Me encuentro con un amigo para el almuerzo sobre una base regular y Re Vista es siempre nuestra primera elección de lugar! La única vez que desviarse en otro sitio cuando Re Vista no está abierta (quizás es uno y lo único negativo - no está abierta todos los días!) La comida siempre es deliciosa y bien presentada. El personal es muy amable. La relación calidad-precio es inmejorable!

You might think I'm biased since I work in the office upstairs in the same building... but I'm not. The coffee at ReVista is great and when you're drinking it you feel that little better knowing your purchase is going to a good cause. ReVista directs their profits to charity projects around the world! Just for the record, my food recommendation is either a full English breakfast or a bacon, scrambled egg and cheese panini! mmmm... if only they opened 24 hours! I often meet here for business meetings and it's a great venue for that with free wi-fi.

Este maravilloso café está ligada a la Emmanuel Christian Church y no estoy seguro de si es dirigido por voluntarios o no, pero todo el mundo es una cálida bienvenida. El menú es limitado, pero lo que hacen es excelente! Siempre pienso que las empresas hacer mejor, con un pequeño menú, pueden concentrarse en obtener los artículos sirven justo. Normalmente la opción de dos sopas caseras, pan tostado paninis y sándwiches, bollos de bacon, presentada tipo snack comidas sencillas pero de buena calidad y muy bien. Una variedad de tés y cafés están disponibles, así como las bebidas sin alcohol. Un gran lugar para llevar a los niños a, hay una pequeña zona de juegos y cómodos asientos.todo el lugar es acogedor, luminoso y bien ventilado. Ah, una ventaja son los precios. Si le digo que un plato de la mejor sopa pea y jamón que he probado en mi vida, que se completa con media un bollo y mantequilla grande por £2, tienes la idea.

Grasmere Garden Village
Headed in as a group of 9 as other cafes weren't big enough to accommodate (absolutely fine), and we're seated quickly. Everyone had coffee or tea and a scone. Scones were a good size and delicious. Service from the guy with long hair was fantastic.

72 Milnthorpe RoadWe were a large party of 12 but unfortunately no-one can book a table on a Sunday! This is rare these days as people like to plan their mel times. We knew this is advance as we had been before. We waited for a short while and then the table was ready. This wasn't 1 table but we were spread across 3 separate tables which couldn't be put together and some had to sit elsewhere. This happened last time and this time we thought they would only allocate eating when it was ready for the whole party. Most went for the carvery. The vegetables were very good and the turkey really moist but the beef was so tough that you really needed a steak knife to cut through it. Overall a disappointing experience based upon the service, food quality and price/value for money.

40 The PromenadeUnimpressed with the customer service at the old bake house at Arnside this morning.. my hot food arrived well after everyone who came in after me had finished… disappointing.

Holbeck Lane2 night stay at the hotel with tasting menu the first night and breakfast both days. Views are incredible and can be seen from the front of the hotel, outside seating area, some of the indoor breakfast tables and some of the hotel rooms. Our hotel room was a double room (fell view), lovely sunrise view from the large windows, plenty of space and storage, comfy bed. The full English breakfast was lovely. Tasting menu had 5x courses plus bread and canapés. Delicious meal and staff very friendly. Lovely lounge area with topped up fire place. Good location for getting to Windermere and around during the day by a short car journey. My one pointer would be the heating in the bathroom was stuck on full blast, I appreciate these old places are prone to damp but it did feel a bit wasteful. Overall lovely stay and will be back
