Amazing one of the very best we have tried many Thai restaurants including in Thailand itself.

We decided to try River Moon for a takeaway and was not disappointed! We ordered the set menu A for takeaway and a 1/4 crispy duck for the kids. The portion sizes were great with leftover food from 2 adults and 2 kids. The food itself was incredible. Amongst the dishes we had were massaman curry, sweetcorn cakes, beef with garlic and pepper, and chicken satay. For me, the massaman was the stand out, with a beautiful taste and huge, fresh, melt in the mouth bits of chicken. I couldn't fault it. I would highly recommend Riven Moon and look forward to visiting for a meal at the restaurant!

Almost stars. It's either Thai or chinese, River moon isn't sure which one it is. However, good food and nice staff.

First time here. This is now my favourite place to eat. This goes for all types of food. I will highly recommend RIVER MOON to anyone and we will be back with friends. Every part of this visit was outstanding. Jungle duck was beautiful too

10 of us had a take away from the river moon for the first time.W e all ordered different dishes from duck to noodles and Thai green curry, it was all delicious and we also received a free bottle of wine which was so nice.All nice and hot also.Do give it a try if you haven’t yet.Will definitely try again.If you collect your order you get an extra 10per cent of.You can also eat in the restaurant.

Our first visit to River Moon. The menu is extensive and varied enough for anyone's taste. My wife and I have not visited a Thai restaurant before, but we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed both our starters and main course. Very pleasant and attentive staff.

Popped in to book a table after being let down at another venue and got the last one On a Saturday night. Wasn’t disappointed at all . Welcome was 10out of 10 ,service fantastic and the food superb . This is a gem and would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Party of four left very happy . Will be visiting again

Brilliant restaurant excellent food and very attentive staff. Had a brilliant evening there.

Two major issues with this place. 1. Massive queues of persons waiting for take aways and secondly there is absolutely nowhere to park a car anyway we remotely near the place so in the end you just go somewhere else

Best Thai food in the area and lovely friendly people. Our waitress was called "FIRST" and was just amazing and lovely with a great sense of humour. If she was a horse she would be "first" past the post. We will be back and will recommend. Thanks to you all for a lovely lunch.

They were very professional in helping us choose dishes that would suit our guests' many dietary requirements (Gluten free, vegetarian, allergies) and in providing the food in lovely chafing dishes. They even went out of their way to make our evening special by hiring outside crockery & cutlery which they later washed up and returned for us so we didn't have to worry about the dishes on the day. The staff was endlessly helpful and friendly - the whole family seemed involved and engaged in the business and everyone we interacted was forthcoming and kind. The food was an absolute delight - the grilled king prawns and prawn tempura blew away all our guests and their curries and noodle dishes were delicious - guests went back for seconds and thirds! I look forward to eating at River Moon again very soon.

We had such a fantastic meal. We live locally and don’t frequent the local restaurants as much as we should so decided to change that tonight. I’m so glad we did, Chicken Satay and Squid to start …. Lovely Weeping Tiger Beef and Huge Prawns in Red Curry Coconut Sauce followed by Mango and Sticky Rice ..Amazing We could have been in Thailand, the food was so authentic. Service was spot on without being intrusive and the bill was a pleasant surprise. We will be returning as soon as next weekend

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE DIETRY RESTRICTIONS. Sadly, the second visit was very different from the first. Despite checking twice that the dish was vegan friendly , half way through the soup I started to feel a little sick. Then I found a piece of chicken. I didn't make a big deal just asked for it to be taken off the bill as I couldn't eat it. It was the least they could do. And then, despite the menu stating gluten free, and checking, I had a gluten reaction and have been throwing up since leaving the restaurant. The server was also fairly rude and there was no reason for it. When my main arrived and I checked it was the vg option, she told me 'you check it and see'. Will not be going back here. Disgraceful. The food is incredible!!! (and so filling)..The service is warm and welcoming. A very lovely relaxing experience. Able to cater for vegans and all gluten free dishes are marked clearly on the menu.

We live in Pulborough and go to this restaurant regularly. We are very lucky to be able to walk there. The food is delicious. Our favourites are the flavourful and tender tamarind duck and the Panang Curry. We always order a side of steamed vegetables which are prepared expertly, fresh and firm. The employees are friendly and helpful...especially the amazing, First. She is wonderful.

Chanced across this little gem after a knackering day on the water. Weren't we lucky? Absolutely delicious Thai food. We ate pretty much the whole menu and loved every dish. Would definitely recommend. They were very accommodating for a coeliac too.

Our first time here. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It had a nice intimate feel to it. We had spicy prawn crackers, chicken green curry, a king prawn dish and coconut rice. My king prawn dish was excellent and had a nice spicy kick to it. After finishing mine, I polished off my wife's green curry and I liked it so much I told her to bring me some back as take-out when she comes here with her girlfriend. To top things off our meal included to complimentary beverages. We had red wine. I have been to several Thai restaurants where they claim to have coconut rice, but many times I'm disappointed. River Moon's coconut rice is the most flavorful I have ever tasted! At our first glance at the menu, we thought the food was a bit pricey, however, midway through our meal I commented that I don't mind paying a bit more for excellent food. My wife agreed.

Outstanding food (both quality and quantity) and service. The decor could do with an overhaul, but the primary reason to go to a restaurant is the food and it was a delight. The Moo-Krob Kra Poaw was new to us and an absolute treat.

I booked a table to celebrate my birthday in June 2023. Although they were short staffed in the restaurant the waitress went above and beyond to accommodate us all. I ordered via just eat at 18:20 and my food was delivered 10 minutes ago, 20:05. The food is stone cold and the green curry is like a puddle of oil. I spent £50 and cannot eat any of it, it's made my husband and I feel sick. Very disappointing.

A delightful place and without a doubt the best Thai within a 30 mile radius . I have both sat in and had takeaway and each time the service has been warm friendly and polite. The food is delicious, I personally recommend the sweetcorn fritters.

I moved the local area (Billingshurst) earlier this year so have been researching local places to eat out. River Moon is only a 13 minute drive from my house and I visited with a friend for Dinner recently. We found the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were very impressed with the standard of the food, extremely fresh and tasty. We had the mixed vegetarian starter for two which we found very large, So much so that we asked them to put some in a box to take home with us because we didn’t feel we’d have room left for our main course if we are the whole lot. They were happy to do this for us. My friend had a king prawn dish for her main course and she said it was very good. I had the vegetarian Massaman which was very tasty. We both shared a vegetarian pad thai. The only thing that could’ve made the experience a bit better was if they had some ice cream or sorbet for dessert but that wasn’t available, so I had a coffee and my friend had a Jasmine tea. We were really impressed with our meal and the service so will definitely be eating here again in the future.
