cooked to me but what do I know. I felt completely sick and called the restaurant straight away. I spoke to the manager who asked me to send pictures which I did. He then said it wasn't cooked and couldnt be from there but eventually he agreed he would refund me for my chips and wrap. So I waited and waited and emailed again, waited a few more days and emailed again. Still no refund. Its the 6th September and I am now fed up waiting. Funnily enough once I told the manager that I now had no other option but to leave a bad review he now wants me to ring then ASAP. Well, I think they have had more than enough time to sort this to my satisfaction. Its too late unfortunately. I will not be recommending eating Roosters ever again as feel totally sick when think about what I could have eaten. They say its not possible for a fly to get in there because they have fly electrocutors but clearly they don't work!

They do a deal on the lunch time which is so good two wraps and chips for 10.99 really liked this place

Taste is so good, ambience looking great. Staff were very polite and helpful. Very quick in serving the food.

We’ve been using Roosters regularly, both this store and others locally. Everything is what you would expect, price taste etc. The service is good and reasonably fast. The store is well looked after, clean and tidy etc. Staff are friendly and will remind patrons of offers to get value for money.

Quick attentive service, delicious looking food. Beautiful smell in the restaurant. Will come again for the wings Wednesday.

Came here for lunch with the family and staff were very friendly, sat near the biofolds so we had some air, food was average, have definitely been to better places before. Chilli sauce we got was awful and more like a tangy marinade.

We had a lamb burger, strips platter and 10 chicken wings. The lamb burger was a mass produced type but still very nice with nice garnish and sauce. Chicken strips always a winner! Chips super fresh and hot, still crispy when we got home. Only disappointment was the chicken wings, chewy, soggy and not good at all.

I recently bought a lemon and herb beef wrap, and it was delicious! the beef was soft and tasty, i'll try it with another sauce next time :) 100% recommend :)

We had a good experience when we visited this restaurant nice clean with friendly staff. We also got a delivery the next day and was also great. Delicious food and delivery on time with the order on point.

Ordered online and it’s so far taken 2 hours 10 minutes and still waiting on order. Told it will be 5 minutes when called the restaurant about 30 minutes ago, terrible service couldn’t be bothered when said to cancel the order. Won’t be wasting time and money on this business again.

If the staff had one communal brain cell between then that brain cell has been on annual leave since the day it opened. Food is pretty tasty other than the chips, the chips taste like donuts.

If I could I would give it 0 STARS. It took 2hrs and 10 mins to come and when I called them the first time they told me it was out for delivery 15mins ago and then I called them 30 minutes after the first call and still did not get the food. 2hrs and 10 mins later I got the food and it was all cold and soggy. Where it has been left with the driver for so long. I called Rooster to ask about getting a refund and the first member of staff did not know anything to help me so I asked to speak to a manager. Then the manager accused me of lying about when my food came because he said that on my first phone call I got the food?? Ovs I never did. He called me a liar and constantly on the phone kept going "No no no no" and never sorted the issue out. Poorly managed, that manger need to be trained in customer server. Don't get anywhere calling the customer a liar and saying I already had the food. 2 Hour and 10 mins wait for food just to be called a Liar. Disgusted won't be eating at rooster piri piri ever again.

Order from here on Saturday the 13/12/2019 the order took over 2 hours to arrive and when it did it was all wrong, soggy & cold. we called them up a few time to ask about why it is taking to long and the ETA. we were told the order was being delivered buy this was a lie as we only live 5mins aways and it took another 40 mins after being told it was on the way. and to make it even worse the delivery driver had no idea where he was going and we needed to shout out the window to him as he was wandering around the street with our food. they did not label the vegetarian option which made it hard for us to know which warp was which . they also got the order wrong, giving us a wrap instead of the ordered items and all the sauces were wrong. so we called them up and complained. we were rudely greeted by the manager of the place, thinking he knew better about everything and he was telling us we were lying about everything even know we had proof. and when we tried to talk to him all he kept saying was "NO NO NO" "NO NO NO" and we could not get a word in at all he was rude and knows nothing about customer service. he definitely needs to be trained! Long story short. do not go here the customer service is terrible and the manager has no idea what he is doing making it a struggle to deal with the smallest things.If you are after chicken go somewhere else!

Having been regular customers since they very first opened I'm afraid to say I will not return again. As a business we spent somewhere in the region of £150-£250 per month here on take out lunches. Despite service and quality slipping a little over recent months we persevered in hope it would pick back up. Unfortunately it kept slipping and the straw the broke the camels back for me was last week. I tried to call several times without success so being in a rush I ordered online. I must of ticked to pay with cash instead of card. I arrive to collect my order, which was just being finished in perfect timing and was asked to pay the due balance of £65+. Presented my card to which they would point blank not accept as I'd ticked cash. They were telling me to go online and cancel my order and then reorder selecting the cars option. Time and patience were running thin by now. I gave them the option, take the card payment for the £65 odd pound or I walk and don't return. They must be making extremely good money to let me walk as easily as that. I'll never return to that place again. Obstructive, difficult and greedy.

Dear who it may concern For years I have worked in the food industry, and hospitality sector, and I must say that your service is lacking. I was told that I could not pay by card because when the order was placed cash was ticked. There for, if I wanted the food I would have to go back online to pay by card or I would have to leave and go and get some cash then bring it back to pay. This was somewhat shocking, as I had never experienced this before especially in a time when good business owners are trying their best to remove obstacles from the customers making its easier for them to buy their products. I asked why I could not pay by card, even more so after seeing an Indian lady pay before me, £22 by card so I know it’s not a race thing or that the card machine was not working. Then to top it of the staff member chuckled and said it’s easy go online and pay or go get cash. I told him to keep the food, because what was easy for him was not easy for me.I could tell you that my wife placed the order online and that she was not with me, so me having to call her, ask her to go back online to pay was not an option as she was driving and I was inches away from the food. Rooster chicken I could tell you that if I was to take cash out that would cost me because of charges, but in doing so I would let you see it from the customers side and that would not help your customer service in any way would it now. If any body in your business is bothered, then  please could you enlighten me as to why I was embarrassed, let down and still hungry with the service I received. 

DEAR ROOSTERS PIRI PIRI POOLETHANK YOU FOR The worst experience of a take away I've ever had in my entire life.This is my first experience of writing reviews as not one to make a fuss but this really took the biscuit.Ordered online, order confirmed by email. Rang them 45 mins later chasing the order, for Roosters to say there online system had crashed. Asked if I give them the order verbally or send it to the store by email. So I could collect. They said they could not accept the order, but they accepted my money alright! I then spoke to the manager and he said there was no way they could have received my order and the money would not have been taken out of my account. I checked my account a few days later and the money had gone! I spoke to Maria on the phone and she said if I came in and showed her the order confirmation I would be refunded. I later went into the store and conveniently Maria was not in or the manager. The server behind the bar then read the order confirmation and accepted the situation but the continued to criticize me for taking too long to sort this out and she could not give me the £30 as it was too much money for the business. Unbelievable. She offered to cook the food which I ordered which was enough for 2 other friends who were not around that day, so far too much food for one. But I had to take the food or leave empty handed.My advice, order the food in store and don't pay till it's in your hand. But there are far better places to eat I assure you.I don't expect more to come of this as they felt what they were doing was acceptable. But to take someones money, not give them food on the day, assure me I would not be charged, then charge me, promise a refund and then refuse to give one. Is disgraceful. The food is overrated anyway especially when you didn't want it 4 days later. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Have been a regular at Roosters since it opened, mainly for a takeaway option for collection. On a number of occasions recently, they either don’t answer the phone at all or when they do (after several attempts of calling) advise of an hour plus collection time.

Sorry to say but very very bad service there was no water wait for half hour to get order and when we get food there was a piece of broken glass we showed the person they didn’t care not even sorry we just left our food . Never come back

Ate here with my husband and daughter. The food was good and the portions generous. Between us we ordered a quarter of chicken, chicken strips and a chicken wrap. The chicken was cooked really well and was moist and tender. The chips were also good. My only criticism would be the ketchup/sauces. The hot piri piri tasted slightly vinegary. The prices were reasonable too.

We eat here reguarly and love the food, flavours and healthy option for a takeaway. We would recommend the Lebanese flavouring. We also like the convinient home delivery option. Thanks.

I ordered food to get it delivered at Asap on just eat on (11/04/2019) but the food was cold and uncooked I called the shop the guy said it’s on the way and I received it after 40 minutes but the food was stone cold I called the shop but the guy was not even in a mood to listen what I’m saying he was very much interested to argue with me and to put the phone down and he just treated me very bad this is such a shame no more foods from this place.

This was the second time I visit this place. Portions were very generous and nicely flavoured. This time I had the Lebanese flavour chicken wings but I prefer the lemon one. One thing I would point on is the quality of the Ketchup. It is a too cheap make and you can feel it. It's a pity because the fries were nice

I really enjoyed my chicken wrap it was delicious.The food arrived quickly and it was hot which was good. The driver was very polite and friendly! Overall it was a good experience, I will definitely order food from here again!.

The chicken burgers in this place are excellent. Going back for more. It’s no surprise the place is always busy

They are horrendous in service, it was 10pm, bear in mind they close 11pm and obviously want to close whenever they want. The guy in charge tried forcing us to have takeaway as they had cleaned the floors early and didn’t want us to eat in because they didn’t want to clean up after us, but we refused and said we will eat quick,after battling for 5 minutes he finally allowed us to sit in one of the booths,they don’t listen to your order, they undercooked my wrap and tried to argue with me in regards to it being cooked when the food was not cooked and was cold. I don’t want food poisoning!

This used to be a favourite place to ea but this has gone down hill. The staff get the orders wrong.....this happened twice in two weeks. The most annoying thing is that they close when they fancy and dont stay open till the advertised time. This is very unprofessional.

Ordered my first Roosters through Deliveroo as I'd heard great things from friends. The menu offers a variety of different types of chicken cooked in a variety of different sauces. I ordered 10 grilled chicken strips cooked in a medium heat piri-piri sauce and some buttery mash. The chicken was perfectly cooked in a really tasty sauce, perfect level of heat. The mash initially seemed quite a small portion but was definitely enough for one. Will definitely order again.

Ordered at 5pm on a Saturday and was with us by 5:30! loads of rice for the kids meals, chicken was juicy, roasted veg was cooked perfectly, chicken wrap with lemon and herb was fantastic and they threw in some free chips. couldn’t fault our first order and will definitely order from them more regularly!

Me and my wife used roosters in Bournemouth for years. Then stopped as food got bad. Just recently we have moved to Parkstone and thought we would give it ago again with it being a different branch. First time all good. However tonight the second time we have used them, the delivery guy turned up with our food which came to £13.76, I went to hand him a 10er for him to state he has no change. I couldn't believe he basically expected a tip of nearly half our total food bill. I stood arguing with him for a few minutes, when I asked what he wanted to about the situation all I got in response was 'I don't know' what's worse is when I placed the order I was asked to confirm if I was paying cash on door, which I did. Thankfully my wife came out to the door to see what was happening. Thank god she had the exact money in her purse. But if she hadn't it would have been daylight robbery. It's shame really as the food is so tasty.

Have called to order a takeaway to be collected on twice this week. On both occasions I was told that they’re too busy to accept any more orders.

Just Ok chicken fast food restaurant, if you hungry - go for it. If you not, try to find something else.

They started serving small portion of steak which I tried twice. Very tasty but not cheap as it about £11 with just some salad. Better with fries but it costs another couple quid for wedges added.

Ordered dinner for my children, we were told one delivery time then it was changed to the later time to be delivered and promised to be at 19.55 and finally arrived at 21.25. Food was at best Luke warm, I tried multiple times to phone the shop but was unable to get through.

I like the cheesecake from here with or without ice cream. The menu staresape pie but it’s never available. The mains very poor in value and quality. Chicken often burnt and smell like charcoal.

Came to the restaurant at the beginning of the month and was met with warm and welcoming service from the staff. Although there was a small wait for the food I believe it was reasonable for the quality. Ordered a large chicken wrap for myself and small wraps for my friends. Each wrap had the expected size that was explained to me by the friendly male cashier (whom I would love to thank for his excellent service). All around the food was nice and the restaurant is very well lain out and designed.

If I could have given a zero rating for this meal I would have. We ordered 10 strips of beef, medium flavour - it was so hot my husband could not eat it, plus it was a ridiculously small portion for £10.50. We also had a prawn wrap - not only were the prawns nearly raw, there were only 5 in the wrap (the rest was lettuce) and I had asked for hot flavour and it was mild! Overall it was a dreadful meal - it cost £22.50 and was a total waste of money. I would never use them again or recommend them (the only good thing was that they were quick in delivering).

Ordered on just eat at 9.15pm then had a message after placing the order saying the restaurant has given a delivery time of 10.40pm. We called and said if that's the case we want to cancel the order. They weren't great with that idea so we said what if we collect? They said they could have the order ready in 10 mins.

I would have rated this five stars but that got ruined when we were hungry and waited forty minutes for our food. lovely booths and the restaurant is done nice but that means nothing if you can’t handle the orders you are taking. Couldn’t quite work it out as a guy ordered the same food as ours just before us and he waited ten mins but us and other people waited so long then when the food arrived chips were cold and stuff we ordered was wrong. The food was really nice and I would go again and hope the service would be better but just don’t get why we waited so long it wasn’t busy.

Chicken arrived with parts of it clearly undercooked. Phoned the shop to complain & Megan the manager informed me that they wouldn't do anything about it as we ordered through deliveroo. Brilliant.
