Eaten here multiple times with my family. The service is always great and the fact they have won awards in the past it speaks for itself. The atmosphere is great and it's a clean enjoyable experience. A regular on my list of eateries.

Lovely meal in a nice setting. My only criticism is that we ordered 3 poppadoms and when they came there were also 3 dips which we had not ordered. I assumed they were complementary as we had not ordered them and were not asked if we would like some.. There are restaurants that do give these complementary so didnt raise it as an issue. We tried a little of each but didn't really want them. Again when the waiter came to remove the plates he took the uneaten dips away without enquiring whether we wanted to keep them on the table to eat with our main course. So I was not impressed when there was a charge for the dips on the bill. I did not raise it at the time as this meal was at the beginning of an evening to celebrate the life of my late husband and didn't want to spoil it. The charge was only £3.00 but I do not find it acceptable to have to pay for items put on the table that weren't ordered. If dips are automatically put on the table when purchasing poppadoms there should not be a charge or it should be made clear on the menu.

Such a shame tonight! You really showed your true colours! We have been loyal customers for many years but tonight the big tables that ordered after us were priority for you & you kept us waiting for an hour & a half such a shame you prioritise big tables over loyal customers. My poor sister in law was so upset she couldn’t believe you would treat us this way. You have lost us all as customers. We feel very sad .

Came across this place accidentally on first visit to Redditch. Staff were very helpful. Choice of menu was very good. Really enjoyed the food and ambience. Well recommended.

DISSAPOINTED: On 2 occasions, we have dined in, and it's been lovely. On the last occicasion, I asked for a jug of tap water and was charged £6 for bottled water that I did not receive. Unfortunately, I did not look at the receipt until I arrived home. Rileys is expensive, though so is everywhere else. Therefore, budget for an average £30 spend per person. On this occasion, we ordered for a takeout - 2x Pathia (nothing else). I was charged the same rate for dining in £11 per tub of Pathia, which was not as tasty as the eating in the plated version, so average, really. I feel that the take out price was disgusting and was horrified at the price. For this reason, a low score and a definite no for future take outs.

Visit twice a year when in town with the Echo Live Star Wars meet, always great staff and great food!

I arrived at 6.00pm, as booked. Had popperdom and starter and didn't receive the main course until 7.10pm and had to leave a lot to go to the theatre for 7.30. I informed them about the event. This is not the first time it has happened to myself.

Went last night before a show.. Food was lovely, drinks are very expensive had a pint of lemonade and blackcurrant Cordial and was £6 each although lemonade on its own was £4 so charged £2 for dash of Cordial.. Asked for no ice in both and still relieved ice in both. Customer service was good managed to fit us in even tho busy and we didn't have booking.

We booked a table for 19:00 and did not get to sit at it until 19:30 as they were running late. The waiting staff were rude and running round like headless chickens. There did not seem to be any thought or structure to what they were doing. After another hour of waiting we decided to leave. The service is really poor and the staff don’t seem to have any thought about customer service.

Went for my wife's birthday and wish I never. Feels like if your not in a big group you get ignored or slowed to make you try to drink more.... After 15 minutes of being seated finally our order is taken (not before drinks of course), 40 minutes later finally starters arrive but not together, 5 minutes apart which infuriates me as we as a couple want to eat together! 30 minutes past and my wife actually complained to the manager, another 10 minutes later I've had enough. Ask to pay which is met by pure rudeness from the same manager. Other tables of bigger groups arrived 44 minutes later and had mains before we had complained. Ruined my wife's birthday meal and will never visit again! Avoid at all cost!

Food for me was very nice, different options then a lot of Indian places. Like the monkfish I had for the main lovely. My partner did not like his main to much but he is very fussy, staff were hands on and great.

Brilliant service, first class food . New year's Eve is usually chaotic wherever you go,but staff were very friendly and efficient. Very good way to see New year in. Going again soon. We have been coming here as a group of 4 for the past few years, every single time, the food is absolutely amazing. On this visit I wanted to try something new, so I tried a more spicy dish, it was amazing, and after we finished our meal we even got a visit from the chef himself, who told us about the dishes, and the time to make them etc. It’s always a brilliant experience here, the staff are one of a kind. If you’re doubtful, give them a try, you will not be disappointed I can’t speak for the delivery, but the dine in experience is always top tier. Thanks again!

Having sat and looked at local options and fancying my favorite delicacy I opted for Rilys. The place is lovely and bright, fresh and welcoming with ample seating upstairs and downstairs. The menu is clear with a nice variety of options however, in my opinion the prices are on the high end of the scale even for the smaller items. 1 poppadom is £1.50, £1 for the dips, £3.50 for a glass of Pepsi, £4 for a plain boiled rice and £4.50 for a small garlic nan. The curry I got was a house special which was recommended by the very polite and professional "sithe", he asked what u liked and I went with his complete suggestion of meal and nan convincing me that the garlic nan and curry compliment each other, he wasn't wrong. My curry was the chicken tenga pathia, it was absolutely fantastic, great spice with a sweet side. A nice thich sauce with tearing chicken, the garlic nan was cooked lovely and really went well with each mouthful of curry. I do believe you get what you pay for and although I feel the prices of the condiments are too high, the curry was one of the best I have had in a long time, a solid 9/10. Once finished I was greeted with dessert and coffee options which I declined, I then cleaned my hands and face with the complimentary warm lemon cloth, paid my dews and bid good night. If you have not tried this establishment, don't worry about trying any others, just start off with the best.

We have visited Riley’s in a dark rainy evening. The ambience and the lighting were so attractive. Had to wait for sometimes in the lounge as we haven’t booked a seat before. But, the staff were so nice and friendly. They have arranged a seat within a short while. We have ordered Sheek Kebab, Garlic Naan, Chicken Biriyani with a spicy chicken curry. They were so delicious which brought back the taste of our amazing Indian foods. Sheek kebab was perfectly made and presented with the herbs. And, the biriyani as well. We have even enjoyed the scoop of vanilla ice cream as well. I loved the way the chef and the staff came to us and asked, “are you enjoying the food?” Riley’s gave us more than our expectations. Recommended highly if you’re looking for a Indian restaurant around Redditch. I’m not sure about the parking behind the building and the wheel chair access. But, it’s easily accessible by walk from Stephen church or from Lidl or Dixy chicken. Thanks again for the wonderful experience..!!

A truly lovely indian restaurant, not your average curry, much better ingredients and choice

Food was really lovely and very nice size portions the staff were lovely and very attentive, the place looked spotlessly clean , it was very quiet there were no other customers so we didn't need to make a reservation

We reserved last minute just in the area at the time and what a choice we made, could not of bean more frendly and help full the food was fantastic with the service. And to cap the night of they let us out the back door to get to our car because of a thunder storm what result will be looking them up next time in the area 5 star

Avoid this place, we dined recently and our payment was taken twice on the card machine!! We went in Tuesday after being notified by our bank and was told manager would call us Friday? No call so drove to restaurant again this being Friday, no apology, just we have been busy, oh ok so have I and have drove here twice due to no fault of my own. Disgusting behaviour avoid, all polite until they make a mistake, manager condescending and unsympathetic, won’t be visiting again!!!!!!!!!

Top quality Indian food prepared with minimal oil and lots of flavor

Excellent service and delicious food which was well presented. The restaurant is modern and stylish. I can recommend both the salmon tikka and the King prawn garlic starters. The lamb katta masala and Riley's version of the chicken sagwaler were also very tasty and a step up from the usual.

As a family we love going to rilys to eat in, it is always a good atmosphere, the food is always amazing and hot and the staff are absolutely brilliant. We also sometimes have takeaways which are as good as being in the restaurant

Went on a Saturday night. Superb quality food, service a little slow, but worth the wait.

Extremely pleased with the quality of the food. However, we dined early and they ran out of coffee before 8.00 pm!!! Unbelievable....... Check your bill carefully before paying as they cheekily tried to charge me twice for coffee when they'd run out!!!!

Superb upmarket Indian Cuisine in Redditch. Great atmosphere, attentive and helpful staff and the food tastes as good as the perfect presentation. Even for takeaways the quality remains high. As an example, the Lamb used in the Rogan Josh was well cooked, succulent and grissle free.

Adding this review for a couple of reasons, firstly the food quality on this occasion was very poor. Secondly, there are issues ordering from Uber Eats if you have a problem with your order and finally Riley’s Manager was condensing and unsympathetic to the issue. Ordered a take away for a family occasion, delivered because we weren’t driving. Order arrived, the tandoori mixed grill, which I have had previously wasn’t good the lamb was considerably over cooked, dry and tough. The meal also arrived with no mint sauce. Telephoned Riley’s, explained the issue in detail and was passed through to the The Manager, the initial person who I spoke with didn’t pass on the details and I had to explain again. Manager also answered with a rushed and impatient “can I help you” . Most annoying when you have already spent 5 minutes explaining the issue to one person. When I repeated my issue regarding the quality of the meat the Manager then started to “mansplain” to me about cooking tandoori and that it was mean’t to be tough. ! Ridiculous response . I then mentioned we also didn’t receive any mint/yogurt sauce. The Manager then said the sauce was delivered, when it absolutely wasn’t. Getting very frustrated at this point the Manager then said the sauce was complimentary anyway !! He then asked me what I wanted him to do, so the ideal situation for us would be for a new meal to be delivered. Now as an Uber Eats Order this can’t be done - they have no drivers and we were unable to drive. I then said, could he refund the meal - he said he also couldn’t do that as it was Uber Eats. Offered vouchers if we came into collect however totally missing the point that we had ordered to eat with family tonight ! So wish I ordered from our usual Indian Take-way, The Rasoi . Probably fine if you eat in the restaurant however not really set up for takeout.

Easily the best curry house around. You'd be mad as a box of frogs to not go here for the best Indian cuisine outside of Birmingham.

the food is not the worst they cheated us on the bill they added things that were not ordered we were 20 people and they added at least 100 pounds to the main bill

I thought service was a little slow. But didn't really bother us to much. My food however was gorgeous. I had the bombay naga.. If like your Indian food spicy with a slight tinge of hot then this is for you.. On the whole a pleasant evening.

Went tonight with some work colleagues, the place looks lovely the food was really nice. The mango chutney was probably the nicer I've ever had! It was a good overall experience

We booked a table for 3 for husbands birthday and i have to say that i can't thank the staff enough. The food was amazing and all the staff were so welcoming and very friendly. Nothing was any trouble for them, We had a lovely relaxing meal resulting in a brilliant evening and certainly left full. We will deffinatley be returning.

A really wonderful restaurant!! We've just been this evening for my wife's birthday and it was amazing! It was very quiet as it's a Monday but both the service and food were first class. We were made to feel so welcome and the waiters clearly wanted to give us and the kids a full experience, they brought my wife a free starter (their favourite) as a birthday gift which was absolutely delicious! The rest of the food and service (especially for the kids) was simply top drawer! If we're up this way again we will definitely be coming here again. 100% highly recommended!!!!!

Visited 10.09.22 for a birthday surprise all booked last minute for 12 Rilys it was my first time to it was nice clean well organised staff friendly table service was spot on the food was amazing had the Rilys mixed special. The food came out nice and hot everyone on are table enjoyed the food. A staff member (forgot to ask for name when leaving )went the extra mile when paying the bill for my friend and others as we share September with birthdays with a surprise cobra for the birthday guys this month I will be coming again the Rilys Indian restaurant thank 😊 you a great night

Been here several times, always been fantastic, great food and service.

Great service, super quick which was exactly what I needed on a Sunday evening. Lovely lamb shashlik to start and amazing, non greasy, chilli garlic chicken for main with rice and chilli and corriander naan. Great cobra 🐍 on draft but pricey. Good value overall.

Best curry house in Redditch staff ate so friendly

Visited Rilys last night for a work get together, the staff were pleasant, the food was amazing. I had Pathia and it was one of the best pathias I’ve had in a very long time. I am definitely going back again!

Always enjoy a good meal here, service is friendly, food is prompt and the choice of dishes appeals to everyone whatever the preference. It's great whether a couple or large party, food and service is always on point and we were very happy with empty plates. When it comes to price against other places to eat it's great value and a beautiful venue.
