The food was pretty good. Service was awesome.We went on mother’s day afternoon. Although the buffet wasn’t fully available, they gave us a great discount. The atmosphere was very warm and family-friendly. I definitely recommend visiting this place. Thanks to the restaurant manager and the staff for the lovely evening we had.

Man l! food was so good its made me speechless. Will add more details after i have finished. I am still eating . Now that i have finished, the highlight was the friendly and hospitable staff. The beef was out of this world. so tender... but make sure you ask for medium or medium rare as some people like well done. Great experience. great, reasonable price. Highly recommend this place.

Be careful to use these cowboys for too good to go... used other restaurants to l work with my social conscience...these cowboys...just like ar distributing their waate.... Brazilian bbq and then give one tray ot salad and then a tray of onion rings...shame on you...you obviously don't understand foos waste and its principles...you claimed it was£15 of food... when it was pennies.... shame on you...ahame on you...are you are disgrace... anyway as you know corporation street had one tray of rubbish and second i returned....to a complete pile of excuses

Fantastic choice of food which were all delicious and unique and you could have as much as you wanted. All the food is clearly labled such as containing gluten. Service was on point and it was explained how it works when meat is brought to you, and there is a lot of meat choices to try! Beautiful atmosphere but can get a little loud when it's busy.

This is a restaurant that will not suit everyone (like me for instance) I’m not a huge foodie, (but i really enjoy a great meal), so a buffet of food that i have little idea of what anything is, or how it’s best matched, is a bad start for me. The concept of staff cutting meat at your elbow is i suppose novel, and some will enjoy it. I didn’t. If I’m going to pay that much for a meal, i want a good chef to lay out a plate of complimentary tastes and textures to create a great eating experience. What i got was a plate full of random stuff, with random meats thrown in every 20 minutes. I didn’t enjoy it, but i’m sure some people will. The food was great quality, but the meal i got was not. The obligatory 10% service charge at the end caused some confusion for our group when it came to paying and was the cherry on the top for me.

Came here for my birthday meal last week. I've been to birmingham one as well. Staff were really friendly. Food was cooked perfectly and the options of meat they had were great. I think having a smaller sides selection is better than having everything as that always overwhelming so liked that they had the main things. Staff even went back to get me more of the chicken thighs and cooked the steak more well done for. Definitely would come back again when I'm in Coventry.

I would only recommend if you never had rodízio before, it is ok only. I've tried throughout the years many different restaurants like this and I've experienced way better quality of meats and food quality and diversity on the buffet. Some meats tasted funny.. As well as some of the things being served on the buffet. I love the concept and understand that some cuts are meant to be eaten with meat, well, still red, and honestly medium rare is my jam, but bringing basically rare meat to the table is a no no, there is absolutely no taste to meat that doesn't have at least a grilled bit and no salt whatsoever. For what's it is charged I honestly expected a better experience. Should highlight, caipirinha was one of the best I've tried and our waitress, Brazilian lady, was really nice and professional and always checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Also, the best cut and most flavourful, Costela, have I not asked a piece of this cut, I wouldn't have been served, if visiting, be sure to ask, was tad too salty but amazing flavour.

The food is sooo delicious, you just can't stop. The service is great too, waitress was very polite and helpful. Definitely coming back again.

It's literally a all you can eat buffet, it's delicious, you can eat as much food as you want and the quality of the food is amazing! it's mainly delicious, except for the fact when they walk around to serve out the meat it gets cold and tough by the time they arrive at your table. 💀 But overall a wonderful resturant, worth the price, definitely going again! 🥰

First time here tonight. Couldn't fault a single thing. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. The salad bar was fresh, clean and had a wonderful selection of high quality foods. Once we went green we weren't kept waiting, the servers are really on the ball. We left feeling extremely relaxed and full. Will definitely revisit.

Staff were friendly and the buffet food was nice but the meat was extremely chewy and parts of the chicken was pink. Very overpriced, £12 for a cocktail and then on top they added a “brand fee” of £10

Fantastic food and staff, but it is pricey

I was very disappointed with my experience at Restaurant Rico in Coventry. The selection of meats and overall variety of dishes was poor, falling far short of what you would expect if you’re looking for the true taste of Brazil. For this restaurant to improve, I believe their menu, and perhaps even the service needs to be thoroughly reviewed. Unfortunately, as it stands, Restaurant Rico is not a place I would recommend for authentic Brazilian dining.

Staff didn’t no what a lager shandy was. Preferred the Birmingham restaurant a lot more.

I do feel a little rushed when I eat here, but it's understandable because they are offering unlimited meats. Food is amazing, definitely go if you want to eat lots of steak and other meats.

We enjoyed Rodizio Rico 👍 the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had no wait to get a table 😊 the waiter explained how it worked eating in that restaurant and the fact that you get a laminated beer Matt which is green one side and Red the other and all the time it is Green side up the chefs will come round and keep serving you meat until you turn it over to Red let them know that you no longer want to be served any more. There is a good selection of condiments and food and vegetables to accompany your meat which you can just help yourself to 😎

Rodizio Rico (pronounced Hojizio Hico if you wanna seem as culturally aware as possible) is a big reason why my wife and I have barely tried any other restaurants in Coventry. Rodizio is a Brazilian-style buffet where staff bring around cuts of meat to your table every 5 minutes and you decide if you want a piece. Now, contrary to what my astute social awareness would insist upon, the waiters serving the food won't take it personally if you decide you don't want the pork ribs (any dirty looks I've perceived have only been projected from my people-pleasing mind). After overcoming the anxiety of this new style of serving, you'll find a great deal of variety in these meats, and they're all pretty damn good. Personal favourite of mine is the chicken hearts, which are delicious and serve to make sure you obtain the bravery of 1,000 chickens (whom are more courageous than insults would have you believe). The salad bar goes beyond it's meager title. It is a buffet in itself, serving food way beyond salad. It has all sorts of authentic sides and mains. I would happily pay just to fill myself up here and have inadvertently done so many times before the meat comes round. I'm not one to be stopped by a full stomach though. It's great, anyways. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable and the place looks nice enough. The food is more than satisfying and that is that. I've said enough. Just check it out. The serving method is enough to warrant at least a preliminary visit before you make it your go-to restaurant.

I recently dined at Rodizio Rico in Coventry and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The quality of beef cuts was notably low, lacking the tenderness and flavor one would expect from a Brazilian steakhouse. Additionally, the pork served was subpar, and the service compounded these issues. The waiter served the meats across the table, leading to splatters and a generally messy experience, which disrupted our meal. Given the high prices, I expected a much higher standard of both food and service. Overall, the experience felt overpriced and not worth the cost for the quality provided.

This kind of reminded of an all inclusive resort on holiday, the meat servers can quite often and we didn’t need to look for them. The sides were okay, I liked the pasta and the chicken strips. I would have liked the meat to be more seasoned, most of it tasted similar. They also didn’t serve us any seafood or chicken. Just different types of beef and lamb. Would have preferred more variety in the grill aspect. But overall it was a good experience. I ate as much as I wanted and the staff were very nice and friendly. I’d definitely go back another time.

We were with a group of 40, the waiter was brilliant... he kept the drinks full all night and didn't miss anything despite large orders! The food was good, the freshly cooked variety of meats was very tasty. The buffet was okay.

Went here on a Saturday evening, the positives were that the staff were really friendly and the majority of the cuts of meat were tasty and high quality. The negatives were the salad and 'hot' dish buffet for your sides. The majority of the hot dishes had been sat there for a while so were only luke warm and some had really dried out. The salad options were OK but a lot of the options are pickled which was fine for me but my partner isn't that keen. If I were to go back, I would suggest going slightly later as we booked for 6:30 as before we left it felt like a larger variety of meats were being brought around and some of the hot dishes were replaced. Overall it was OK but didn't feel like it was worth the money, which is a shame as I went to the one in Birmingham years ago and had an amazing experience.

Quite average, really. Fobbed off with a lot of the cheaper rump cuts most of the evening, none seasoned in any particular way. Chicken was very dry, hard, and bland. A lot of the salad bar had been out a while and had started to get a bit dry on certain items. I'm not impressed with the forced service charge. This is not America! We are not a tipping country, so this should be optional ! I wouldn't bother with it again personally

The chef went ABOVE & BEYOND to make me a grilled vegetables, vegan & vegetarian plate!!!!! Food was delicious & service impeccable.

I'm going to go against the grain here. Friday night, the place was half empty. It was OK, nothing special. The salad bar was fine, although 80% of it was very carb-heavy and salty. The meat was hit-and-miss. Wafer thin slices. Some of it was great, the steak was alright, if incredible salty. Others, especially the lamb and pork, were so overcooked that most of it went uneaten. The cocktails were great. If we go again, we'll just pay less and hit up the salad bar.

On my latest visit the service was ok and friendly with different cuts meat being delivered continuously, however overall nowhere near the 5* service or meat quality experienced on my previous visits. Please can the quality and service be restored to its former glory, as £70+ a head and £9 for a draft beer is excessive for Coventry.

Delicious food, regular visits from meat server and a good selection on centre buffet bar. However, cheese bread and creamy polenta were not refreshed throughout our entire visit. Staff were polite enough. Didn't like that service charge automatically added to an already not cheap bill. Overall, would recommend.

Rip off People commenting it is amazing and all that. For £50 a piece of meat it better be and I hope they have the animal killed on the spot for that price lol

Good food, good service. Well stocked buffet and a good range of meats served at the table. The only thing that I’ve marked them down for is the 10% “branding fee” that was added on to what was already quite an expensive meal. These service charges etc really annoy me 😡

Knowing fantastic reviews from friends we were quite excited about going in. The room is beautiful and the settings are great. I can not prize the staff enough!! They were absolutely perfect from start to finish.. Unfortunately food was a big let down for us. Completely bland,no spices what so ever on any veg or salad. Meet - some of them were really hard to chew...I understand a concept of rare but ...... Cocktails perfect! It was a good night anyway....maybe we are not a Brazilian food conesoirs 🫣

Seated quickly, they were coming out regularly with meats but there was a full large table and a few smaller tables in front of our table and instead of carrying on where they finished with the meats and continued to the next table they started from the closer tables again meaning we were left with no meats or the ends. We left after 50mins as it was frustrating.

Very expensive Couldn't understand what person was saying when serving meat so didn't know what I was getting . Only warm food is the meat. No gravey for potatoes ect . Veg. A really lovely place with great staff and food. Would recommend going if you haven't been before, but I won't be going back. When I went, perhaps because it was quiet, there was a relatively limited selection available and a good half hour when food wasn't served to us despite having our green card out for more. Quite expensive too. Decent experience but a one off for me

Had a really nice meal, and the service was fab, went for our wedding anniversary and where given free drinks. all the waiters where so nice and they made sure we where OK. can highly recommend this place

I visited Rodizio Rico in Birmingham at Christmas, I was so amazed with the food that me and my friends and I would visit this branch, but unfortunately, the food was nowhere near to the standards of Birmingham branch, the buffet was stale, the staff was putting new food on top of old food. The colour of the chicken was very questionable and we were unable to eat. After such an amazing experience in Birmingham, we thought the food would be to the same standards. The staff was extremely helpful and nice but the food was not to the standards Birmingham have which is a shame.

Our server keisha was amazing, very attentive and made our anniversary very special by being so lovely and checking on us through out our meal. The chef Rossan was amazing, cooked the meats beautifully and was also very attentive to our table. Our overall experience was great. Thankyou to the team

High quality food but almost £40 per person for lunchtime even after we asked for 10% charge to be took away. Phones this place 3 times asking for price for Saturday lunchtime and got given 3 different answers and tot charged more than all of them when we paid.

Only took off 1 star as no grilled seafood was served. Went in on a Sunday for afternoon meal,our hostess Keisha was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. We were not rushed and the meats just kept coming to the table. Pork ribs, gammon, roast lamb, chicken wings & thighs were all awesome (don't eat beef so can't comment The Salad bar had a wide and healthy variety and was checked and refreshed regularly. Will definitely visit again, highly recommended!

We were 6 people (5 adults and a child) some of the dishes were almost raw, blood was leaking from some of the steaks. And at the end the bill was "inflated" by about 6 pounds plus the tip stopped us without being agreement.

We went on a Saturday lunchtime, and it was a little quiet at first. There are plenty of selections on the cold foods bar, the meats kept on coming, various meats and cuts. The staff were very friendly

Been here a few times now and is always on point! The food is always delicious and atmosphere welcoming and relaxed. I was served today by keisha who was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Was even given a free glass of Prosecco and desert for free for Mother’s Day. Had another member of staff doing magic tricks for my kids which they loved and thought that was a lovely touch. Defiantly recommend this place ❤️

Went today for a celebratory dinner with my mum. Absolutely amazing dinner. The food was amazing, the staff were very attentive and helped me navigate when it was my first time there and atsmosphere was very nice considering it was a very busy Saturday night for them. Im not even joking that withing 15 minutes of them, I had about 8 different types of meat offeref and on my plate, and it was heaven. Pricy for sure, but thats what you would expect for what you are getting. Definitely returning soon! 👍

Eye wateringly expensive. Could go abroad all inclusive for a weekend at these prices. Food is nice. But the cost of everything you'll need a mortgage. Avoid like the plague

Wonderful Experience! The best steakhouse we've ever been to in the UK! The service was wonderful, the receptionist was attentive, the guy behind the grill was very friendly and helpful. The meat was just right, and was cooked quite often. The coxinha was divine, the crackling was very crunchy and the mayonnaise was very seasoned! At the end, the person in charge came to the table, asked if we wanted anything else and then they sent the little heart and garlic bread (which was wonderful by the way 😍) In the end, everything was very good, very tasty!! It's VERY worth it, a beautiful representation of Brazilian steakhouses. Congratulations to the whole team 👏👏👏👏

Incredible place! The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the food is incredible! The garlic (beef I think) was fantastic. The salmon is also amazing! It comes with asparagus which you don't see often on all you can eat. Don't skip this place. Worth the money

Finally got here last night after years of being curious; my expectations were first met, then exceeded. The food was superb - it was hard not to fill up on the buffet bar with the many delicious options available, but I'm glad I didn't. The meats were gorgeous, served by friendly staff who were happy to cook a skewer of chicken hearts when I asked. Highlights: lamb leg, pork loin and beef fillet. Was also genuinely delighted when the staff overlooked our red cards to offer a treat that was a late addition to the menu - cheese-stuffed garlic bread! Prices are very reasonable for what you get; I'd heard about the service charge but it was more than reasonable given how hard the staff work to offer a great meal. I look forward to visiting again.

Staff were really friendly, meat overall was tasty but a lot of it was tough. Salads were just average nothing special or that flavourful if I’m being honest. The hot food really wasn’t hot either. Can’t say I’d rush back but might try the Birmingham one instead.

First class food, great range of meat cuts, fresh and juicy. The service is very good, staff is friendly and serviable. Great for solo serving, couple meal or groups of friends and social gathering. Would recommend and return for sure.

Be careful when you get the bill. Was promised 15% off for 18 people. It was never applied. Service charge was £86 never noticed until after I got home. Won't get caught again. Food was very good.

The food is amazing, probably one of the best restaurants in Coventry. I like foreign foods and this was definitely one of my favourite experiences, will be back for more. And this time I will starve for two day before hand because I would love to stack up on my plate🤣🤣

Loved the food here, I actually found a lot of the buffet items very flavourful too. The meat though is just divine! The atmosphere was great, well designed, soft music in the background. All in all a dining experience we'll not soon forget.

Awesome place. All you could eat for 2hours. Y’all need to experience this place. Limited menu options though but still amazing especially for meat lovers. The steaks were great.

What a fantastic restaurant and lovely idea, food was superb and so was the service, was my husbands 50th so he got a free drink and was offered a free dessert Served at your table with various meats on a skewer and a buffet in the centre to pick salad, potatoes, pasta. It is expensive however well worth it.
