Chicken doner burger consisted of two bits of chicken. Very disappointing. Complete rip off I’m afraid.

Quality was good but the cod was extremely small for a medium size… I have purchased same from in the shop several times in person and definitely was not medium… disappointed!!

first time ordering was cheaper than my normal fish and chips go to but thought I try. Not bad but not as good as my usual place.

I ordered MEDIUM cod and I got this thing... I've been alive for 36 years and I've eaten fish and chips many times in different places, but I've never had such a small portion before! This cod was 3x smaller than the smallest portion I have ever bought in my entire life! I don't know if it's a mistake or a joke. When the supplier brought me the packaging, I thought he delivered only paper (it was so light). The average portion of fries was ridiculously small too! Why such high reviews on Google? I advise you to avoid this place! Just extorting money and cheating people!

Worst fish I have had for a long time

Been here 3 days in a row this week, best fish and chips round the area always great food and service

The onion rings were overcooked, fish soggy and sausage in batter chewy all in not very nice

I’ve only known this as a chip shop and since I moved away it has changed hands. We were going to go to The Golden Grill for our kebab only to find it’s temporally closed so someone suggested coming here. A good size portion of meat (chicken and lamb doner), nice salad and chips were freshly cooked, we chose not to have the pitta bread. We sat outside where they have some seating (sturdy plastic garden furniture) which was comfortable., under an awning I’m not one to leave food on my plate but I did leave some of the meat and a couple of chips but only because I was stuffed. Very tasty kebab and nice chips. I will definitely eat here again when we’re next in the area

The food looked and tasted like it had been sitting around and recooked. Disappointing and could not eat even half of it.

the cod doesn’t come with chips even though in the picture it shows chips with it.

Not convinced about the ‘large cod’ never in my years have I seen such a thin cut of fish 3cm width trendy but not worthy of £11 in my opinion..tasty no doubt I must add happy to visit Regans to elaborate

Service is great don’t get me wrong but definitely gone down hill since it’s been taken over it’s feels like the chips have been left there from the afternoon when I walk passed I can see the food in the heater from the afternoon when it’s been open o know they will disagree with this but I have photos I now go to the chip shop in whitton high street as well as my family and friends and it’s cheaper for a start and bigger portions

Over priced for the quality of food

I order from Regans every week without failure. I call ahead of collecting as I know they cook the food fresh upon order. I always request my cod to be skinless and cooked with a light touch of batter. Team never refuse this and always cook to perfection. Thank you guys and I will see you again next week!

I visited Regans today for the first time since the new owners took over. I have to say the service was amazing, very polite and friendly staff. I ordered 2 large cod, 1 battered sausage, 2 large chips and A BATTERED MARS BAR. All cooked to perfection. I was amazed to see that they have expanded on the menu and very impressed by the layout and refurb done. I will be back! Keep it up guys

Amazing food, freshly cooked, crispy batter! 1 of the best things about Regans is they cook all food fresh on order. Very rarely do you see this in a take away shop. I am happy to wait a few minutes knowing my food will be fresh.

The lady that served us was really lovely, sorry to say the food wasn't good, the chips had been reheated,the sausage in batter was awful the sausage was grey and was a wrapped in something more like soggy Yorkshire pudding ...

Been a while since I’ve visited Regan’s but decided to pop in with my wife this evening, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately the food was not great, We got home to find I was given what I assume was a small piece of cod instead of the large that I ordered, the batter was like rubber, the chips were semi edible but nowhere near as nice as I remember them and the savaloy was rock hard, took a few bites and the dog will be getting the rest, this place used to be one of the best fish and chip shops in the area but seems to have gone down hill, not sure what happened

Was the best chippy in Whitton, food always cooked fresh, always a queue at the door and the food always top notch. Recent experience the savaloy and battered sausage were cold, Cod decent, chips didn't taste fresh. Shop seems to be doing more than fish and chips which maybe to it's detriment. Dissapointing visit.

Sorry been to this chippy for years. new owner was still nice same as before been today sorry fish & chips no doesn’t taste nice can’t finish half of my chips they were hard so yes it’s not the same. I will just go to the chippy in Whitton Street sorry (our fish & chips was dry) I wished I did taken the pictures.

Sorry to say I have been going to Regan's for the last 15 years and always find this chippy the best around whitton, Hounslow and Twickenham areas. On my last visit I noticed it was a new owner nothing wrong with it, took my cod and chips, battered sausage and curry sauce just to find how awful the food was. Fish batter is completely different from the previous one it's a thick yellowish batter with no flavour and curry sauce there were some chunks even chips weren't the same. Gutted how the most popular fish and chips establishment in areas degraded not going again, it's really sad though

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the fish (cod) and tried their scampi which is also very good. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!!!!

It's a fish shop. Fish batter was pretty good, crispy and tasty. Fish was very well cooked, not dry. Definitely one of the better fish shops in the area.

Bought a large Cod and Chips, chips were ok but the Cod very bland in taste. Service was friendly.

Didn't know about the new management. Staff very friendly. I ordered the rock which was very nice batter crisp and fish tasted very nice and fresh. Chips however were a bit disappointing, I think they had been kept warm too long. Will visit again though.

The best fish and chips in Whitton. Great portions, crisp fish and flavourful fresh chips. Mark and Wenda always make it a memorable visit and remember not only my regular order but things about me, not to mention other regulars and their football teams, holidays and families.

Great quality. Best fish and chips in Twickenham area. Two things they can improve for an easy 5: 1. Stop using the totally unnecessary polystyrene container. Just wrap the fish and chips up together in the paper. Partly mine and other customers fault for not speaking up. Will next time. Update - changed to cardboard trays a while ago, thank you. 2. Don't make customers with a "special" order queue 15 min to get to the front, and then another 15 for their burger or calamari, or anything else thats not cod. Take some orders from the queue.

Probably the best fish and chips in the area. Though expect a small queue most days, but it is worth the wait.

Best fish and chips I have had in all of the world! I am not joking! Not greasy, flaky perfectly cooked fish every time! If this place ever changes ownership I won’t be able to eat fish and chips anymore!

Fish sizes seem to be very small for the price, been going there as a local for many years, may have to look around in the future. Staff are nice though.

Had cod and chips and a battered sausage and chips here after the Rugby at Twickenham.Being originally from Pembrokeshire (where the best Chippies in the UK are to be found) I didn't have high hopes here in London.Boy was I wrong !! These were the best Fish and Chips I've had outside of Wales.Nice to see a proper traditional Chip shop in London (no Kebabs/Chinese etc) Cracking chips,good batter,well cooked fish and sausage.I would definitely recommend Regan's

Always amazing food from Mark and Wenda, as usual. It's places like Regan's that makes me glad I live in Whitton, just a very solid fish and chip shop that never disappoints. Only current issue is my kids missing their chip lollipops which Wenda normally provides....boo Covid!

Lovely fish and chips, they'll do skin off fish if you ask too. First visit here and just as good as some of the best chippies I grew up near to in Scotland. Will definately be back :)
