I absolutely loved my visit at the diner! We ordered pancakes and they were super fluffy and delicious. Can’t wait to go back

Ok food but it was very slow for semi-fast food. Also the entire restaurant smells like oil.

My 1st experience there was great but my second time wasn't. The second time I visited they didn't have fries! Then later on they said they could do the fores and I ordered dirty fries and the were really horrible! Cold and uncooked. Their milkshakes are great though.

A great diner (Oxford High Street). Really good food at good prices. The hot chocolates (with cream) are superb. The staff are really helpful and friendly, particularly Pasquale.

The staff is extremely friendly, although popular, it isn’t difficult to find a seat. Our food came quickly and the quality and deliciousness was perfect. The milkshakes are made well and very yummy. With a clean sitting area and a nice variety of selections, this is definitely the best diner we’ve been to.

we were greeted by a very kind and sociable staff, in fact they immediately put us at ease. The hamburgers we chose were excellent both in terms of cooking and in terms of flavours, the same goes for the fries and milk shakes. the restaurant is very welcoming and well kept, you can see that the staff cares a lot.

Ordered a grilled chicken wrap and chips. We waited for 45 minutes. Taste was not bad but didn't worth the wait.

Fairly priced and tasty veggie english breakfast. Laid back vibe inside and good place to catch up with friends.

It is a really nice place, especially for pancakes and fries, but I got food poisoning from grilled chicken I think. Or there might be a problem with my stomach lately.

Went to Ricks on high street with my friends, all of us ordered pancakes. I can say they were the worst pancake i had ever tried, very dry , not smooth at all soo not fresh pancakes but Supermarket ones . Its such a shame paying £8 for some Tesco pancakes

Just stopped by and had an excellent chicken burger with spicy sauce and fries. It was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is good, but the music was a bit louder than I would like. I am sure they would have turned it down a bit if I asked.

This was a Family lunch on a Saturday lunchtime. The service and welcome were warm and friendly and thd burgers sublime. I would highly recommended to any burger fans!

I have been to the cowley Road and High Street branches, both offer fantastic burgers without a doubt. Only gripe is I have had the El passo at both branches and the high Street one seemed to have a hot sauce that the cowley brqcnh didn't, which detracted from the experience. It was just too acidic! Biscoff milkshake was unreal and the fries are always absolutely unreal. Real bonus of the hight Street branch was the welcome from Pasquale, the gm. Felt like he actually knew my mum he was so friendly. Will definitely be back to sample some different things and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.

We wanted to have something sweet, and noticed they have really fancy pancakes. We were greeted and served by Pascale, very friendly and welcoming! They have good music, and good atmosphere, and the pancake was simply awesome! The strawberry was delicious as well as the Peanut Butter shake - I will definately visit next time I am around! :)

Food is under £10 it becomes more when you add coffee or milkshake etc. Vegan Breakfast is a good price for what you get. Same with Vegan Legend Burger and hot crispy fries actually more chips then fries. Nothing soggy here. I definitely will eat here again.

Nice little cafe in the High opposite both University church of St Mary and All Souls College. Good value for money, halloumi wrap and cheeseburger with cajun fries went down a treat. Well looked after by Natalia and fab vibes with 60s & 70s music. Great spot to watch the world go by - photo taken from our window seats ...Highly recommendable - We'll be back

There I find the 3 elements that make me come back : - Lovely atmosphere - Friendly and warm staff members especially the manager, so kind and smiley face - Tasty food and good coffee 100% recommend to everyone !

I've always loved Ricks on the Cowley rd, and was so happy to see another pop up on the High Street - I wandered in with a dying phone battery and a hankering for their infamous Halloumi Wrap and the server was so kind to lend me his charger while I had my dinner. I love the music choices too and the historical odes to the building's past. So glad this place is doing well.

I absolutely adore Rick’s, from the French toast and fluffy pancakes to the burgers and crispy fries everything is perfection. The food is affordable and there are lovely veggie options, Rick’s is my favourite place to eat :))

Had an amazing first experience at Ricks Diner 😋 The service was great and went out of her way ( Ayisha ) to help me and suggest food as I was unsure of what to get as a vegetarian !! Will definitely come again after such great experience ❤️

Lovely food served pretty quickly and always very nice staff. 110% recommended, this is somewhere which you will return to, time and time again!

Tried to resolve over email, no response, I.e no care given. I went to the counter to order, I asked for a veggie breakfast wrap, no mushrooms. 'Veggie' breakfast 'no mushrooms' came out, I said I ordered a wrap but was told I didnt order that, ok maybe I got it wrong so accepted. A few things ended up giving away this was a MEAT breakfast with the mushrooms taken off. - Mushroom residue and bit of mushroom on plate (see picture top right) -'VEGGIE SAUSAGE' - I had abit of both the 'veggie' sausage and normal sausage and they tasted the same.... no difference in texture, taste or smell. A miracle if true. -No hummus on plate that are in the veggie breakfast, of which we seen on another table before we left how it should look.... NO SAUSAGE on there plate either. -The biggest giveaway, There is no veggie sausage listed on the menu items for a veggie breakfast or veggie wrap. Veggie sausages are not something they do. I asked again did I order a veggie breakfast and told yes definitely I did. I queried where the hummus a was and why there was a sausage on the plate and told it was definitely a veggie sausage. However, I was offered a refund on that plate which I accepted. However, the reason I am writing this review is that the server straight up lied which I have since found out from checking menu in store and online. THEY DO NOT SERVE VEGGIE SAUSAGE, ITS NOT A MENU ITEM, IT DOES NOT EXIST... this was a lie to cover up the mistake. Absolutely disgusting, this place should be shut down for that alone, serving meat on a veggie breakast then lieing saying its veggie. Being lied to multiple times is simply disgusting when clearly evidenced it was wrong.. See the picture of this veggie sausage, then check your sausage when you have it, its the same. shocking, absolutely shocking.

I’ve tried the Vegetarian Wrap and it was fantastic. My friends all enjoyed the food, staff was friendly, and the experience overall was beyond perfect. Definitely recommend Ricks Diner 🙌

First time trying this fairly new diner - highly recommend! Lovely window booth with a view of the cathedral spire. Great coffee and tasty halloumi wrap, very filling. Brilliant atmosphere with relaxing music and a blend of American diner and historic English decor.

Great find on busy high street! This cute diner serves great food and is a pleasant change from the bigger big-chain coffee shop experiences on high street. Bogdan and Igor are excellent hosts and you are sure to receive service with a smile. I had the vegan breakfast, and it was excellent. Portion sizes are generous, and coffee is great.

The pancakes are excellent examples of American-style pancakes. Very quiet at 6pm, easy to get a table at the window. If I lived in Oxford I would come here a lot. Not licensed, so don't go there expecting alcohol.

Popped in for burgers on Saturday evening. The chicken burgers were excellent, decent fries too. Very friendly staff and food cooked freshly for us, but not much of a wait. Reasonably priced. Would deffo come back.

A fine little establishment, Rick's diner offers a delectable slice of Americana right on Oxford's high street. Whether you're after a cup of coffee during the quieter morning hours, or a lively atmosphere to have lunch with your friends, Rick's is the place to go. A quality menu (pancakes or French toast for breakfast being particularly nice) and friendly service make this eatery a great haunt for locals and visitors alike. Despite the location, the prices aren't too dear. I would recommend this place to those who enjoy the aesthetic of the classic American diner, and indeed to anybody who is after a great place to sate their appetite.

I absolutely love this place. It has a great view on High Street and the Chruch, the food is super delicious and freshly made. I’ve had quite a few different dishes and I was always happy so far. The service is great and Bogdan never disappoints in being a great host to this Diner.

I have been in Oxford for a while now, and I am a guy that love to study and eat in cafes. I can say that Rick's diner is my favorite place to go. Guys they have an incredible service food coffee everything. I can say that I became addicted to Rick's diner every weekend (the time i went to cafes)

Service: Very slow despite place being empty. No greeting or table service. Food: Decent but disappointing Beverage: Poor - ordered two coffees which took 20 minutes. Came lukewarm and tasted different. Atmosphere: Odd choice of music, very hot inside but decor was nice.

One of the best places to have a brunch, breakfast, lunch, or just coffee in Oxford , t. Great quality and value for money. you need try the full english breakfast, their pancakes and french toasts are the best. Highly recommend it comes a must for us every-weekend we go there
