I have to say I am not happy with how the restaurant has gone completely down hill. I came last Friday night 23rd of August and I ordered the Brazilian bbq, my wife being Brazilian always loves to go for a chuhasco but on this night we were both dismayed. The salad items were not fresh and my wife pick a pao de quejo but it was rock hard and had some sort of jam inside, then I had to ask the manager to bring meat to our table because we had sat there for over 10 minutes and no-one came over with meat. Then when it was brought over the meat tasted like it was old and had been reheated as there was no juiciness to any of the cuts of beef, the sausages were slightly burnt and not very nice. The restaurant didn't over very many cuts of beef and the whole experience made me feel like I do not want to ever return to a preto again. I told the waitress to take off the 12.5% service charge because I didn't receive the level of service worthy of any tip. I only wish that preto would go back to the way it used to be when they had restaurants in Kingston or a year ago in Putney.

Sadly not worth the money ……. & we were really looking forward to this. Visited with family, but the chicken was served raw / a lot of blood flowing freely from it - it really didn’t make us feel secure here! Generally overpriced for what it is - it’s a nice idea but it doesn’t execute well…

We came on a Friday evening before a theatre trip, only one other table of 2 people sat down when we arrived. The salad bar with the chips rice etc was lovely and fresh, really tasty! Some of the meats were nice but I’m talking like 3/10 meats, most were chewy with no flavour which was a real let down! Most of the meats were fatty too! Drink’s menu offers Pepsi but we had a warm can of coke with an ice cube in a separate glass. Would we return? No, but the service was good!

Visited here on a recent trip to London and was not disappointed. We arrived at 7pm on a Monday night and the restaurant was near on empty, we were told to pick a seat and our orders were taken quickly from a friendly waitress. The buffet section with side dishes was fairly small with basic offerings but everything was really nice. The mash potatoes inparticular were really creamy and tasty and I enjoyed the rice and polenta. The meat is obviously the star of the show here and this was bought around at fairly regular intervals. The young man serving the meat that night looked a little miserable and mumbled what the meat was every time he came to the table, on several occasions we had to ask him to repeat what he said as we didn't hear him but other than that, service was fine. The meat came out hot and fresh and was very tasty. We tried a variety of meats and whist we of course had our favourites, there was nothing unenjoyable served to us. We were too full for dessert but we did fit in a couple of cocktails each which were lovely, the lime caipirinha especially was incredibly nice, neither of us had ever had one before and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Two grills, 4 cocktails and the 12.5% service charge came to £113 so not the cheapest of meals but we did leave very full and happy with our experience. Would definitely come back if in the area again in future.

I visited with my wife for dinner, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly host. The food was really good and the gentleman cutting the meat at our table was so polite and friendly. The meat selection cut at our table was great, the food was all fresh and tasted amazing. The cheesecake for dessert was beautiful and washed down with a well made Pina colada.

Wouldn't come back personally, some of the meat options were good so as their normal steak and chicken, but I just don't think it was worth it. The garlic steak was so chewy I had to spit it back out on my plate I couldn't chew through it. The salad bar/buffet was good but just really basic and I mostly filled up on the chips when I was there as I didn't enjoy the many meat options. Staff were really nice though and so was the decor

Come here all the time. We all love it. Me, kids, Wife. Always good service and very attentative. The quality of the food is very good.

Really enjoyed our visit. The salad bar has lots of great choice that you can add to your plate to enjoy alongside the succulent tasty cuts of meat that are brought to your table. This is a dining experience that shouldn’t be rushed. Don’t be tempted to fill your plate. Would recommend only taking small portions of the accompaniments and pace yourself for a leisurely evening. That way you can sample more of the meats that are offered. Friendly staff. There is a service charge which we were happy to pay as we had a great meal.

Pros: - friendly staff - nice decor - all you can eat - there are some nice steak cuts Cons: - extremely expensive!!! - £3.40 for a CAN of 330ml tango + 12.5% service charge on top - a meal for 4 during their Wednesday 241 deal and 5x soft drinks cost a whopping £94 including their pre discount service charge of over £17!!! - the chicken given was raw - the gammon given was raw too - most of the meats taste pretty much the same and it gets incredibly boring very quickly. Lots of the meats are severely dry and over cooked… or… way too undercooked! Would not recommend!

Esperava um pouco melhor,espaço parece que foi recentemente remodelado ,muito bonito com cores lindas ,casa de banho muito limpa ,adorei esse pormenor …relativamente a comida os frios do buffets estavam bons ,os quentes deixaram muito a desejar ,pouco sabor na comida ,havia o feijão preto e outro feijão branco estava mau ,as carnes que vieram a mesa estavam aceitáveis mas deveria passar mais vezes com picanha e entremeada ,galinha passou 3/4 vezes salsicha 1 vez ….no final para pagar a conta o sistema não funcionava ,colocamos 3 cartões diferentes até que chegaram a conclusão que era problemas de internet ou sistema não sei ,incomodativo esperar tanto para pagar e acabamos por pagar por transferência bancária (nada normal para um restaurante) enfim …nao sei se lá voltaremos

Fui a Londres a passeios e os amigos me convidaram a jantar no Preo Stackhouse, uma verdadeira decepção, tinhamos que ficar implorarando para comer carne... So queriam empurrar frango e linguiça... Era melhor ter comido um Kebab... Nao percam vosso tempo e dinheiro, passa longe de um churrasco brasileiro.... Eu nao voltarei a esse lugar...

We had to order our sides 4 times as they kept messing up the order and we still only in the end got about 1/4 of what we ordered. One of the staff tried to argue with my husband that the bread we ordered takes 20 minutes to prepare despite us ordering it 90 minutes prior. Mainly beef being brought out, no lamb, some chicken and pork sausages. Had to help ourselves to table water as asked for it twice and not brought. Also asked for salad dressings and of course not brought and had to ask the neighboring table to use theirs. We opted for a buffet as mu husband had just run the London Marathon and he left hungry. The manager, when we eventually managed to catch him did give us 50% off and apologized for the horrendous service.

the restaurant smelt of raw sewage when i asked for the ladies they told me it was out of order and use the disabled toilet on the ground floor which was filthy and smelly had a chair pressed against the door to stop it opening. there was a note in the men's toilets saying not to flush toilet paper obvious this restaurant should have been closed & problems with the sanitary system sorted as the smell was gut retching. As for the food all the meat apart from the lamb was covered in salt 24 hours later i can still only taste salt. very disappointed worse £ 77 i have ever spent please sort out your toilets before u get closed down. maria

Terrible experience! Just to start, this was the first time I've been to a Brazilian Steakhouse Rodízio that doesn't have a buffet. The lady said: We don't have one, but you can choose anything from the menu and it's include on price. Wife asked for feijoada and I asked for Cheese Bread. The feijoada was tiny and the cheese breads only came in 3 small units. They want to save as much as they can by serving you. Even with the establishment full, the meats took a long time to arrive (Brazilian Steakhouse Rodízio always work best when they are crowded) and the variety was pathetic. Even the freezer at my house has more variety of meats than this place. It was frustrating. It was our first and last time. Remembering that an experience to be legitimately Brazilian requires impeccable service and quality because Brazilians are extremely demanding. Calling this place a Brazilian steakhouse is a big joke and at the same time an insult to true Brazilian steakhouses.

Meu Deus! Que decepção… Não se iludam com o rodízio de carnes, fazem o cliente cansar de esperar pelas carnes. Reclamei do rodízio, mas não resolveu nada… Passaram só mais 3 vezes com as carnes que eram de frango e porco, mas carne vermelhas que pedimos ficou só na vontade. Gastamos 70.00 pra nada, talvez tivéssemos ido no Wagamama na frente que teríamos ficados felizes. Dois meninos do rodízio fizeram um bom atendimento, os outros pareciam desmotivados… Estou tão p u t o com esse lugar que até cansei de pensar neles. Quem quiser arriscar a ir boa sorte, depois não reclamem… Só uma dica para vcs pensarem sobre ser bom ou não o Preto de Putney… A dica é: Preto de Kingston Upon Thames já fecharam as portas. Had to update my previous review as this place has had a serious downgrade since we last visited. Post covid buffet is permanently removed relying on the extremely rude waiters to bring you your order which beats the purpose of the all you can eat. Meat was good on the day we visited and that's why im giving it a 2 instead of a 1. Preto needs to step its game up, return the buffet and hire the right people. Not worth the visit!

We'd been to this restaurant many times!During covid times it was our first visit, and well worth it! Meat quality is top quality, in this scheme eat as much as you like, both meat and Buffett food that now in covid style, you need yo order but can repeat order as many times as you like.I recommend the chicken thighs, gammon and chorizo, although "picanha" (sirloin) and "lombinho" (tenderloin) were also so good!I had cream caramel as pudding, and can't forget to mention, drank the famous "guaraná" which is a typical Brazilian softdrink, famous for its stimulant effect.We're regulars at Preto for years now and they're managing to prioritise quality of service and food even in these challenging times! Comida normal en el mejor de los casos, a pesar de tener tarjetas de residencia en nuestra mesa, el mesero Haniel pasó repetidamente junto a nosotros, cuando se dignó servirnos fue con muchos ojos en blanco y una actitud en general apestosa, cuando pedimos la cuenta a pesar de que teníamos mostramos nuestros códigos en la entrada, esto tenía un precio completo, cuando se lo señaló al miembro del personal, nos dijeron "bueno, yo no estaba aquí". Personalmente, no recomendaría este lugar a nadie. Ciertamente diría que su cargo de cobertura debe revisarse para un servicio tan pobre

Mi pareja y yo estábamos en Londres en una visita desde el norte y era su primera vez en Londres. Vimos el restaurante y no podíamos creer el concepto. Como soy un gran amante de la carne, reservamos. Entramos y nos explicaron el concepto con la tarjeta roja / verde y ¡nos fuimos! Muy buenas medidas de Corvid. . . personal amigable. . . una velada increíble que nunca olvidaremos.

La comida estaba bien, no la mejor. La mayor parte de la carne estaba demasiado cocida, las opciones de buffet no eran excelentes. Las brochetas de carne solo salieron dos veces durante nuestra sesión, ¡pero nos ofrecieron muchas salchichas!Por el precio completo, elegiría omitir este lugar y optar por un restaurante brasileño más auténtico. Teniendo en cuenta el clima, el aire acondicionado estaba apagado, por lo que significaba comer mientras se secaba el sudor (¡imagínese el sudor que gotea de los servidores de carne! No es agradable). Teníamos la oferta del 50% pero nos cobraron de más y he oído que esto sucede con bastante frecuencia. No volveré a cenar aquí ya que hay restaurantes brasileños mucho más bonitos y auténticos.

De sobremesa o musse de maracuja estava muito azedo! Pelo preco nao compensa a visita!

The restaurant was around the corner of my hotel. A variety of starter brazilian salads and vegetables for ca. 20 £ and a full amount of roasted, grilled etc. beef for another 2 £ was a good choice!

The food here was great. Would highly recommend the black bean stew. There was a good variety of well cooked meat and the staff were great. Come hungry and make sure you make the most of the buffet.

I am a fan of some Brazilian barbecue and their beef cuts. I have been to other restautants of the same franchise and always been happy. On this particular one I was left disappointed by the all experience. To start with we used a groupon voucher and the staff at the restaurant did not seemed very happy about it. We were a party of 6 (2m 4f). The meat was scarce and we needed to call the meat waiters that were sometimes avoiding our table. In the end they were only giving us overcooked meat to the point that was dry and hard to chew and the waiter kept filling my plate with that rubish even when I told him to stop and the meat was dry. He jokingly said that it was the perfect way to cook it, ignoring that I am used to this kind of food since my childhood.When I tried to raise the issue with their manager, there wasn't one to speak with me. Apart form the meat, the service was also quite slow. There was an Italian waiter that was very friendly and tried to salvage the operation but it was too little too late.The buffet food was great, looked fresh and nothing was missing from it but that is not their major selling point.Other major issue was that the restaurant closed at 11pm and from 10 pm despite having sone tables eating they started cleaning the place, sweeping the floor and cleaning the tables right next to ours and other patrons. They still offered meat after that but we could see that the kitchen was already being cleaned so we declined that I asked for the bill with the last round of drinks still missing.I still recommend Preto but will definetelly avoid the Putney venue.

En Londres para un viaje de negocios y sin saber dónde comer, pregunté al reservar una entrada de cine y me recomendaron probar este lugar. Muy contento de haberlo hecho! Nada que comparar con el lugar donde vivo, ni he probado la comida brasileña, así que no puedo garantizar la autenticidad. Lo que puedo decir es que las carnes estaban muy bien cocinadas y condimentadas, la ensalada, etc. era sabrosa y el precio parecía razonable (para Londres).

As a Brazilian I struggle to find good, “taste like home” food and this place nailed it. The meats are well seasoned and tender plus you can beat the price. Totally recommend it.

Este churrasco tiene carnes y ensaladas a excelentes precios durante el almuerzo de lunes a viernes a mitad de precio 12. La carne era buena y fresca, mientras que el personal nos sirvió 8 veces hasta que estuvimos llenos. Definitivamente recomendaría este restaurante de lunes a viernes, pero no sé sábado a domingo ya que los precios se duplican. Puedes encontrar lugares para comer en Putney, pero ningún restaurante ofrece un descuento tan bueno en la buena comida a la hora del almuerzo.

Tuve un mal comienzo y empeoró. ¡Asignó una mesa que al menos nos decía dónde estaban los inodoros, podía olerlos! ! ! En cuanto a la comida, la ensalada obviamente había salido mucho tiempo, la carne estaba bien para ser justa y fiel a su palabra todo lo que quisieras, aunque no tan variada como otros restaurantes brasileños que he estado, como Viva Brazil. Mucho dinero por lo que obtienes.

My husband and I decided to dinner with the traditional “Brazilian Churrasco” however the meat was tasting rancid characterize the oxidized flavor. Staff served us 1 or 2 times but didn’t come back. To pay the bill we had to go to the cashier directly because nobody gave us attention. unfortunately I don’t recommend this restaurant. you can find better places to eat for the same price. Please, It a Brazilian restaurant but I don’t deserve to dinner listening to a such loud Brazilian funk music.

La experiencia horrible y el personal tiene miembros que apenas hablan inglés. Fui a almorzar y tuve una de las peores experiencias de servicio al cliente. Me prometieron que habría salchichas de pollo aquí e incluso lo confirmé con la señora que trabajaba allí y ella dijo que sí, habría salchichas de pollo. Cuando le pregunté a la persona que traía la carne, dijo que no había salchichas de pollo, lo que limitó mis opciones a solo 2 platos que no son de cerdo (no como parque).

Saw this Brazilian Steakhouse just after crossing Putney bridge on No 74 bus. We were looking for somewhere interesting to eat. Never been to Putney before. this Rodizio Preto look most inviting. We we so warmly greeted. The help yourself to unlimited salads and hot sides was explained and most importantly that we would be served an array of succulent skewed meats - beef steaks, lamb, chicken, pork, sausages by our friendly passadoro. Truly wonderful meal. Quite a new experience for us, and so glad we just followed our instinct and jumped off the bus when we saw 'Brazilian Steakhouse'!!! Wonderful. Will certainly return when we're visiting the capital in future.

I went with my boyfriend in this restaurant, is the second time I come back also the last time wasn’t the maximum but much better than yesterday... the meat was grey and tested old , I asked for pao de queijo and I was so disappointed because I wanted that for a while and is was horrible!!! Dry and tested old as well !! We spent 60£ for nothing .. !! I’m really disappointed! I don’t think I ll come back there anymore and I don’t think I ll gonna suggest to someone that place .

Churrascheria di alto livello, provata sia a pranzo che a cena, buona qualità del buffet vegetariano e per finire il personale è giovane e accogliente. Sicuramente tornerò!

Went in and had both the meat and the veggie buffet. The pasta and rice were great! But the meat in itself was not the best. If I was to go again I would stick to the table buffet.

All you can eat top quality meat. We enjoyed a wide range of everything on offer. My favourite was the Brazilian beef and the peppered steak. We also had a delicious caipariniah. I loved the way we were asked how strong we wanted it to be. Superb service and a lovely free shot to finish the meal off.

Le restaurant est bien placé, à l’angle de la grande rue . La viande est très variée et succulente. Le service est rapide et on peut être débordé si on n’est pas vigilant.

I came to this restaurant with few friends, we have purchased some vouchers on Groupon and we'd like to try something different, honestly I neve seen something like that in my entire life, basically the waiters walk around with meat skewers and slice those one that you choose.

Preto, promotes itself as a Brazilian Steakhouse. The deco doesn't exactly shout out Brazil and it's all a bit Plastic and souless, but the staff are professional so that's a positive.

My friends and I were in Rodizio Preto yesterday, we had an amazing time and we were very satisfied with the restaurant vegetarian options ;) we will definitely head there soon and we will take more friends 🙏🏻

Fui allí hoy - domingo por la noche con mi esposa y mi hijo. Esperaba una barbacoa de excepción, pero desafortunadamente no fue así. La carne estaba seca, recocida y muy pocas opciones. La barra de ensaladas no tenía ensalada de papa, farofa, palos de palma, nada como una auténtica barbacoa brasileña. He estado en varias barbacoas brasileñas y soy del sur de Brasil, donde originalmente comenzó la barbacoa. Estoy dando una mala calificación debido a una mala calidad de los alimentos.

Fui a este asador brasileño y superó mis expectativas.

Simpaticissima esperienza in un ristorante che con un prezzo abbordabile per tutte le tasche (pensiamo che siamo a Londra e che abbiamo la sterlina contro) offre la possibilità di servirsi al buffet ed avere a ricarica continua carne brasiliana alla brace di ogni qualità. In coppia o in compagnia non fa differenza. Personale giovane ma molto accogliente e gentile. Cartellino STOP SONO PIENO..... a vostra discrezione!!

Tenía el buffet del almuerzo para 6. 95 más un 25% de costo adicional, que, considerando su autoservicio, son mesas de madera sin mantel, pan o mantequilla.

A friend recommended this to us, based on the fact that there was a promotion of Eat 2 for 1, which I have to say is about right.

Mi and wife we decided to try ..we are from Portugal and in some way is food that we like. But the food was so nice..the sides were so good..fried Banana..brazilian beans . the meat(rodizio) was delicious . very well seasoned . different meats with diferents flavours. I tottally recommended. Amazing and in some moments you fell that you are in brazil. Well done

We stopped here for a late lunch and had the buffet for £6.95 each which was excellent value given the quantity and quality of food on offer (you can have as much as you like). It is £10.95 if you add the meat, and the prices are higher in the evening.

Pertinho do Victoria station, comida deliciosa, atendimento nota 10, vale muito apena. Ficamos 3 dias em Londres e comemos no Preto todos os dias.

Went there after a while, I remember that I always had a great meal with nice and friendly service, at this time I was a little disappointed not for the food of course, unfortunately there were no service, they only came one to ask which order I wanted to do and that was all.

Esto fue una sorpresa. . . Ensaladas en abundancia con todo lo que puedas comer. Si te gusta la carne, este es el lugar para estar. Filete fresco a la parrilla, salsages, pollo, cordero?

good food ..... but the service is very poor and useless in my opinion. My boyfriend and I arrived at the restaurant around 4.30pm. empty restaurant it was just us and another table. I understand that the restaurant is based on self service. but then I do not understand the figures of the waiters if to order I had to get up and go to the bar, to ask for clean dish I had to get up, to order a bottle of wine I had to go to the bar while seeing the waiters laughing and joking among themselves. and then none of them ever cared to know if the food was good and if we were happy. I do not think we'll be back. and I'm sorry for this.

Overfylte lokaler og veldig mye støy. Betjeningen kunne ha vært hyggeligere. Anbefaler buffé hvor du kan forsyne deg av ulikt tilbehør og får servert grillet kjøtt ved bordet så mye du ønsker. Artig opplevelse. Kjøttet var varierende, noe var mørt og godt, noe seigt og smakløst og mye var litt for blodig for min smak.

No meio de Londres, encontramos um lugar muito bom pra quem tem saudade de comer um feijãozinho... Comida muito boa e staff super atencioso e simpático! Recomendamos :)

It was our first time at a Brazilian restaurant and it was really very good. The food was fresh and tasty the waiter came with skewers with different meats every so often. The sirloin & the rump were delicious The salad bar was also plentiful with a good choice. The staff were very friendly. Overall it was a great experience maybe just little too pricey for what you got. But we came out of the restaurant feeling full and happy. We will go back.

We’ve decided to give place a go. First impression was great as menu was saying about great meats served by waiters etc. However disappointing moment came fast when they came to serve meat at our table and you could see chicken covered in small frying oil bubbles. Even steaks are deep fried and then served. Apart from that waiting stuff doesn’t have a clue what kind of meat they serving apart from difference: chicken or beef. Also buffet is quite poor. On top of that our visit was ruined by massive group few tables down which probably was birthday celebration, noisy, drunk etc.

Came for dinner here the other night for the second time after 2 years and it was exactly how I remember it, beautiful service and beautiful food.

Locale mai provato in Italia. Fantastico. Accoglienza ok. I menù sono 2 con o senza carne a servizio completo ma con solo 2 lst di differenza fate quello con carne. Carne buona e diversa con sapori interessanti. Consigliato.

Estive em Londres em setembro de 2017,passei meu aniversário lá.Meu guia me levou até esse restaurante.Muito legal e com cara de restaurante brasileiro mesmo. Boa comida,ambiente descontraído.Banana frita,que eu não comia aqui no Brasil há mais de 20 anos,fui comer lá.Caipirinha deliciosa,sobremesas variadas.E o preço é bom,não se gasta muito para se comer bem.Quando voltar a Londres,voltarei ao Preto.

Para quem estava com saudade da comida brasileira, o Rodízio Preto é muito bom! Com excelente atendimento, funcionários falando português, oferece o feijão com arroz, todas as carnes do churrasco brasileiro! Preço muito bom para as crianças, todavia um pouco puxado para os adultos, mas vale muito a pena para quem estava com saudade da comida brasileira.
