Nice cosy little café with a good selection of games. Vibe was very chilled and the hourly fee to play is quite competitive with other places of this kind. Or so I'm led to believe not being a frequenter of board game cafés myself. Drinks are available from the bar and food can be ordered from next door. A really nice way to spend an afternoon with some friends or even a date ☺️

Gorgeous café-bar that feels cosy, relaxed, and comfortable. Staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Awesome games selection and a great variety of drink choices too! We only had nuts, so no idea on the food. We loved spending a few hours here, and we'll 100% be back.

Spent a pleasant couple hours here on a Friday night. Service was lovely, and good selection of games. Beers are a little pricey but worth supporting a good cause.

We visited Replay for the first time and loved it! Plenty of games and a good selection of drinks - the hot chocolates are great - and such friendly staff. Máté, one of the owners, came and explained the rules of a game to us, and was so lovely we invited him to stay and play along with us! A great activity for a winter evening and very reasonably priced - would highly recommend!

Good atmosphere, cocktails, and friendly/helpful staff member. We were able to get a table without a booking on a Saturday night, which was a surprise!

Replay is an absolute must if you're a board game lover! First time visiting and it was a group of 6 of us. Really great inside, spread over 2 floors it's really spacious and has tables/areas that cater for pretty much aby size group. Great selection of board games available and a table tennis area downstairs too. You choose how many hours you want to play for, pay a small fee and away you go! Unlimited access to as many games as you like! Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming with great knowledge of so many of the games so can offer advice on choosing the right one! There is also a bar which serves soft and alcoholic drinks so you can enjoy a drink whilst you play. Also you are allowed to take your own games if you want and we were told Replay also hosts specific games nights throughout the week ie D&D, Murder Mystery. Didn't put a rating for food as I don't think they provide anything more than snacks, but given the location of Replay you've got so many options close by. Overall an amazing evening and such a great place to spend the afternoon/evening, would recommend to anyone and will definitely go back!

Had a lovely evening with my friend here. There was a great selection of games and we booked a 3 hour playing window so we could get a good couple of games in. They weren’t serving food but the owner lets you order food to the place and eat it there. A great selection of drinks and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails each which were reasonably priced. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and he helped us to pick out a game. We had a very fun evening here and will be back. Highly recommend!

I loved it here and the experience was very fun and unique. It was not too expensive and had a great range of board games to play as a group, by yourself or with your family.

Very pleasant atmosphere and a great selection of games. Staff very attentive and helpful. We have received a list of two player games after we entered which was very helpful and saved us a bit of time choosing a game. I'd avoid sitting by the entrance if you don't like draught as the doors does not always close. Perhaps a door closing mechanisms would resolve the issue.

Staff were less involved than some board game cafes, but a reasonable selection of games. Beer choices left a lot to be desired - Bristol has so many great local breweries I’d love to see represented, but cocktails were reportedly good.

Great place to spend the evening. massive selection of board game plus fussball and table tennis. you can also enjoy few drinks with choice of cocktail (the espresso martini was great!!) and beer on tap. Frank and Casper were great hosts, keeping everyone happy and topped up at all times and happy to help explaining any of the game they have on site. great place for kids as well as the atmosphere is really relax and easy-going. definitely recommend and will come back soon.

Absolute legends. Gave me free cake because one of my friends mentioned it was my birthday the week before. good selection of board games, they have decent beer and coffee too. What sets them apart is the food which was excellent. They only had 2 staff in for the whole shop but managed to keep everyone happy.

Great little games bar, been going here for years. Really Friendly staff, great food and drinks and a ton of games available. We've been coming here since the start and so pleased they made it through covid and never hear a bad word about it from more and more people all the time. Only problem now is, its getting busy, so book ahead to make sure not disappointed 👍

I want to say a huge thank you to Replay and the staff for hosting our friend's joint birthday party this weekend. Matte and the staff were exceptional and so warm, friendly and accommodating in respect of my booking and the cake / decoration plans. Everyone had such an amazing time and we could have quite happily stayed all night! There were 15 of us and we were given 2 long tables next to each other with table service. So nice to find a venue that can take big groups! We booked the 3 hour slot to play and it was a lot more reasonable than the other games cafés in Bristol at just £3.50 each. There is a good selection of games, as well as food and drinks. Replay is a lovely, chilled and unpretentious venue with a welcoming vibe. We will definitely be back! 😀

Came with me and my twin brother last night (Wednesday 22/02) and we loved it !! Amazing price for the table tennis and the staff member who was working was so friendly and kind!! Was such a warming experience ! 100% coming back soon!!!!

Fab afternoon. We were unsure what to play and the team were very helpful with their recommendations. The food was excellent. The bean chilli on the nachos was amazing. Top Sunday afternoon! Love the concept.

Revisited replay tonight, the kitchen has been taken over by a new menu and cook and it was delicious! lots more variety and the atmosphere was great

We had a lovely time, the venue, games and drinks were great. But we found the food a little odd in parts. My friend ordered the nachos and one of the toppings they came with was carmelised onions, instead of something like guacamole. Also, the sharing plates they do, the mix of chicken strips, veggie meatballs and samoas was a little random. I completely understand they probably have limits to what they can do, maybe due to kitchen space etc. But overall the quality just wasn't that great, and the choices were a little strange unfortunately. Maybe we caught them on an off day? Or perhaps it's just my personal preferences that didn't suit their menu.

Ideal place to spend a few hours with frienda or family. Wide choice of games to choose from. A few of them may be a bit too long to complete in the 3 hours alloted for your booking though. The food was tasty, although the service was a little slow at times. There is only one unisex toilet which lets it down a bit . Can also be difficult to access the toilet if a lot of people are playing games in the downstairs area. But gwnerally a fun place to spend a few hours. Would go back again.

I loved replay, it had a really welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. They welcomed our little dog too which I really appreciated. Very affordable food and drinks, plus vegan options - yay! The staff are lovely and there’s a great variety of games, all helpfully labelled and categorised.

Great vibes, good vegan options, cheap drinks and tiny cover charge for hours of gaming, more games than you can shake a stick at, dog friendly too! Lovely staff. Brilliant opening hours late into the evening. 10/10 will be back.

Been here a few times over several years, and the atmosphere is always great, but more then that you end up laughing way too much. Drinks and food tasted great, if you’re looking for more in a night out, make sure you try this place with a few good friends :)

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. I imagine it'd be a great place to hang with friends. We were there for teenage birthday. Teens downstairs, parents upstairs. Worked really well and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Plus the 'if you like Irish coffee, you'll like this' vegan option was so delicious, I took one home 😋

It was our first time at Replay and we had so much fun! They are open on a Sunday which is perfect for those chill weekends when you don’t know what else to do. The host was really kind and gave me a cocktail for free after I told them that I didn’t like the cocktail I ordered. I didn’t want to kick up a fuss as it was a new cocktail I tried so I accepted that these things happen, so I really appreciated when he made a new one. They have a good variety of interesting games. There will definitely be something for everyone there. I would highly recommend this place! 😊✌️

I have been itching to try a board gaming cafe since i randomly saw one in oxford one time, so on the chance we were off to Bristol to return a shirt...we needed something to so to make it a day, kids hate shopping so i couldnt do that. I found Replay on google and knew thats where we would spend the afternoon! £14 for 4 of us 2A 2C was an absolute steal! We enjoyed every single minute of our time here and will 100% be back its perfect to switch off from the norms electronics/phones etc and get stuck into a good board game. We were allowed to finish off our game despite being slightly over our time 🙈 staff are so lovely so thank you for making our afternoon. We will see you again soon 😁 also very very reasonably priced we had 2 coffees and 3 other drinks £14 bargain! X

I came here with my girlfriend an hour before closing. We recieved the warmest welcome, and the owner was as friendly as you could be. The choice of board games was varied, with many classics and many more obscure games. The drinks were reasonably priced and very tasty, but the fun was priceless! After a year of studying in Bristol, I can confidently say that this venue gave me and my girlfriend the best night out together by far. Many thanks to the wonderful owner for his suggestion on what game we should try, and his amazingly positive demeanour. We felt welcomed every moment we were there.

3 times in a row I’ve had a 5* experience from this gang. Great information on drink choices, Friendly help on how to play the games are played, Homely+inviting environment every time. I can’t recommend this place enough.

What a positive gem of a venue and menu. All good vibes here, bar and vegan cafe and most importantly all the board Games you ever wanted and a few more. Melissa was so welcoming even got my steadfast anti gamer partner playing a few rounds.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary at Replay. Great selection of games. The chap behind the bar was incredibly helpful. He noticed that we weren't drinking alcohol and offered to make us a non-alcoholic dark and stormy. It was so tasty and we really appreciated how the staff made our night special. Wow! Recently refurbished with the bar in front. Lots of cool decorations and very bright, feels like on holiday! Food was fantastic! And to top it up they are super friendly:))

An absolutely stellar boardgame cafe! The staff/ owner was lovely and took their time to explain multiple games and help select a few! We played two in a row and thoroughly enjoyed it! A good selection of drinks, beverages and food made for an amazing evening spent at replay! A little gem of community and joy in Bristol ❤️❤️

A really fun night. This is a welcoming place with great board games. I expected it to be a bit specialist and felt a bit unsure about whether I would enjoy it but my husband and I had an amazing time. The people who work here are lovely. I am really looking forward to going back to try out some new board games and play table tennis.

Great bar to enjoy some board games, drinks and (vegan!) snacks. The selection of games was perfect, and the color coding system helpful for picking out a few new options. This would be our local if we lived in Bristol.

Great place to hang out with friends/family or to break the ice with people you just met! The hazelnut hot chocolate was delicious! But be careful, the salted caramel chocolate literally has salt, it's surprising when you don't know

Such a great board games cafe. This small independent board games cafe has an amazing selection of games to play as well as table tennis and table football. They also hire out tables for roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons too, so they can cater to loads of tastes. Their bar is always well stocked with a good range of premium and local drinks. Their menu is always a delight with an extensive vegan range of options to snack on. They have also started a brunch menu too which looks to be unique and intriguing. As far as the staff themselves, they are always warm and welcoming to all customers. Greeting everyone with a smile, they are a true asset to the place as they give it a local vibe.

Replay is such a great place to get some drinks, hang out with friends and receive LOVELY service. Having vegan food a massive plus, it was so lovely to find a place that has such variety! Everyone here was so great and friendly, the staff are some of the kindest I’ve had in a long time. My friends and I had a great time on Valentine’s Day and will 500% be coming here again! Overall we enjoyed our visit. The selections of games was good, as was the service and cleanliness. There is also a decent drinks menu. My only grumble would be around the food - when we noticed that replay served food we decided to wait untill our booking to eat rather than grabbing something beforehand. After browsing the menu we decided to have a burger and some loaded fries and although it was very tasty,t he portion size was tiny. When paying 20 odd quid for a burger (£15ish with a couple of "add one") this felt like a complete rip off. I would call it a slider not a burger. We will go back for games and drinks but definitely won't eat here again

Amazing experience at Replay! It was our first time and the staff were so incredibly helpful and welcoming. Frank and Melinda were exceptionally nice and took their time choosing and explaining games for us- they are so passionate and really want to share the experience/good vibes with people which we really value and appreciate. Perfect atmosphere to spend your time with your friends or family! The room is filled with laughter and fun energy- alongside drinks and vegan food makes the perfect night or day ( the hot chocolate was 🔥) We can't wait to keep going back 😊

Replay is super welcoming, cosy and nicely decorated with big games and drinks selections - vegan organic hot chocolate and gem on tap :-D The staff (Frank and Melinda) were the best, Frank was super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and settled with menus right away. When we asked for recommendations Melinda was so helpful, selecting a few favourites and giving us the quickest and clearest summaries of rules I could imagine - I can only dream that one day I or any of my enthusiastic but half-drunk friends could explain an unfamiliar game so well. Brilliant night and we can't wait to go back

Amazing experience going here. The owner was lovely and very hospitable. There was loads to do table tennis/ fussball/ board games which made for a great experience. The food was also amazing which is a bonus, and very reasonable! 5/5 - could not fault :)

I don't typically eat vegan food but the selection they have is quite amazing and very delicious. Mixed with the lovely staff and huge range of board games it made for a lovely evening.

If you are looking for a evening of laughter and a great time, especially when it's pouring down with rain, this is the place to be. They have all the boardgames you could possibly think of and, if that's not enough, there's a table tennis table and a Foosball table downstairs. If anyone is looking for a date idea, this is the place to go.

Had the best time here with a couple mates, £3 for unlimited board games ( plus table tennis and table football) is unreal value. Plus the staff are incredibly friendly, and have a great selection of draught beers and will even rustle you up some cocktails. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Abundant selection of games, great atmosphere and the best Vegan pizza in town. Replay is a must-visit when entering the vibrant location of Stokes Croft. Will be visiting again when I am next in the area. Thanks a lot Replay team!

Stumbled across this place and decided it looked fun all the staff were really lovely, catered to our every need! We played some really fun games and the host offered us help on any that were complicated. We ended up eating in and the food was great! Finished off with a couple rounds of ping pong to end a lovely night! Highly reccomend!

This is my absolute favourite place to spend an evening with good friends! The owners are so open, caring and friendly, great at recommending games that you might like, having a broad knowledge of all of the games that they have. The food is veggie and delicious, and the drinks selection is fabulous too. All in all, such a great little independent spot! :) All the love guys!
