Absolutely Horrendous – Avoid at All Costs Rakdi Wembley was by far the worst eating experience I’ve ever had. The food wasn’t just spicy—it was outrageously, inhumanely overloaded with chillies to the point of being completely inedible. This wasn’t food, it was a punishment. No warning, no indication—just a plate full of fire that no normal person could possibly eat. When I raised a genuine complaint and politely asked for a replacement, the response was disgraceful. The women at the counter immediately turned hostile and started yelling at us, blaming us for not telling them to reduce the spice. How are customers supposed to guess that your food is dangerously hot unless told in advance? The behavior was aggressive, rude, and completely unprofessional. On top of everything, the place itself was unhygienic and poorly maintained. The atmosphere was chaotic, the staff were combative, and the food was simply not safe to eat. Rakdi Wembley is a disaster. Horrible service, inedible food, and zero respect for customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Best food, reasonable prices and Best people indeed!! Everything was very nicely organised. We got some takeaway as well, and the takeaway package was really amazing.!! Special thanks to Pooja, Ankita and the whole team of Rekadi! Very hard-working and sweetest people!! Highly recommended ❤️❤️

SCAMMERS. Ordered food, was charged the incorrect amount. Stupid people do not understand English. I asked for a refund. Women have bad attitude, bad hygiene and poor customer service. Refused me a refund had to go through bank

Third class service.Today I bought 2 ghughra and 1 dabeli take away.i asked her how much time it will be take The counter girl said that in 7 or 8 miint it wlll be ready but it taken 25 minutes.The girl talk with her co-worker for time pass.She has no interested for my order to be ready in time.I miss my train for job. PLEASE READ BEFORE G GOING. Please do not eat here. Everything is a shambles from the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out. We ordered 2 pani puri plates, and 2 sev puri plates. After we received it, it was extremely spicy with no sweetness, even after we had told them to make it more sweet and less spicy at the beginning. Staff are screaming and running around with no gloves or basic hygiene with one staff member also taking a full trashcan to the back in front of us. So appetising! After only 2 bites we binned the rest and left. Save your money, time and effort and go to somewhere else down the road, I am sure there are better places. I would rate it 0 if possible but unfortunately there isn’t an option to.

I’ve been here a couple of times now for 2 years and honestly I can’t really fault it. The food is always warm when I order it and it tastes great. Are the servers less welcoming when it’s busy? Yeah sure but I can’t fault them when they are dealing with 20+ people at once. When you are lucky enough to go when it’s less busy, it is a nice calming experience. Also they improved on the quality of bowls and plates they serve the food in. Samosa chat was £6 but it is a generous portion. Pani puri £3 isn’t so bad for London prices. Will visit again.

The food is pretty bad for the prices that are charged. I had ragda pani puri which wasn't very nice . I wanted to try some of their other chaat offerings but I didn't have the courage to! The service is good. The atmosphere can get very crowded . I would give it a pass. There are much better places around to eat!

Ordered on uber eats and was contacted by the restaurant to tell me that they didn’t have items which I’d ordered and were on their menu. I then asked for them to cancel the order and instead they argued with me and tried to make me get an alternative item instead. I cancelled the order through Uber eats and was still charged. Staff are incompetent. Wouldn’t order again

The food was not so good and the staff was so rude to customers. The food was exchanged by mistakenly by them that’s totally okay it’s happen..but the girl who is on till she was too much rude and was blaming on us instead of apologising.Their behaviour is so arrogant and disrespectful. Staff are very very rude. I asked for 6 glasses of sugar cane juice for take away, and 1 glass to drink at the premises. The lady serving me gave me a very bad look and served me after 10 minutes of waiting. I asked her to add ginger & lemon in the juice and she refused saying they didn’t have any as I was the first customer. When I drank the juice it was stale and had gone off. I complained to her and she told me that there is nothing they can do. Please don’t ever risk buying anything from them as they are selling juice and food that is stale. Never again will I go there.

We ordered Aloo tikki chaat and had the horrific experience while we were eating the tikki. The aloo tikki was tasteless and spoiled and when we went to confront the woman at the counter with so called attitude, she was extremely rude and obnoxious. She wouldn’t admit that the food was not meeting upto the quality standards but, on top of that she accused us of lying. I was very disappointed with the behaviour of the weird lady at the cash counter because, nobody would want to risk their health for £6 ! I would recommend that they should improve the quality of the food, wear hand gloves and hair nets while handling food. I wouldn’t go there after this incident.

One of the employees was wearing earphones the entire time while I was ordering, completely ignoring me, as if she were running a multi-million-dollar business. Her attitude was unacceptable! While waiting for my food, I happened to see the kitchen, and it was absolutely disgusting. The level of hygiene was shocking—the way the staff was handling the food made me lose my appetite completely. After witnessing the unhygienic conditions, I couldn’t even bring myself to eat. Definitely NOT recommended! The food was awful, the service was worse, and the overall experience was a disaster. Stay away!

The worst we have ever tasted 🤢I ordered maru bhajiya but they took money and said we do make maru bhajiya but were normal potato bhajiya full of oil. Took one bite and binned it. The staff were fighting in front of the customers.

Soooo i love Pani puri or gol gappy watever u call it so i got that from this shop but guess what ewww yakiii i found a hair init 🤢 no hygiene they were itching their head n with same hand making food the old lady who was one of the workers didn’t even have gloves on or anything . Thank god I saw the hair before even I had my first bite . Half staff was busy discussing each others house issues n jus one girl was serving made me wait so long as well . NASSSTTYYY PLACE EVERRRR.

Unfortunately, I can’t rate this place more than 1 star. The hygiene is practically non-existent, which is very concerning. The taste of the food/drinks didn’t meet expectations, and the atmosphere was extremely unpleasant. On top of that, the customer service was disappointing, making the overall experience very poor. Proper Indian street food, best pani puri in London.

Hygiene rating is 1, very poor. Staff is manner less. Please avoid!!! The quality and taste is very poor- dabeli had oil dripping with pav bhaji inside- got stomach ache. Paani puri is soggy and all broken from bottom, when complained, they dismissed ignoring us saying it’s fine. Always seen them arguing and fighting with each other inside the stall. They have limited ingredients to make the listed items and everything -syrup in bottles or potato paste in plastic box. Whatever you buy, they will make it using the watery thing in bottles.

Not only is it the tastiest Pani Puri, but it's also the cheapest. Can get a plate for around £2. Highly recommend Dahi Puri as well.

I recently tried the Munchuran dry and found a few areas for improvement. The food didn’t seem properly cooked on the inside, which affected the overall taste. The flavours were a bit off, especially in the Chinese dishes.

Never deliver the order no one is helping to deliver the order . No contact of driver .. if there was issue then why mark it delivered . Called restaurant but they also not helping does it mean you guys only need money no value of customers time emotions . This is harassment

We just had one Dabeli to have quick bite but the Dabeli taste is nowhere near to Dabeli. On top of that charges are too high.

If this review was purely based on the taste of the food, it would be 5 stars. The food is amazing. However, the service is a let down. Staff seem to prioritise serving people from the same background as them. Whenever I have gone, its been the same. Not to mention the side eyes when ordering/speaking to them or just getting ignored.

I visited here on Saturday for Pani Puri. Had the worse diarrhoea and food poisoning. Health and Safety and Hygiene atrocious. Still not recovered. Has anyone else experienced this? Does not deserve star just needed to post for other people to see.

Terrible experience. I ordered pav bhaji and oh my god it was sweet. I never in life had sweet pav bhaji. The other item ordered was vada pav. It was extremely spicy with sweet chutney that we couldn’t eat. And last item was pani puti which was honestly tasty.

Staff is very rude.. especially ankita she is manager there and not responding properly. They are fighting with us without no reason and shouting as well.

I visited 2 times. Panipuri is good, but other foods like Maggi and sweetcorn chat is wrost. Staff are very slow and not serious at work.

I tried bombay sandwich and its not worth £7 taste is okay but as per the ingredients it contains its not worth of £7 because there are some minimal of veggies and sauces which are are in and it’s literally not worth it !! I don’t recommend it because of the price taste is okay okay !!!!

Pani puri puri's were soggy because the potato was probably prefilled in it for a long time. Vadapav was literally a joke! They used the samosa's potato filling for the vada 🤷‍♀️

Food food lovely food. We travelled from Surrey to eat at this place; been there before and will go every so often. Difficult to eat sitting on chair, holding everything in your hand but that’s rakdi experience. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent.

Visited here for the first time on a Friday night. Just after 10pm. Wasn’t very busy. Pani puri had no taste and left a funny after taste in my mouth. Sev puri was the same. Left an odd taste in my mouth. My friend got a dosa and it was think like a pancake rather than thin and crispy. Hygiene isn’t high in the list of priorities as you can evidently see the mess in the kitchen from the front counter. The tables and area outside were a Mess as well. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return.

Stuffing of dhosa is half cooked though lassi is quite acceptable
