AVOID AVOID AVOID... ordered food from here several times and most times I've had food missing from order only realising after getting home that whole portion of chip and salad was missing. The last straw was finding a 6inch metal coil at the bottom of my chicken salad box that almost cut my mouth, called them to complain took ages to pick up the phone no remorse, totally unacceptable and will not be ordering food from here again as it makes you doubt the prep and safety of other food..complete shambles

I have ordered from this restaurant several times and it used to be really good. Just lately my order is always wrong, they forget part of it. On Saturday night the order didn't turn up. No one answered the phone. Had to go down to the restaurant and pick it up, and still the drink was missing. Absolutely diabolical. Answer your phone!

Deliveries are always 30/40 minutes later than promised. Food is always cold by the time it gets here. Again tonight ordered 20:05pm it is now 21:38 and still no food and they won’t answer the phone!!! Quick enough to take your money now provide the food

Order said it was on way took 20 minutes to get here. The order was missing the chips wouldn’t order again.

Late delivery but food was well worth the wait when it arrived. Polite delivery driver.

I’ve ordered from Rolling Smoke 16 times in the last 6 months , they always deliver on time & 90% of the time the foods been great . Sadly today’s food wasn’t great as the portions were very very small compared to the usual amount & the wings were scrawny & lacking in meat .

Great food and very quick to fix any issues. definitely order again. A restaurant that cares about their customers.

It was very nice, but order was wrong. Ordered a lamb parmesan roll up, but the one i got had no cheese, garlic sauce or hot sauce. It had peppers and pickles. It was still nice but not what i ordered, also ordered a can of pepsi but tango came. Would still give them another go

We ordered chicken sizzler wrap, chicken rice and chicken wings, which were all tasty and portions are very good. All staff are very friendly and super nice.

Dreadful got 3 out of the 4 items wrong. Sent chicken so hot it set fire to my house

After a little bit of miss communication (were only human) our order was rectified and the food was absolutely delicious. Very spicy but lovely 😍 fast delivery and reasonable prices. The manager was great with fixing the issue with our order. Will definitely order again.

The recently introduced lemon and herb flavor (full chicken) has not met my expectations. I was unable to complete my meal due to its unsatisfactory taste. Overall, I am quite disappointed 😞

delivery was late rang they apologised saying had big order put in and was on the Catch up, waited patiently rang back now saying I missed delivery not a chance I missed it.

I had takeaway from this place twice (kebab tray) and both times the food was very nice. On the second time, unfortunately, there was a problem with part of the order and the service overall. When I got back home, I noticed a portion of chips was missing; so far not a big deal, I understand that can happen. I called the place to ask if they could deliver the missing chips but in the end they agreed that they were going to refund me instead; however after more than 5 working days there has still been no refund credited to my account. In summary, good food experience but poor customer service.

Just been and had a meal at Rolling Smoke, everything was excellent from start to finish, 10/10 the Kebabs were amazing, beautifully spiced. Thank you Hamza, great service too 👍

Delivery driver was fantastic, really nice guy. There was a mistake and we didnt receive something that we ordered so he said he would go back and get it, he arrived back quickly ! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Hugely impressed with Rolling Smoke. Live in London so have tried a wide variety of chicken/peri shops. These are up there with the best, will definitely reorder in the future when back in Ilkeston.

Food arrived 30 minutes after it said it was delivered, and took an hour and a half from when we ordered it to delivery. Lettuce in the salad had brown edges. Chicken ok, chips and onion rings cold & soggy. We won't order from here again.

Just had my first meal from Rolling smoke and got to say this is so much more than a fast food take away food. I'd even go as far as to say this is the best burger I've ever had. Great taste full of flavor and fantastic quality patty. Little bit more expensive than the regular take away but worth every penny. So filling too

I’ve ordered from here before and it’s been great, but tonight was poor. Chicken wings were pale, no sauce like usual, not crispy, and they were tiny. Won’t be ordering from here again sadly.

I have had food 14 times previously from Rolling Smoke & have given great reviews as the food was awesome fresh & tasty. However on my last order the chicken was so salty I had to really wash it before I could eat it & my partners chicken tikka kebab was almost half the portion size as it is normally. So not sure what went wrong May 21st but will try you again in the future based on my previous great experiences

First time ordering from here and the food was delicious! Delivery time quick to say we ordered on a Saturday night, packaging good, presentation very nice. Would 100% recommend this place, we are looking forward to trying other things from the menu

Awful place, awful customer service, tell you they will refund you then the next day refuse and tell you it’s your problem. Rude manager talks to you awfully. AVOID

Food has always been amazing from here but past few months the deliveries have gotten slower (2+ hours), items are always missing from the order when it arrives, and no one ever answers the phone so you can’t call to tell them items are missing. Either seriously understaffed or taking on too many orders.

As a rule this place is absolutely beautiful but today it wasn’t I’m hoping it was just a one off.

Such a shame food is normally good quality but everything else has let this place down Second time I ordered online on thier own website was told would be 49 mins not a problem however the food did not turn up I contacted the restaurant and was told repeatedly its coming it's coming it's coming, new time came up online so waited patiently but however the food did not turn up again called the restaurant was told that they were busy and would be leaving teh restaurant in 5 mins I explained we ordered almost 2 hours ago no apology just told again we are busy will come in 5 mins I understand if places are busy but be honest with your times or don't accept orders and please sont be rude to paying customers fair enough if this had been the first time but it wasn't so will NOT be using them again Also our order was incorrect

I rarely leave reviews but the shawarma loaded fries were amazing, definitely some of the nicest loaded fries I have had.

Food was late, it quality and taste was out of this world. Good Value for money. Half roast chicken in hot marinade is the way forward

The food was good but unfortunately I was sent the wrong burger, ordered smokin and received The original, star rating is due to the presence of tomato and the lack of cheese, disappointing and not what I would have chosen, but the food received was good quality, packaged nicely, to a high standard and delivered before time.

Was over 2 hours late, food came stone cold. Tried calling the restaurant numerous times with no answer. Eventually got through, he said they must of missed my order!

Everything was wonderful the loaded fries are amazing and the apple crumble is perfect

Food ordered at 6.45 - food arrived 9.30 . Fairly shoddy service all round. Request for refund denied, top tip for the owner, if you are busy stop taking orders, if you can't fulfil your area that you have programmed into just eat, then narrow your area. "We're busy" is not an excuse for a takeaway on a Saturday night. That's kind of your job

Almost a 2 hour wait for delivery. No answer when calling the restaurant. When the food arrived, the chips were cold. Refund requested but refused by restaurant.

Can't speak for the other food they do, but the burgers are absolutely amazing, and worth every penny. Prices are good and delivery always quick. Definitely our go to, for burger and chips.

Absolutely love this place. Not had a bad meal or dish. The attention to detail is fabulous. Loaded fries are a meal in themselves, wraps, kebabs, all good.

Really tasty burgers that arrived nice and hot. Only complaint was that the chips were a bit cold and stale like they had been made quite a bit earlier and kept warm. A shame as the burgers were really good. Would still order again

4 of us ordered food on a Friday night, the bill was 90 quid but wow. I had the stacker and the loaded fries which was amazing, no-one was disappointed with what they ordered. Well worth it and looking forward to this again.

Absolutely amazing quality, I had a Philly steak, gourmet beef and zinger burger, which was amazing, and their loaded fries are delicious, 100% recommend, will not be disappointed, also the owner is so kind and friendly!

It was cold the chips where overcooked and the pitta bread was doughy I expected more after only hearing good things about them!!

Portions are really good but sadly delivery took 1 and a half hours to get to me bare in mind I live up the road from the restaurant and the food wasn't exactly warm so if I was to have this again i would go and collect it
