The burger was disappointing and led to throat discomfort, likely due to poor-quality oil. Overall, it fell far below expectations. The wings had an off-putting smell, and the burgers were among the worst we’ve ever had. Given the positive reviews from others, it seems there are serious consistency issues and a lack of quality control. I hope this feedback prompts necessary improvements to your system.

Disappointed. I usually enjoy food from this restaurant when my friends bring it for me, but this was my first time ordering for myself, and the experience was far from pleasant. I called to place my order and, since I wasn’t familiar with the menu, I had trouble identifying the dish I wanted. The person on the phone sounded irritated and unhelpful, but I did my best. I mentioned I would arrive in about 40 minutes, and he vaguely responded with something about calling back at 5, which left me confused. On my way there, I didn’t receive any confirmation or notification, so I assumed I needed to order again. When I arrived at the restaurant and started placing my order, the staff rudely interrupted me, reminding me that I had already ordered by phone. I asked if my food was ready, but instead of answering my question, he repeated, “You ordered by phone,” with a clear attitude. The lack of basic communication and courtesy made an already confusing situation much worse. To top it all off, after I picked up my food and started walking out, I overheard the staff immediately gossiping about me as if I wasn’t standing right there. A grown man couldn’t even wait for me to leave the shop before talking about my order. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating. I can understand why my friends don’t go there anymore. The food might be decent, but the poor customer service really ruins it. The staff need to learn how to treat customers, especially those who may be ordering for the first time. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Food is very delicious and always fresh. The portion size is very good considering the price. The wings are nice as well (although they are most of the time out of stock - this has happened numerous times). Overall good atmosphere with plenty of seating available upstairs and downstairs. Highly recommended!

Don't listen to these food reviewers, waited half an hour for a chi burger meal, it wasn't even busy, guys were coming through the front with rubbish passing the food prep area and food counter to throw rubbish in a van parked in front of the shop. Then these same guys start handling the food without washing there hands. Tables were dirty. Can't even call it a chi burger as there was hardly any chicken between the bread. Just tasted of bread and mayonnaise. Look at the pics. Also at £5.60 it is the most expensive in the area. Don't waste ur money go to shake bee, Miami's or phat lads who give u a massive thick fillet bigger than the bun. This by far is the worst chi burger I have had in a while. Avoid if u don't want food poisoning

my favourite burger shop in the whole entire world but the service is just so slow you can be waiting for ages and they mess up your order a lot too so always double check before you leave!

Not too good not too bad but they got our order wrong twice and it took forever to get the right order and when they got it right they didnt give us any drinks when we paid for them

Shocking service, mediocre food and imbecile staff!!! Phoned my order through to be picked up in 10-15 minutes. When I arrived was asked to wait another 5 minutes, wasn’t until another 20-25 minutes when people who had ordered walking-in after me had started getting their food. I inquired about my order and was given a cold response by the staff at counter. It wasn’t a special order, a standard chicken burger at a chicken shop. If they can’t deliver that then you can lose all hope.

been their customer since they opened but last 2/3 times food quality was horrible the staff just waste time talking around while their is a long que of customers waiting for their food. I order a spicy burger meal the guy gave me a fillet that was sat there for 25 minutes fries went cold had no salt on it ask them to give me from the fresh filets the front guys start having a discussion saying that i was wrong its fresh when it wasn’t. Five of us walked in and we had to cancel our order because we were told that the toilet is our of order. How can someone have a two storey restaurant and have no toilet available for the customers, I find that disgusting and will never step in again. This is not a once off thing my nephew told me that he had the same experience some weeks ago. I really question the hygiene level of the place as well as the staff .

This is my most favourite takeaway in Manchester. The service is quick, whether it's busy or not. My go to food is the chicken and cheese chips, it's so much in a box. It can easily feed two or more people, for only 5.50 . My mum always sends me to get her chicken, cheese chips almost every week. Every Saturday I come back from mosque and me and my friends go and get our food from here. If you have kids I do recommend going here as the workers and staff love it when kids are here. If you are short on 1.00 or less they will let you off, sometimes even more. I most definitely recommend going here.

Delicious wings they slid off the bone. The spicy chicken burger was top notch too, could do with a tiny bit more spice maybe. Chips were decent could be a tad crispier. Very clean and fresh deco. Parking can be found around nearby.

Had a meal at Rocco's, plus ordered extra burger meal for a homeless guy who was outside and asked Abdul if the homeless person can eat inside. The answer was NO homeless in Rocco even though the meal was paid for by me! Also had to clean up table of previous customer myself to sit in and eat. Disgraceful and disgusted how people can treat other people so badly! Toilet is also out of service!

I recently visited this place and unfortunately had a negative experience. One of the employees, a tall young skinny guy, was quite rude and unhelpful during my visit. I came in with a simple request, but the response I received was dismissive and unfriendly. Customer service can make or break a business, and I hope that this feedback encourages better training and communication among the staff. Everyone deserves a pleasant experience when they stop by, and I look forward to seeing improvements during my next visit.

The best customer service in Manchester for spicy burgers! They made a bespoke order for my event, cutting the burgers and wrapping them in foil just as requested. The communication from the takeaway was amazing, and their delicious food truly made the event enjoyable. Highly recommend!

May 2024 - Burgers are pretty good, and relatively cheap therefore it's quite busy! The service... lol. There isn't much of a service, and i don't think thats the main focus bc people are going to keep coming back for decent enough reasonably priced burgers. 🤷‍♀️ So if you don't mind abrupt disinterested customer service, you should try the burgers ! Yum *UPDATED AND EDITED* found a cockroach leg in my loaded frie😵🤢🤮 A week on and I still feel sick thinkING of it. Defo NOT going here again, which is quite sad bc the food was banging (before the cockroach leg)

High quality spicy chicken burger, comfortably amongst the higher tier in Manchester. Trust me, if you're in the area, this is the one. The burgers taste fresh, with the lettuce/mayo combo still managing to make their presence known beside the spicy sauce, a unique and welcome sensation. As for the chicken itself, you're greeted with a pleasantly light crunch followed by soft and succulent meat. The fillet is evenly distributed, and is a good size and shape for the bun. It all seems very well thought out, and as a result it doesn't fall apart like some other places. The chips are pretty standard. They could be crispier and fresher, and to be honest, there is room for improvement with the seasoning. But this is just nitpicking. The main event is the chicken, and the tenders are juicy, crunchy, and excellent. Highly recommended.

Service needs improvement. Food delicious if only they pick their phones up so customers could wait less and their orders are ready. As the wait times in there are ridiculous but it’s fresh so I can’t argue. If only they had extra staff just on the phone they’ll make more money and customers like myself will be happier. Think this is something there lacking compared to their competitors.

I have been coming here since it opened and the food is ok nothing special, My only real issue is the staff and the service. The staff do not care and just keep on taking orders, there's no system in place and every time I have ordered I have had to wait upto 40 minutes plus. There taking orders and then people who have come after you are getting there food and walking off before you, When you ask them they give the familiar line it's coming next. 1 customer who was there before me was there for 50 mins and when she got angry they laughed at her and joked with each other taking what's her problem. Be warned, expect a extremely long wait for food that would only get a 4 out of 10. Not happy and would not really recommend.

We ordered the club burger and stacked burger. If you want a bit of everything, I would recommend the club burger as it comes with chicken fillet, lamb patty, onion ring and hash brown. I would definitely recommend the spicy burger. I also tried out the tangy flavour, it was more spicy than it was tangy. The burger itself is generous and chicken fillet was quite big, I only managed to devour half of mine. I like the fact the chips were quite generous too. Not too bad for the price. I’m sure most places include cheese, bit cheeky that you have to pay extra for cheese, especially for the club burger.

Excellent food and great service. I was seen quickly, and the food was made correctly (it has been an issue in the past, but Rocco's has definitely improved, and the order and food can not be faulted). The atmosphere was good, and they have an upstairs section as well.

I live just next to it but never tried it earlier. Got Loaded cheesy fries and portion size was massive. It's a full mean portion for a normal adult. Would be visiting more often.

We ordered burgers, wraps, wings, tenders and loaded fries gravy, 5 stars for all the items except loaded gravy fries which wasn’t gravy also only few bits of chicken pieces inside ( 1 out of 10), Also no toilet facility had to rush out as kids wanted to use washroom badly and it was out of order.

The fries serving here has some magic in it. It is something really amzing.. And the tenders with spicy sauce... I just loved it... Really worth for the money.....

Chicken burgers are scrumptious from here. Spicy sauce has a good kick to it and the burger itself has always been fresh to order. Chips aren’t the best in my opinion but all in all you won’t be disappointed if you visit this establishment. Wings are really tasty too, some of the best chicken shop wings I’ve had.

I like the food at roccos and everytime i went it was clean but last time i went theres was rubbish all over the seat the table unopened sauce on the tables chips on the floor and i literally had to sit in the place till someone finished eating and threw their rubbish in the bin. There's hardly any staffs upstairs to clean the area which is quite not the best hing to be doing. BARE IN MIND NO PARKING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE EXCEPT FROM LONGSIGHT MARKET OR LIDL

A fabulous place to eat I had been craving and naughty burger, those naughty ones that are big fat and juicy That is basically what you get here big massive juicy burgers The restaurant was really busy for some reason But the staff managed to cope really well they have buzzer system so you get a little alert when your food is ready to go down and collect They have seats upstairs and downstairs, so plenty of seating is available The burgers are incredible The chips are very tasty and they come with the salt on them, which is always very nice They do a load of chips, which is a few different options. We tried the chilli chicken one the chicken one and the chicken gravy one. They are all fabulous in their own right? They are big portions with mayonnaise and chicken and bits of salad mix. I would definitely recommend this and it was great value for money for only about £5 each. As it was literally a tiny corner of salad and some chicken bits on it a little bit boring for me and it was probably one of the most expensive things on the menu that was fabulous

Please open a branch in huddersfield, teach people of yorkshire how a good chicken burger or any southern fried chicken bits are made properly. We travel down every few days to specifically get food from here. It's always well worth the visit. The food is absolutely awesome!!! value for money and consistently brilliant in taste, not to forget the great customer service every time we've visited. Rocco's the best chicken burger spot in Manchester? I would definitely agree, whenever I visit the burger is on point and not over the top spicy. A healthy amount of chips in every meal which you can never complain about. The spicy mayo is a great touch and goes well with the mountain of chips with every meal. Great family ran shop who have truly mastered consistency, especially during peak times where it can get quite hectic due to the extreme demand and brilliant affordability.

This place has potential. When comparing we compare with Miamis spicy burger it can get there but sauce needs to be less tamatoey, i would say the loaded fries were actually really good surprisingly. Really stood out.

The spicy fried chicken wings from this takeaway were old, greasy, overcooked, and lacked any real spice. It felt like biting into cardboard dipped in oil. Definitely not worth the money. Save yourself the disappointment and find another place for your chicken fix.
