Luke warm when finally turned up, even tried to deliver or to next door! £16 for a cold kebab and fries, won’t use again.

Our order was 20 minutes late, therefore cold and claggy. The parmesan chicken did not have parmesan on it, I couldn't tell you what cheese they used. Everything appeared over cooked. Called regarding it being late and the manager said he wasn't in the store and to google the number. You could tell the manager wasn't in store because the food was awful. Used to be great but quality has definitely slipper downwards

Great food as usual - we will definitely be ordering here again. The food arrived 40 minutes before Just Eat let us know a courier was out for delivery (which happens every time we order from here). No complaints with the food, but would love to be told it's out for delivery when it's actually out for delivery!!

Really really disappointed!! Ordered food in shop and was sent link to pay.. made payment and allowed 10-15 mins for food to made. Went in to pick up food and was told they didn’t prepare food at all.. when asked why the manager said there was a glitch with system.. I calmly asked the manager to get the food prepared asap as I had paid for it.. the manager rudely told me to go away and order from somewhere else.. was also told they were going to refund my payment but still haven’t received anything

Portion size in the donor and chicken mix was so small ..handful of fries and could see the bottom of the foil tray ..I WAS a regular ..such a shame

Over the past we have spent a lot of money at rolling smoke, tonights order was , with delivery ect £28, for 2 dishes, arrived late and cold, the chicken and doner mix had very little fries with it, disappointed, the food from there is normally good

Ordered food at 7:30, delivery time was supposed to be between 8:25-8-45, received a notification to tell us food was on its was at 8:30. 9pm I rang rolling smokes and they proceeded to tell me the driver had left, the distance between rolling smokes and this address is 10 minutes, rang rolling smokes back at 9:35 for them to still proceed on telling food is on its way. It finally arrived at 9:40. Food was stunning but the delivery was abysmal and pathetic.

Our food arrived cold and 50 minutes late was supposed to be a lovely meal. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

Food was meh and cold, delivery time was the biggest joke. Over an hour and half late everyone I rang up kept getting told 15 mins.

Ordered the rice box and the red velvet. The service was quick however the red velvet was extremely dry - would not recommend (maybe is a rogue choice though!) Also the chicken and rice tasted like vinegar to me:( Can’t fault the service/delivery though. Just don’t think the food is to my taste

AVOID AVOID AVOID... ordered food from here several times and most times I've had food missing from order only realising after getting home that whole portion of chip and salad was missing. The last straw was finding a 6inch metal coil at the bottom of my chicken salad box that almost cut my mouth, called them to complain took ages to pick up the phone no remorse, totally unacceptable and will not be ordering food from here again as it makes you doubt the prep and safety of other food..complete shambles

I have ordered from this restaurant several times and it used to be really good. Just lately my order is always wrong, they forget part of it. On Saturday night the order didn't turn up. No one answered the phone. Had to go down to the restaurant and pick it up, and still the drink was missing. Absolutely diabolical. Answer your phone!

Deliveries are always 30/40 minutes later than promised. Food is always cold by the time it gets here. Again tonight ordered 20:05pm it is now 21:38 and still no food and they won’t answer the phone!!! Quick enough to take your money now provide the food

Ordered the food at 4.30 for delivery at 5.45pm, received update saying food had been delivered at 5.45pm when it hadn’t, rang the takeaway to be told the cookie dough machine had broken and they had just fixed it so the order was now on the way, waited a further half an hour and still no food, rang them again to ask where it was, was told it should of been delivered, then asked my address, then they said it was on the way…. Family had to leave without eating, food cold on arrival.

Order said it was on way took 20 minutes to get here. The order was missing the chips wouldn’t order again.

Late delivery but food was well worth the wait when it arrived. Polite delivery driver.

I’ve ordered from Rolling Smoke 16 times in the last 6 months , they always deliver on time & 90% of the time the foods been great . Sadly today’s food wasn’t great as the portions were very very small compared to the usual amount & the wings were scrawny & lacking in meat .

Great food and very quick to fix any issues. definitely order again. A restaurant that cares about their customers.

It was very nice, but order was wrong. Ordered a lamb parmesan roll up, but the one i got had no cheese, garlic sauce or hot sauce. It had peppers and pickles. It was still nice but not what i ordered, also ordered a can of pepsi but tango came. Would still give them another go

We ordered chicken sizzler wrap, chicken rice and chicken wings, which were all tasty and portions are very good. All staff are very friendly and super nice.

After a little bit of miss communication (were only human) our order was rectified and the food was absolutely delicious. Very spicy but lovely 😍 fast delivery and reasonable prices. The manager was great with fixing the issue with our order. Will definitely order again.

The recently introduced lemon and herb flavor (full chicken) has not met my expectations. I was unable to complete my meal due to its unsatisfactory taste. Overall, I am quite disappointed 😞

delivery was late rang they apologised saying had big order put in and was on the Catch up, waited patiently rang back now saying I missed delivery not a chance I missed it.

I had takeaway from this place twice (kebab tray) and both times the food was very nice. On the second time, unfortunately, there was a problem with part of the order and the service overall. When I got back home, I noticed a portion of chips was missing; so far not a big deal, I understand that can happen. I called the place to ask if they could deliver the missing chips but in the end they agreed that they were going to refund me instead; however after more than 5 working days there has still been no refund credited to my account. In summary, good food experience but poor customer service.

Delivery driver was fantastic, really nice guy. There was a mistake and we didnt receive something that we ordered so he said he would go back and get it, he arrived back quickly ! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Hugely impressed with Rolling Smoke. Live in London so have tried a wide variety of chicken/peri shops. These are up there with the best, will definitely reorder in the future when back in Ilkeston.

Food arrived 30 minutes after it said it was delivered, and took an hour and a half from when we ordered it to delivery. Lettuce in the salad had brown edges. Chicken ok, chips and onion rings cold & soggy. We won't order from here again.

Just had my first meal from Rolling smoke and got to say this is so much more than a fast food take away food. I'd even go as far as to say this is the best burger I've ever had. Great taste full of flavor and fantastic quality patty. Little bit more expensive than the regular take away but worth every penny. So filling too

I’ve ordered from here before and it’s been great, but tonight was poor. Chicken wings were pale, no sauce like usual, not crispy, and they were tiny. Won’t be ordering from here again sadly.

I have had food 14 times previously from Rolling Smoke & have given great reviews as the food was awesome fresh & tasty. However on my last order the chicken was so salty I had to really wash it before I could eat it & my partners chicken tikka kebab was almost half the portion size as it is normally. So not sure what went wrong May 21st but will try you again in the future based on my previous great experiences

First time ordering from here and the food was delicious! Delivery time quick to say we ordered on a Saturday night, packaging good, presentation very nice. Would 100% recommend this place, we are looking forward to trying other things from the menu

Food has always been amazing from here but past few months the deliveries have gotten slower (2+ hours), items are always missing from the order when it arrives, and no one ever answers the phone so you can’t call to tell them items are missing. Either seriously understaffed or taking on too many orders.

As a rule this place is absolutely beautiful but today it wasn’t I’m hoping it was just a one off.

Such a shame food is normally good quality but everything else has let this place down Second time I ordered online on thier own website was told would be 49 mins not a problem however the food did not turn up I contacted the restaurant and was told repeatedly its coming it's coming it's coming, new time came up online so waited patiently but however the food did not turn up again called the restaurant was told that they were busy and would be leaving teh restaurant in 5 mins I explained we ordered almost 2 hours ago no apology just told again we are busy will come in 5 mins I understand if places are busy but be honest with your times or don't accept orders and please sont be rude to paying customers fair enough if this had been the first time but it wasn't so will NOT be using them again Also our order was incorrect

I rarely leave reviews but the shawarma loaded fries were amazing, definitely some of the nicest loaded fries I have had.

Food was late, it quality and taste was out of this world. Good Value for money. Half roast chicken in hot marinade is the way forward
