Ribble Tandoori Takeaway in Ribble Valley

I've lived in Clitheroe 4 and a half years, a month ago I had my 1st takeaway from ribble tandoori, it was incredible, so this evening we thought we'd try it again, if anything, it was even better, I had the most delicious chicken tikka jalfrezy 🌶🌶🌶 it was packed with spices, flavour, chicken, I am 54 and I've had many curries, but this, without question is the best takeaway I've ever had, we will definitely be ordering again from ribble tandoori 👌 10/10, 5 🌟

Rang to order a takeaway for the family, we’ve not had Indian food for ages & the kids were so excited. Chose Ribble Tandoori at random in Google, got home, tasted it & we all devoured it, it was exceptional, so fresh, as good as we’ve ever had & over the years we’ve tried many. Couldn’t care less what price it is, didn’t seem expensive at all for four of us & we’d side dishes too. That’s it, we now know where to go next time. & the time after too! We had a curry night in our bar we had 8 different orders for our customers i was worried it wasn’t going to correct or not very nice but i had no need to worry it was perfect everyone enjoyed their food said it was tasty and one of the best curries they had eaten so thank you we will definitely do it again very soon

Me and my partner ordered food for delivery from here just before New year. The delivery driver was really friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the chicken tikka jalfreizi and my partner had chicken tikka balti. Looking forward to ordering from here again soon!

Only recently moved to the area so looking for a curry house and this was recommended and had good reviews on Google. Rang and asked if they offer delivery, which they confirmed they did, and then ordered. My fault maybe for not asking for “free delivery”. Ordered the food, which arrived and was very tasty, but though the bill a little high so rang and established that they charge £7.50 delivery!!! Will certainly not be using again, had they told me that they charge pretty much the same as a taxi I would have ordered elsewhere.

Really impressed with how clean staff and shop was when i collected, also lovely to see your food being cooked in the kitchen. Meal itself was perfect and very very tasty. We have just moved here from Langho, so wasn’t sure where to go. But will back to use them again as our first choice.

We've travelled up to the area for a week's "staycation" holiday. Arrived first night and fancied a take away at our cottage. Reviews looked good, so thought we'd give this a go. We were really impressed with the food - probably as good as I've tasted, and I've had a lot of curries in the last 33 years since my first one! Definitely would recommended this.

This is the best indian take away I have tried and would highly recommend it We only get to go there when we go to our caravan but it is always worth the wait Excellent food

If you visit the shop, you get to watch the chefs prepare your food to order. 10/10 for this service.

Me and hubby have been getting food from here for many years and in our opinion it is the best Indian takeaway in town, having tried the rest and always come back here. There is no free delivery but they will happily provide a taxi delivery, currently £3.00 in Clitheroe but will be more to surrounding areas. We have had family "curry nights" with large orders which they have dealt with very efficiently and the food has always been enjoyed by all so well done Ribble Tandoori, long may you continue.

There are other takeaways in the area, but this is utterly reliable in providing good quality and tasty food. Other places come and go, but this one keeps delivering (in both senses of the word).

We were staying in a rented house and ordered a takeaway from here for 15 people, the food arrived within an hour (albeit the driver did get lost, the post code doesn’t bring you to the address), but the food turned up and was still lovely and warm and was absolutely fantastic, such amazing flavours, I have to say this is the tastiest Indian takeaway I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten plenty ha ha, I would recommend this to EVERYONE

Have been coming here for nearly as long as the place has been open (over 20 years) and doing so on a regular basis. Never been disappointed - always excellent with a prompt service and a very friendly proprietor and staff. Love the Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh and Mushroom Bhaji with Pilau Rice and the prices have not increased in over 3 years. Highly recommended.

I have enjoyed take away curries made by Ribble Valley Tandoori for over 20 years. Small family run take away, no frills or delivery but great food and fantastic service. We have ordered large quantities (without notice) for parties and they are always ready to collect on time! Portion sizes are generous if you don't mind sharing and we would definitely recommend the breads and sundries. Good value and a five star rating for hygiene make these guys a winner.

Excelente comida y personal. Dispuestos al cambio ingredientes caliente/más suave, ya que todo está hecha. Nunca he tenido una mala comida aquí y siempre es mi primera opción. Todo el personal fue amable no importa lo ocupados que están, es un negocio familiar de primera clase - sin duda vale la pena más de una visita

Excellent menu and very tasty curry always. Highly recommend for any curry lovers in clitheroe. Delivery service available via taxi service so quite expensive for delivery

Stayed at my uncles lodge for the night and decided I wanted a curry and I was not disappointed it was yummy :) the lamb balti dish was really good :) I have been here in the past and will come again :))

El personal era servicial en el teléfono, el lugar estaba lleno aunque estuvimos allí a finales de 10:00h, la comida era excelente y volveremos. El precio era fantástico, excelente relación calidad-precio.

Stayed at a lodge close by so drove here for some food on the sunday night. The guy at the counter was really pleasant. We had Chicken madras rice and chips and it was full of flavour and really nice.

Visited here last night for a treat, I telephoned my order and it was ready when it said it would be. My partner & I had meat samosas which are absolutely delicious (the only fault is they ate only tiny)! We both had kebab rolls which are very tasty and huge (I could not finish mine)! Our daughter had lamb dopiaza which is also a huge portion (plenty for two) and although not quite as spicy as I would like it was perfect for my 12 year old. They do now have a delivery service but they charge £8 to Hurst green were we live (which is a bit hefty on top of the food, maybe if they did free delivery for a minimum order would be great)! Hence the four stars. Will always return tho because its constantly good and I don't mind the drive lol ;)

can't fault this place and that's after 20 years of being a regularnew dishes added every now and then and prices remain very reasonable.

I've been visiting Double Tree Indian for the last few years (Supherb by the way) and though I'd go back for a takeaway from an old haunt at Ribble Tandoori but what a disappointment, bland and just not right or up to what it used to be. Back to Double Tree we go.

Visit the Ribble on quite a regular basis, always ring our order through then pick it up. The Currie's are tasty and one tray always is enough for two of us, my favourite is the madras (just how it should be) the sides are always plentiful and just as tasty, our food is always ready on collection and the staff ate always friendly. Well done

I put a tweet on Twitter to see if Ribble Tandoori could accommodate my vegan diet (ie no animal products). They immediately tweeted back and said no problem. We got a takeaway last night, it was excellent, from the poppadums, starters of onion bhajias, prawn bhajia, vegetable jalfrezi and chicken tikka samber, with rice, chapati and sag bhaji. We will definitely be going back especially as the staff were so helpful, even the chef came over to tell me what was in the dishes.
