I just tried their curry laksa. I wouldn’t say it’s the best curry laksa in the world, but it’s definitely one of the best you can find in Nottingham.

Valentines meal... Ordered direct , and hour and half delivery, acceptable . Not two hours and 20 minutes and no sign of food. Shocking service, ordered food and after 2hrs 30 waiting never turned up. Shops phone switched off so could not get an update. Very poor service.

Told food will be delivered and was still waiting over an hour for a small order, this is a consistent issue! If You can’t fulfill orders don’t run a business at all!

I love this restaurant. The staff are so helpful and friendly and acknowledge you as soon as you walk in.. my favourite dish is the sesame honey chicken which I could eat forever. The portions are plentiful and there's plenty of veg/meat ratio. Definitely try it , you will not be disappointed 🥰

2 hrs since I ordered my food still waiting ,Rang up to ask where it was to be told sorry we extended the time.if your delivery going to be over 2 hours please state it on your website.work nearly 12 a day not to be expected hours to eat,dirty hair on the chip ,half eaten prawn crackers and burnt chips.Not be ordering here ever again unless your local then your getting fast ,free of hairs and the rest !!!!!!!!!!!

1hour 25 minutes for delivery not good.

Waited over an hour for delivery. Food was luke warm and over cooked. Rang to complain & was told the meal had been freshly cooked - we live a 5 minute drive away & there's no way that food had just been cooked.

Thank you to the staff, we order occasionally on a weekend, have done so for years. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty, would recommend. The chow mein is always in a massive portion, loads of meat, we also love the sesame chicken and duck in black bean sauce as our usual.

If I could I would 100% without a doubt rate this a 0 star. I placed my order around 19:00 for 2 small-ish items (Chicken Hong Kong and a large egg fried rice) and had an ETA of 19:45-20:05. I waited until 19:59 for my food and it still hadn't arrived so gave them a call. They told me that they hadn't even started cooking my order and would start it. Also said this would take 30 minutes to be delivered. I waited those 30 minutes and gave them another call and again they said they were only just starting it. Again saying it would take 20 minutes to arrive. Waited another 45 minutes and it had finally been delivered. Hit 21:15 and the food arrived not even warm. Waited a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes for cold food. Absolutely horrible!

Not ordered for a year or so was in the area decided to collect definitely not what it used to be i had chicken fried race curry sauce chicken balls Hardly any chicken just rice the curry sauce was bland no flavour!!! Chicken balls were soggy and bland my partner said hers was just ok when u spend £37 and its rubbish 👎 definitely will not be going back ever

The chicken burger and chips from Oriental Chef were outstanding! The burger was juicy and flavorful, paired perfectly with soft buns, and the chips were crisp and golden. The quality was exceptional. Highly recommend their food!

Lived in the area for close to 40 years and have used this place since it first opened. Over the years it has gone from excellent to mediocre/poor. Just recently though, the food has once again become top-notch and hopefully they won't allow past slumps in quality to repeat.

Great takeaway been using them for few years now, they have great chinese food, very authentic with some unique twist, they have great customer service and our favourite has to be their Honey Chicken & Bao Bao Buns. Also their Cheesecakes are a winner! Great job guys.

Ordered meal for 1 person at 1731 told delivery 45 mins. An hour an a half later no food. I was hungry at 1731 when I rang. Told me at 1835 traffic busy another 15 mins. Told the same again 20 mins later. So I cancelled my order with Oriental Extremely disappointed. Don't give times for orders that are not going to be delivered on time, just be honest. I ordered chines elsewhere, eating it 15 mins later and it was very tasty

Delivery was excellent and in a reasonable time. Food, thrown in bin, couldn't taste anything but garlic. Had a few dishes and even when mixed tastes so garlicky. Thrown in the bin within minutes so disappointed. Wife's food was good though.

UNMATCHED Been using this chinese for 7 years straight and they have not failed me once. Great food, great value and always a friendly atmosphere when collecting. Guaranteed a perfect experience everytime I order, deserves a 5 star overall!

Really want to like it here... tried on and off for years, as like to support local businesses. Unfortunately, food experiences goes from good to bad to worse. Food cold. Boiled rice in clumps and cold *on numerous occasions. Poor quality chicken. Just no love at all put into the food. One person in particular... rude and abrasive if you say anything. Sadly, would not recommend at all. Using other take aways now.

Their bao bao buns are so good! It usually is busy but you must try if you’re in the area, they have so much menu variety to offer compared to other takeaways, and their food is all round superb.

The roast chicken was on top! The skin was crispy and the chicken was tender and flavour full. One of the best takeaways I’ve ever had, would definitely recommend.

For the £45 we spent the food wasn’t worth it. Food had no flavour and couldn’t even taste the chilli which is disappointing. It’s not the dishes I ordered as I have had the same dish at other takeaways with much better quality. Ended up throwing it away. Wouldn't recommend! AVOID!

3.1 rating is crazy. The food here is literally the takeaway version of expensive Asian restaurant food. Some of their signature dishes like the honey sesame chicken and garlic dynamite chicken are so unique and taste great. The bao buns are also amazing. When most people in this country order those awful shareboxes full of chips and carbs, just shows they have no taste when a takeaway actually offers tasty food and they review it so lowly. Deserves a 4.5+ rating at least.

Waited over 90 minutes for food, ended up having food poisoning from the salt and pepper chicken. Staff not polite over the phone. Please avoid

- Don't order Happy Family Had the Happy Family option. I ended up getting food poisoning. Wouldn't recommend waking up at 4am to vomit.

The food was great, i didn't really enjoy the noodles but they were good, but not great compared to the shrimps and the crispy beef. Sadly i couldn't eat it all, but the food was delicious

You food takes about 2 hours to be delivered, just be aware.

Absolute shambles. Waited 30 mins in the freezing cold reception for food that was meant to be ready at 5:55pm. Comes out at 6:27pm. No apology or comment, simply not good enough.
