Riverside Bar in Broxtowe

The food menu is verry british. Nothing special. Not in like for my taste.

Disgusting meals expect a decent piece of fish not out of a box 😤 very disappointed no stars here and never wasting money here again not a happy customer at all

Had a member of staff be very rude to one of my party.

Love it here the food is cheap but nice you pay for what you get. The bar staff are wonderful always get a smile from them. The inside was a little bit dated, but there again, it's not a main street pub. Gunness is one of the pints I've had anywhere in Nottingham. There are plenty of bar snacks. This is also a child friendly place where they cater to children as much as they do for adults. If you want 5*, this is not the place for you. But if you want a nice place for a drink and a bite to eat, then this is for you. This place is also disabled friendly.

Beeston marina is a brilliant pub! Family friendly atmosphere with lovely staff! The views are amazing! All the staff here serve with great customer service! A delightful place to drink and a wicked local!

Great little bar. Been coming here regularly the past few months while I’m in the UK. Drinks are cheap, food is good for the price. Staff are all super friendly, especially Karen

A lovely canal/ riverside location. However it was extremely quiet when I was there as it was in the middle of a weekday afternoon

Can not comment on food but outside looked rather shabby and inside was not a a lot better.

Good fun place for all ages,had a charity today ,brilliant and enjoyable. Very good.

Terrible!! When I first arrived I found it to be a lovely place! Me and my partner where drinking to the anniversary of her dads death, something we do every year since he passed away. Later in the evening I had a series of epileptic seizures thust caused me to become confused, out of control and a bit angry / agitated. I heard ambulance and staff making comments about me and I refused any further treatment from ambulance, removed my own cannula and left. They contacted Police and when they arrived they practically laughed at them and left. Shame that the team couldn’t understand how someone with epilepsy can behave and react, seriously some training needs to be done and staff also shouldn’t be drinking blue WKD behind the bar!

I visited on a bank holiday Sunday. There were approximately 10 people in the bar. There was only 1 cask beer on. There.are two more rooms. There is also outside seating, which is nice on a summers day, being next to the river.

Found this little place last Sunday after visiting Attenborough Nature Reserve, good prices, good music and lovely views. Came back today to try the food after another Sunday walk, amazing food and amazing value. Will be back again!

As regular visitors to the marina we decided on The Riverside Bar for my husband's 60th! Staff are fabulous, the food was bloomin lovely! Everybody complimented it! So glad we chose there! Wish we could have invited our Swan friends!! 😂 We had a blast!!! ❤️❤️

Riverside bar is always welcoming and the staff are amazingly friendly, and I have to be completely fecking honest - the drinks are the cheapest I've had in a long time since covid began. So £4.55 double Southern Comfort and lemonade, plus only £4 for the strawberry and lime cider then omg wait for it 4 shots for £7 and these have fireball/ sambucca. They have a pool table and good music, they remember you plus I love the walk to it, always come here and tbh its 45 mins walk from me but this is my local. The food I ordered is a simple but served in good speed and to a good standard - its home meals at good prices and no restriction on sauce lol £3.30 for my chip butty. Its also a beautiful stop off while visiting Chilwell Attenborough nature reserve, its a must visit and a must pit stop for the man of your life. Pool, alcohol and food.

Absolutely delightful little gem right next to the water, everything laid out lovely, smoking area good, beer good, staff friendly, great pool table and a QUIZ MACHINE, which are rare these days. QM was cherry on the cake, five gold stars every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Popped in here today for a drink after a long walk, and was utterly shocked at the welcome we received by the barmaid behind the bar. Customer service was very poor, and upon ordering a drink, we were humiliated and had no other option but to walk out. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Perfect romantic place. Staff was very kind and polite and also service very quick and good quality food. I really recomend this place for visit and spend couple of hours with this romantic and quiet place.

This is a good place to stop for refreshments when you are on the walks around Attenborough Nature Reserve. There are tables by the river for when the weather is good. There is a café next door and a chandlery for all of your boating needs.

Having been around the nature reserve some lubrication was required. Son took us to this place which he likes. We do too now.

Stopped off to eat on my way to the Attenborough nature reserve. Lovely food and amazing staff that made my day just a little brighter

Stopped here for a quick pint whilst on a walk in the area. This is not the most modern of bars but it does have a community vibe to it. The choices of drink are better than expected. Great spot for some outside drinking with tables and a great view of the river. Didn't eat here so can't comment. Would return

The riverside bar is okay. The amstel lager was not good. Guinness was better and the food was good.the interior is very tired and requires a overhaul.

Lovely place to sit by the river and enjoy a drink. We had the meat platter. Huge plate for under a tenner. Gammon, sausage, burger, chicken breast, lamb chop, fried egg, chips,peas,onion rings,salad. Well worth it.

Comfortable club-house feel with good range of beers and good value food.
