Had the best night - Highly recommend . Great vibes immediately - music was so fun - we were dancing the whole night !

Great atmosphere Great fun immediately Cool lighting But just too loud Loud music is great But this was blaring out mid range and treble, punishing and ruining the hearing of all those who enter. Most people don't mind, but I recognise the difference because my dad was a sound engineer. Apart from that, The door staff were great, The DJ played some great tunes, Toilets were ok Drinks selection was ok but expensive

Unacceptably long wait for mediocre food - 45 mins for overcooked chicken kebabs and salad! Bottled Diet Coke was very odd colour and was tasteless - checked the bottle neck and beat before date was 22/11/22!!!! Needless to say won’t be returning

Went today again (08/04/2023) to try their new menu, one of the juiciest burgers I’ve ever had. Holly was amazing and the service was top notch, defo deserves to be paid more 🤣.

We were recommended this place by the younger locals in Broadstairs and they were right!. It’s on the harbour which was beautiful & lively at night, good music, bar staff were patient & friendly, decent price for drinks. A little cramped especially in smoking area but for £5 we had a wicked Saturday night.

Lovely menu, good choice of meze's, salads and mains. Staff super friendly and attentive. Set over looking the harbour with plenty of outdoor seating, I highly recommend a visit to this establishment.

I paid £5 entry and then £3 for a non-alcoholic drink and then walked outside to have a conversation but then security told me I had to finish my drink before I went back in. £8 spent but a miserable time spent in an empty bar

I would put minus 5 stars if i could.owner of this place is horrible person. dont respect any tourists. He was clearly said to us that they are "little family" and they not going to protect foreigners. Higly recommend to avoid this place!

Absolutely disgusted by this place we stayed at the oak hotel for 3 nights on holiday to be kept awake by stupidly loud music till early hours in the morning Friday night and Saturday night both my children couldn’t sleep holiday ruined by this place thanks a lot

This is a strange place to visit. I was told there would be no food until 5pm which is possible but I asked for a coffee and a desert. The desert was ok but I was charged nearly £9 for a coffee and a small desert. As far as I am concerned, I was ripped off. I will not go there again.

Over priced. Owner has a messiah complex. Table service being used as an excuse to give short measures.

Not so keen on this place. The COVID-19 extra sanitation was sadly lacking. The tatty much-handled menus were very off putting. The food was poor and it was over priced.

Pina colada that seems like a pineapple juice with milk in a cup full of ice!! No Malibu taste, no alcohol taste!!!!... My husband's cocktail was disgusting too for 8€ it should be better

Trip to Ramsgate. 4 days only. Had an amazing time. Visited Rokka everyday. Food, beer and service couldn’t fault it . Well worth a visit.

Situated directly opposite the harbour, good outdoor seating and nice bar inside. Seems popular with some of the younger generation but a good mixture of people and age groups. Ordered, a mixture of Turkish/Greek food, good fast service and portion size good. When its too hot you just need light but yummy food and this is a good place for it. Not a big menu but spot on for the summer days down the coast. Would visit again when back in Ramsgate.

Rokka has disrespectful staff!! MICHAEL is an absolute disgrace to their business! He spoke to me with such an attitude and a lack of professionalism!! He needs to be told how to treat his customers!!! Rokka is ridiculously over priced and small!! What a shame!!

Quick coffee with the family...

Five of us ended up here by chance today and ate delicious tappas platters. For dessert, the boss served incredibly delicious panna cotta and we were also impressed by the friendly staff. Thank you for rounding off a lovely day of vacation!

Excellent food! A family hangout place with live band and music. A place where family can chill out over a fantastic meal/drinks and listen to live singing. We love the spicy pizza, that's why we came back for more. Highly recommended!

I booked a party here and the manager nick was brilliant from the start. Good communication when booking and when leading up to the party date. When I arrived to set up the venue with decorations nick was there to greet me and got all staff helping to set up and make it look perfect! They went above and beyond to make the party run smoothly and was very helpful. I would 100% recommend rokka for party hire!

This cafe is awful. Rubbish customer service, crap Shisha and bad tea. I had expected at least a decent sized Sheesha pipe plus mint tea.

Had my 18th here last night, was an awesome atmosphere. Bar staff were excellent. DJ was brilliant and the manager and the owner were really accommodating. Definitely recommend this venue or club!

Super Mediterranean menu all beautifully cooked. Nice wines and an amazingly good Cappachino. All served on a sun soaked terrace overlooking the very lovely Ramsgate Royal Harbour.The chicest place to enjoy glGreek/ Mediterranean food in Ramsgate.

Hubby and I stopped for lunch here today. Sat in the sunshine, watching the world go by we could easily have been abroad! Food was great (a little slow BUT they were incrediby busy) Woukd definitely go back.

Very rude management who treat the staff, particularly women, like slaves. The place to go for drugs, don't know why it hasn't been closed down. I will never go there again and would advise everyone to avoid it.

I have visited here many times and had most dishes on the menu. Your staff are good especially Kitty who is nearly always on hand with a smile on her face. Well done Rokka see you soon

Nice little place, friendly staff and a fun crowd. Got a bit packed out because it was so busy but then that's what gave it such a great atmosphere.

Dull bar with staff who are lucky to have a job. The managements attitude are terrible and I'm surprised they are still in business. I would not recommend this place at all under the current management.

Mainly a night bar and as such should be taken with a pinch of Salt

I am a local and this has become my go to place if a want lunch outside in ramsgate. The staff and owner are always charming and go out of their way to fit you in, i turned up with about eight local friends one sunny Sunday who had never eaten there before and they moved tables and squeezed us in even though they were very busy. Food does not come out very fast but it's fresh and doesn't feel like its come out of a freezer. The chicken and pepper kebabs and feta salad are lovely. They even gave my dalmation meatballs off their staff supper one day, so he gives it 5 stars too, I only wish they did food a bit later. All my friends I took were impressed and have been back.

The staff working here have terrible attitudes. The food was also just average and there's no special. Rather go to any fast food chain and I'd have a better experience.

Could be beter than what i expect service was average and staff was NOT friendly I'm really sorry for that but you need to improve your service please.

So, what can you say about this place? VERY expensive for the platters - the surrounding places give you more for less money and it is better quality. This is a great late night place with loud music and dancing but it's not great for daytime food unless you fancy a coffee and really lite bite.

Witnessed two drug deals. Smelled of vomit, staff seemed dazed. Paid almost £20 for a thimble of wine in a jug full of lemonade. Asked for fruit and alcohol that was advertised with the sangria on the menu and got 3 slices of browning apple chucked in for my efforts. If rather prize my toenails off with a cro bar than go back to this wannabe Essex rip off silage pit. Terrible

It took more then 10 minutes to get a drink, I complained and felt like they didn't care. I can see why there was only 2 people in there.

I think the food here is mainly the heated, ready-made or deep fried from frozen variety, which is ok if you're not after a culinary delight. The view makes up for it really. However, this time we ordered taramasalata with pita bread. What could go wrong? Warm, cheap taramasalata and rock hard, burnt pita bread, that's what. Plus (and this is out of their control, I know) we were surrounded by smokers on both sides. The waiter was charming though. (Photo attached)

Just wanted to give Rokka a good review as my husband and I have eaten there several times and never had a reason to complain. We haven't been late at night, but lunch time or early evening when it's still warm. We order chicken skewers with salad and a jug of Sangria and sit with the sun on our face admiring the view of the harbour and people watching.Food, drinks and staff have always been spot on and would recommend.

Been looking for a place that does shisha in Ramsgate for a while now. Noticed on their facebook page that they did shisha so thought would give it a try - it certainly exceeded my expectations. Alot of places that claim to do shisha don't do it very well how ever I was pleasantly surprised.There is a wide selection of flavours, personally I went for the orange, or zesty orange as the waitress described it. It was very nice indeed. Me and my friend had a couple of drinks with our shisha and the service was lovely. I would certainly recommend.

Came here for a late lunch Sunday afternoon - planned to only stop in for a quick bite to eat (had been out shopping all day) and landed up staying until close!We had the duck pizza and it was simply amazing! The tall waiter tempted me into having some cocktails. We went for the amaretto sours and pina colada. They were with us very quickly which surprised me as the place was very very busy and my experience of cocktails has always been sat around waiting a long time for them. They were fresh and tasted sooo good! The pina colada was creamy and rich!!! We ordered some more cocktails after, including one of the pitchers.The only disappointed was that I had not been here sooner! Thank you Rokka for the experience we will be back very soon!

Stopped off for lunch the other day with a friend - great weather and we were looking for a relaxed stop to take a bite to eat.We ordered the Mezze platter to share, with some extra chips on the side (yes we were hungry). The food came quickly and was presented beautifully on the plate. I'm not a fan of trying new things, I know what I like and so I wasn't sure when my friend recommended the Greek food. I have to say I have never tasted food so good - everything was cooked perfectly and left me hungry for more. Every item of food on the platter offered a different taste, we really could not have asked for more.The service was outstanding, at one point the sun popped behind some clouds and without asking the very beautiful waitress brought us out some cozy blankets to keep us warm.The view across the harbour is stunning and provided a great back drop for lunch as we sipped on our cocktails. I have to say I will be back for the cocktails alone!The food, the service, the atmosphere it was just what we were looking for. The music was modern and suited the venue perfectly, no boring lift music! This is a must stop for anyone in Kent - I live just outside of London and would happily travel down to Ramsgate time and time again for this experience.

Great little bar after 10 Fri and Sat .

The service from the front of house was disappointing. Having been apart of the community for the last 25 years it seems an absolute shame that locals would be charged £5 on entry. Having spoken to 'NICK' (head bouncer) and being assured that girls get in free (even after 1.30 am), myself and my girlfriend were turned away and made to pay full price after being courteous as well as being assured a local discount. It is unfortunate when a bar looses its touch with its roots and charges locals entry, when the locals themselves are doing the best to support the business. 

Brilliant night for a hen party, 19.95 for 3 courses & a cocktail. Plus cocktails are buy one get one free 9-11pm. Staff really helpful & Service was good.... Thanks Rokka you made the bride to be's nightHighly recommend

We sat outside and enjoyed the evening sun whilst enjoying a meze sharing platter and a couple of drinks. We would go back again.

This is a good place, I have found, to sit outside - accompanied by a bottle of PG Rose - and people watch , gaze over the Marina and take in the afternoon rays..

We wandered down to Rokka on a Saturday lunchtime, just really wanting a simple lunch. We had medium expectations but the food that was delivered was great!It's really set up for a drink and snacks so the table set up is too tight for a meal, but after we'd asked them they put two tables together outside for us. It was a lovely sunny day and really nice sitting outside. We ordered a burger, two souvlaki chicken skewers and a fish finger sandwich. They were all great. The fish finger sandwich was particularly good value. The souvlaki was served with couscous and salad and was really well cooked, the burger came with fries and again lovely. The fish finger sandwich was really fresh fish goujons and nicely presented.We had beers and mojitos (brilliant presentation) and then some wine. It was a great lunch for four with drinks but a tad pricey at £84 for four - but we did have a few drinks. I'd definitely recommend it for a lunch.

Sunday 2/8/15 Rokka Ramsgate, very happy with the excellent service that we received, we chose 'nachos' beautifully presented, a generous portion, salsa to die for, this is the first time we have been here but it most certainly will not be the last time, we watched as other people's food came out, it all looked so divine and we can't wait to try other dishes when we return.The restaurant was clean and well presented, thank you for making us welcome

I recently went to Rokka on a night out with friends, the music playing was really boring for a Saturday night. We waited at the bar for 20 minutes and we kept being ignored, the woman behind the bar was only interested in serving the men and when my friend got her attention to say we had been waiting ages the woman rudely said we hadn't been there. Giving Rokka a second chance before walking out we went to their other bar, we were served almost immediately. However our simple order of archers and lemonade couldn't be made due to this bar not stocking it and we were told to go to the other bar. If a place which gets so busy is going to have two bars then they need to have a good amount of choice behind both not just one. Not happy with the service and won't bother going there again.

What better way to spend a sunny afternoon in spring, with a wonderful selection of Greek food to choose from a great menu, sipping a nice glass of wine or a tasty Latte, with a fabulous harbour view, a great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff, would recommend the home made very tasty burgers with a Greek twist and my wife's favourite, the Meze platter, relax, chill out and enjoy, just like being on holiday.

This is my favourite spot in Ramsgate -- food is absolutely delicious (I would personally recommend the Meze platter) and served by helpful and competent staff. The bar looks over the harbour and gets the sun all afternoon, so wrap up, order a hot cappuccino and make the most of the winter sun! You won't find a better place to spend your weekends!

This was a works Christmas do. Some of us had ordered Lamb Shank. Although some peoples were fine some of us had little more than a bone covered in fat. On showing the thick fat piled up on our plates, we asked if we could have a drink to compensate us. The drinks in this bar are above average price anyway. We were told that they would ask the manager. Nobody approached us again to apologise or anything. I later asked what the manager had said and was told they were too busy to ask!! Very poor disinterested service we won't be visiting again nor recommending this place to anyone. This ruined an evening I had been looking forward to.

Came here one weekend during the summer whilst visiting friends. They are regulars here so I've heard a lot about the place and I wasn't disappointed. It's a lovely looking bar, clean, expensive looking, more like something I'd expect to see in London, very different from other venues in the area and has a lovely food menu to match. We had such a good afternoon here that I would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I sat outside Rokka for an afternoon - 31st May. The sun was shining, the beers and wine flowed and we happily snacked on the Greek style food that was available from the menu - tzatziki, pitta bread, greek meze etc. We had a great time, just sitting outside chilling, and enjoying our afternoon without the kids! Service was good, food was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Only thing I would say....staff could have been a tad friendlier. Only a minor thing, but none of the waiting staff chatted to us or joined in any conversation with us, unlike the other people sitting around us - who were chatty, happy social etc. Would visit again though.

My husband and I visited Ramsgate for the Bank Holiday weekend. Rokka came up a lot on searches, so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We only had a light lunch but there's a lot of choice on the menu and good selection of wines. We sat outside, enjoying lovely views over the marina. We liked it so much that decided to come back that night. Definitely a place to be on a Saturday night! Even though it was busy, didn't have to wait too long at the bar to get served. The girl's bathrooms have a hairdryer and straighteners, which is a cheeky bonus. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area! They also have a branch in Margate, which is also in the excellent location

We booked Rokka for a hen night for over 30 people. They did a great job, the food was well presented and tasty, the staff were accommodating and helpful. The staff were really efficient and I was really impressed with how well organised they were. Thank you for a great evening our bride to be and her hens had a brilliant night.

We were recommended to come here from some friends so gave it a shot one sunny afternoon. We sat outside which was absolutely perfect and were really impressed with the décor of the restaurant, very trendy and very clean. We ordered from the Meze menu which we were told had just been launched, the waitress was really friendly and helpful and recommended which dishes to choose and boy was she right! Every single one of them was absolutely delicious!! All home made, freshly cooked and oozing with flavour!! My husband and I love Greece so this was a real treat to find this quality of Greek food in Ramsgate. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be going again.

Beautiful views if the Ramsgate Riviera ... Mediterranean style menu... Lovely cafe you could pretend you were on the Riviera when the sun shines get a table in front of the windows and you'll get a tan too!!!!

There's a lovely vibe to this place. Staff are very friendly, food is good and there's a great selection of drinks. If you like Strawberry and you like Ameretto then try the Playboy cocktail.. you will love it I promise! A very nice place to sit underneath the outdoor heaters and people watch - they even give you red cosy blankets if it's cold!

2 cocktails on a Thursday night came to 14 quid.. ARE YOU JOKING? They were also made wrong and found a what looked like a nail and long blonde hair in mine. I have brown hair. Ew. The barmaid and manager insisted that it was mine so I didn't get my money back: I paid £7 to be given someone elses DNA in my drink. Rokka is a joke. From the stinky cramped toilets that are always full of sick and middle aged drunk women flashing their bits. Once again. Ew.Sometimes is quite lively but to be quite frank I don't understand why. The bar staff are rude, the manager even more so, the music is crap and the doormen are just disgusting. If I'm on a night out with someone who is clearly my boyfriend then I do not expect dirty comments from old men. Actually scratch that I'd rather not have dirty comments at all! I once bought a burger and chips from here in the day.. The burger was cremated and the chips frozen. Not cool.Nice view. That's about all I can say. Don't say I didn't warn you.

We had our Christmas do here and the food was great and the variety of drink was huge.The only down side was that when the free bar had finished the price of the drinks was quite expensive but to be expected from a more upmarket cafe bar.

After a fantastic lunch here I will definitely be going back. The food was great and the service was too. Very friendly atmosphere with obvious attention to detail from the Manager which was appreciated. Decor - very nice, appealed to our London side. Loved the Ladies bathrooms - every girl will appreciate the GHD bar! This place stands out from the crowd and will appeal to those who appreciate style with substance!

Been here for drinks before and today we enjoyed a light lunch - service was excellent - choice was good - and the view of the marina is ace. - This is not off the card this is a simple menu - nothing was too much trouble - give it a shot.

Myself & a few friends spend most of August Bank Holiday Monday afternoon here. The service was great with a great view of the harbour whilst sitting in the glorious sunshine. I would recommend the Greek Meze for 2, which myself & my other half truly enjoyed. The harbour area is busy & vibrant & ROKKA always seems to be busy.

My husband and I went here for lunch a few days ago, the decor is nice and the waitress was very sweet. My husband had the chicken which was ok but I made the mistake of having the burger, it was so overcooked it was awful I tried to persevere with it, but after a couple of mouthfuls gave up and just ate the side salad and chips thinking that my 'dust bin' husband would eat it after hes chicken, normally he always finishes any meal that I cant eat! He took one mouthful and refused saying that it was way overcooked and inedible - there was me thinking I was just being my fussy self, hence not saying anything to the staff sooner! We told the waitress who called her superior, he was very kurt and almost rude, they did take the price of the burger off of the bill, but made me feel like I was trying my luck.I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN, in my mind if you cant even cook a simple burger without cremating it you have no hope, it would of been a bit more understandable if they had been busy, but they were very quite at the time.I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody.
