Lovely food and great service. No rush to get you out. 🥳

Very nice food and extremely friendly service! From stepping foot in the door til we left, we were made to feel welcome, nearly as if we were family! The food was presented very clean-cut and with flavour to match, although I think there's some room for more in regards to more generous seasoning. We had also ordered a few cocktails which were rather nice also and then were met with a generous on-the-house shot each from our waiter which was amazing and this displays the perfect way to please your customers! The service cannot be described in many other ways other than passionate! We will be back for another visit and to experience another comforting and relaxing time at Laz Italian!

Beautiful open and inviting decor, lovely romantic music, incredibly friendly and attentive staff from first greet to leaving the restaurant. The penne mia casa was delicious, I could easily have eaten it until I burst. My girlfriends burger was also lovely according to her. I will be back soon!

Myself and my mum had lunch here yesterday. We go to this restaurant every time we are in Glasgow. The food is always absolutely amazing. It is really high quality products but very low prices for what you are giving. I have tried different things through the years all amazing but I always go back to the delicious lentin soup then my steak, chips and salad and cheesecake when having dessert. Everything is fresh and really well presented. I have been coming here a long time now and have always had the best of service, from the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere. Never ever one bad experience. I know all the staff and they remember us and come to our table to say hello each time we come to the restaurant. Yesterday was no different. They are all so friendly. Aside food the cocktails are absolutely incredible. Piña colada is my favourite drink and yesterday was the first time we had one here. I have never had such an amazing Piña colada like the ones I had yesterday. Just when I thought this restaurant couldn't possibly get any better as it is already the best in Glasgow they surprise you and they deliver yet again! Well done to all. Lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of city centre. I have been a regular of this restaurant. Moreover the Christmas menus with starter was very delicious. Normally my favourite food was spaghetti carbonara with hand made mozzarella garlic bread. But I tried to pollo balmora with delicious veg and souces in this Christmas time. My friend ate steak pizza. The pizza dough was so tasty. Owner and manager of restaurant interacted with us. We liked that so much. Very kind and nice places. The staff was attentive and friendly. Next time I’m so impatient to try carbonara in parmasen cheese whell. Thanks

Wooooowww!!! This Italian is so amazing.Highly recommended going here.The Christmas menus were highlight. I had turkey and it was made with vegetables and gravy souse and it was absolutely amazing. My wife had roosted beef and it was so delicious too. The desserts which apple crumble and tiramisu were delightful. Wonderful service with smiling waiters. Definitely would go here again.

We arrived this afternoon for our pre-booked table (Christmas Day 2024) for a limited set menu meal costing over fifty pounds per person. ( Extra £2 for adding chicken to a basic pasta meal was an option) The table we were shown to was set for two, it also was completely bare It resembled a McDonalds or KFC rather than a city centre restaurant. This was disappointing given that it was Christmas Day. I did notice a table close to ours which had Christmas Crackers however , I'm unsure if the customers had supplied their own. Our table had nothing on it apart from the cutlery and a white cheap paper napkin. My starter was basic a pate with three oat cakes and a salad consisting of lettuce, shredded carrot and red cabbage. It was bland and uneventful resembling more what's you'd expect from a greasy spoon cafe. The mozzarella sticks looked more appetizing and my wife enjoyed them. I wasn't overly annomored by the female waitress who appeared uninterested and also gave the vibes that she would have preferred to be anywhere else other than in the restaurant today. The rest of the two courses were edible, however, it was probably the least enjoyable Italian (?) food I've eaten since I visited Turkey a few years back and ate in Turkish Italian. Chinese , Indian Curry House. The Tiramisu sponge hadn't been soaked in the Masala wine long enough and the sponge biscuits were still hard in places. I don't think it was due to it being frozen. However, I have woken this morning with an upset stomach on Boxing Day . So thank you to the chef for that. I was presented with my bill which included a £17 plus service charge . I have to admit normally if the service was decent / average I'd have no issue paying 10% service charge and would have given a few extra pounds since, it was Christmas. However , I felt let down by the table , the quality of the food , the female waitress and especially her reaction to me asking for the removal of the service charge , snatching the bill out my hand before returning with the amended bill..Her attitude stank throughout our visit. I left the restaurant and will not be returning. It was a very disappointing experience and a let down on Christmas Day. The venue is lovely , the male staff were nice enough and attentive however , I've learned you only get what you pay for and a £50 plus per head meal isn't going to be anything other than bang average and bland. My advice is avoid this restaurant, or at least during the cash grab period of Christmas. Maybe had the female waitress with the attitude not been working today or serving my table. Maybe, the experience may have been slightly more bareable.

This was one of the few places open on Christmas day accepting walk-ins. I had the lentil soup and the carbonara pasta and they both were very good. Only giving 4 stars because of the service. The waiter seemed to be in a hurry all the time it made me feel uncomfortable.

Went today for the first time. I highly recommend this place feeling welcome right away after walking in. The food was delicious. Prices are amazing to! x

Decent little place. Among entry you can tell that waiters are trying their best to squeeze every bit of money off you at the start but they are friendly and attentive. As for the ambience, it's okay, and the food prices are reasonable, especially in city centre. However for the food, wasn't happy with the lasagna - mostly just cheese with very little meat at the bottom and pizza was too greasy for my liking. The garlic bread was most poor. Not worth the money at all for it didn't taste fresh, and lacked heavily in any garlic taste. Have had ones from supermarkets more nicer in my opinion... Nevertheless, an okay dining experience - nothing more, nothing less.

Tasty Italian in Glasgow! The pizza is very large and tasty. Nothing to complain about! Also a decent price. Price-quality is top! I would recommend Laz!

En Glasgow con amigos y los cuatro nosotros, dos parejas, buscando cenar con poca antelación después de haber llegado en tren una hora antes. Me encontré con este restaurante esencialmente italiano. Era bastante tranquilo, pero decidió arriesgarse. Personal amable y un menú bastante variado. Todos comimos diferente. La mía era pasta penne con pollo y salsa cajún. Fue un pollo excelente, sabroso y suculento. Todos los demás estaban muy contentos con sus comidas. Uno tenía lasaña y otro lubina. Demostró una buena elección y la factura era razonable. No dudaría en recomendar.

We were warmly welcomed. Staff were friendly, although there were several that served us and a couple appeared to be new so not so knowledgeable. Both our starters were poor. Lentil soup and muscles in garlic and white wine. Both if these were overpowering salty and not edible. The second course wasn't much better, although one meal looked appetising, balanced and colourful, the other was chicken in a sauce with rice. This was bland, looked awful and certainly not worth the money.

Outstanding food, loved the cheese wheel my carbonara came from, great to see it right there at the table. Very reasonably priced as well, give it a go!

He estado viniendo a Laz italiano / romaní desde hace unos años. Siempre es el pensamiento número uno cuando estaban buscando buena comida italiana. Nunca decepcionado, la comida es siempre lugar en y el servicio / personal es genial. También hacen algunos cócteles de cracking que en realidad sienten que tienen algo de alcohol jajajaja a diferencia de algunos lugares. Recomiendo encarecidamente y el lugar se ve muy bien desde la reforma. 🙂 volver pronto de nuevo seguro

Great atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, a great experience. We tried pizza and bruschetta as food. Then we had dessert. All were delicious and the service was fast. We left the restaurant with pleasure. We will definitely visit again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Italian food and super friendly service. The focaccia is one of the best I've ever tried, light and crispy and full of flavour! There's a ravioli with gamberi filled with lobster, amazing dish. The place has been renovated and looks modern, nice and fresh.

Food was taking ages to arrive and when it arrived pasta was too hot to eat but pizza was cold... Average taste we were disappointed. ask for price of beer before you order as there is no price in the menu MANADORY 10% SERVICE CHARGE

He estado aquí con mi familia por casualidad, estábamos parados fuera del lugar leyendo el menú y el dueño del restaurante nos invitó a entrar. Como familia italiana nos dimos cuenta inmediatamente de que estábamos entrando en un restaurante para turistas que no tenía nada que ver con la cocina italiana. La camarera nos sirvió bastante rápido. Ella nos trajo botellas de agua mineral sin gas (4, 25 libras cada una) en lugar de las jarras de agua del grifo gratuitas habituales locales en la oferta del Reino Unido. Creo que eso debe haber sido un malentendido, y espero que no hayan querido engañar a turistas como nosotros para gastar más. La comida era mediocre, probablemente aceptable para la persona escocesa promedio que busca cocina italiana “real”. Pedimos dos pizzas Margherita y dos ensaladas Caesar (en las que pedimos añadir pollo). La masa de la pizza era masticable, la salsa de tomate sabía industrial y la mozzarella era solo queso, también estaba un poco mal cocida. La ensalada César definitivamente tenía algo malo con el aderezo, era muy agrio. He probado otros restaurantes italianos mucho mejores que Roma durante mi estancia aquí en Escocia. La factura estaba bien, la única queja era el sobreprecio de las botellas de agua. En general diría a los turistas italianos como nosotros que eviten este restaurante y a otros turistas que busquen un restaurante italiano real aquí en Glasgow.

Ate here during our trip in Scotland as a family of italians. Well, what can I say? Food was mediocre at best. We ordered 2 margheritas and 2 ceasar salads. The dough of the pizzas was very chewy. The ceasar sauce was very off-putting, almost only tasted like vinegar. They even served us a glass bottle of water instead of a jug of tap water so they could charge us 5 pounds more. Wouldn’t recommend eating here if you’re looking for real italian food.

Extremely nice restaurant, very accommodating staff. Throughly enjoyed the olive mise, good quality olive oil. Roma chicken is to die for 10/10 every time we come. Think I was served Burrata instead of mozzarella with my caprese salad. Ordered my steak medium rare, first time it arrived well done & I politely sent it back (even offered to pay for it.) Second time it came very rare, I wasn’t going to send it back a second time so attempt to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only eat half of it as parts were just far too rare. Mac & cheese was good, quite stodgy and maybe needed a bit more sauce but other than that was very tasty. On the whole enjoyed our meal here but a few things slightly let us down. The staff however were all incredible.

Very beautiful place and delicious food. We came here to try out a good Italian place, and now I can only recommend this one ! If we’re back in Glasgow, we certainly will come back to eat and drink here !

I went here for my birthday dinner with my wife. Booked it on 5pm deal. Staff acknowledge this straight away. Got a lovely table brought out our wine and asked if we wanted some water. We ordered starters and an amazing steak. I had the Diane sauce which was amazing and my wife had the red wine sauce. I would defo go back. Tip is already put on your bill. The 5pm deal was 2 course Sunday to Wednesday with a bottle of wine £49.25. Thank you

Soup of the day - Lentil was watery. Minestrone had no pasta and in a vast amount of tomato coloured tasteless hot water. Lasagne was mainly pasta sheets with minimal beef. Also had two poor desserts. One soft drink. Bill arrived with ten percent service charge. Bizarre price over £50.

The best lasagna outside of Rome! The garlic bread and Caesar salad were great compliments to this beautiful lunch surprise. All the way from the States to eat here.

Our server took the time to explain the menu and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, both in presentation and taste. The wine selection was also impressive, and our server paired the perfect bottle to complement our meal. My brother and I had a lovely supper here. He had a Hawaiian pizza and I had an Arrabiata, which they graciously added sausage too. Our food was cooked to perfection and my pasta was the perfect balance of spice and flavour 10 out 10 would recommend

We tried here for some dinner before attending a show at the Pavilion. The service was quick and friendly. The food was alright nothing exciting. Plenty seating space and a large menu to pick from.

2nd time here. We looked for this place because we enjoyed it so much the last time. Friendly welcome upon arrival and no problem getting a table. Not a great deal of vegan options, but we did order bread and pasta. Food was tasty and service was attentive. A good choice for Italian food in Glasgow.

Enjoyed our visit to Roma, we had arrived for The Tenacious D and looked for a restaurant to have a meal at before going in. Choice of two menus, lunch menu from 12pm to 6pm was two courses for around £20 per person. Food was prepared fresh staff were attentive and really enjoyed our meal.

Really enjoyed a family birthday here. I had the seabass which was crisp and fresh with delicious vegetables. My kids all loved the pizzas and my husband devoured his burger. Quality white wine and tasty desserts, we had ice cream and cheesecake. Relaxed, bright atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

Place was empty at 8.30pm on a Thursday. Service was great. Friendly and genuine. Biggest bowl or risotto I’ve ever been served! Very creamy.

We came here last night for dinner as it's close to the concert hall. We ordered off the pre-theatre menu and got 2 courses each and all the food was delicious - I had a pizza and my mum had a chicken and rice dish and both got cheesecake for dessert. Servers were very attentive and Luca in particilar was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back.

Wanted a quick bite to eat pre-show. This place had great deals on 2 and 3 courses. Food was quickly received and was lovely. The restaurant has beautiful decor. Food is very reasonably priced and good sized portions. However what is a reasonably priced meal becomes less so when drinks and service charge are added on. Over £6 for a Peroni is expensive, especially compared to wetherspoons the evening before.

Nipped in for a pre theatre deal. Great value, 50 quid for 2 people 2 courses and a bottle of wine. Very quick service food was tasty and well portioned.

Lack of communication and hustled out quite quickly. Ordered peroni and got water!!. Didn't have the cheesecake they had advised me of so they just gave me something else without asking. Constantly at the table asking if it was OK which was annoying. Cleared the table really quickly which gave me the impression they didn't want us to stay too long. Food was OK and pleasant atmosphere.

Been here quite a few times. The girls got carbonara and dessert. I prefer a mix of starters and a side (mushrooms in a white sauce and mussels in a white sauce which comes with garlic bread). I also got a side of chips, I keep forgetting to tell them no salt, they always come heavily salted to the point I end up not eating them but my friend did. We got soft drinks x1 each.

Went for pre theatre , server was very blunt when we arrived . Portions very small and not impressed with quality of food. Added on a 10% service charge and there was only two of us and the service was not worth it . Won’t be back really changed from couple years back.

First visit to Roma on Bath St , Glasgow.We visited due to location close to Royal Concert Hall as we had concert. Pre-Theatre menu booked , table was ready when we arrived and staff were excellent.Food and drinks were first class and not to expensive for evening meal. Would highly recommend and we will return when next in the area.

Lovely restaurant quick service good meal well pleased would visit again

Relatively small portion sizes for starters, main was Carbonara, menu outside advertises Italian style as an option (taken by me to mean whipped egg and cheese congealed onto the pasta as opposed to cream sauce) but upon asking for this was provided with a watery version of cream Carbonara, the waiter was perfunctory but replaced it with an average creambonara without fuss. The atmosphere was very good though, nice decorations and aesthetic.
