We are from Italy and we missed our cuisine. Both the place and the food were really good! I ordered the beef cheek and it was really tender. I also had tiramisù for dessert, which was approved! A nice addition was the sambuca we ordered, which had the 'mosca' inside (2 coffee beans), something that isn't always done even in Italy.

Went to Bacco for dinner during our trip with my friends. First of all we really loved the ambiance and the warm welcome from the staff. The food was super tasty and the service was really quick! Definitely recommend it if you are searching for a good restaurant in Richmond. We are for sure coming back))

A really nice place to have dinner

Argita was the loveliest host and made our experience such an enjoyable one. Delicious food and great atmosphere overall.

Was looking forward to italian and outside looked amazing, menu also looked like lots of options for gluten free. Sadly what let the place down was the service. We got sat without menus which took them 8 min to realise and give us some. When they came around they seemed really put out we were not going to have any alcohol with our meal. We got our starters and it was promising. Let down by main as the risotto looked like it had been plopped onto a plate and the chicken was very basic. When we had finished there was no offer of dessert menu and no one came back. At 10 min we managed to find someone to ask for menus and finally got them 8 min later.

Booked to eat here before going to see a play at the Orange Tree Theatre which is almost next door. The restaurant is extremely handy for the theatre and when we booked we let them know it was for pre-theatre and they were clearly well geared up for this. they had a set two course-menu which was ideal and we were served promptly and efficiently so that we didn't feel rushed before the show. The food was simple and nothing particularly special and portions were modest, but it did the job very well.

The pasta is truly delicious, and the restaurant is small and cozy with excellent service—you just need to catch or stop the waiter. The main thing is, don’t sit near young British women; they’re so loud that I actually started drinking. By the way, the extra dry rosé wine was really quite good—thanks to the staff for the recommendation! P S Got home and tried the tiramisu—amazing! Too bad they didn’t give me the panna cotta.

I came in with my work colleagues, a table of 24. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, my halal diet was catered to so i was pleased.our hostess Argita was incredible and attentive. Will be back soon.

Food is very good and freshly made. Staff are very friendly. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere as its overhead lighting in the back of the restaurant ( which is quieter) is quite harsh and bright .

I ordered Risotto with Asparagus Spears today but my order which I placed via Just Eat was cancelled by the restaurant - very unprofessional behaviour! Why do you advertise on Just Eat if you can't deliver the order?

Authentic Italian Must Try 🇮🇹 Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had today. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! I’m still dreaming about my Tuffle Pasta ❤️ The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. I can’t wait to come back again!

Dining here has been such a great experience. I attended last weekend for Rugby day and the food was great, specially taking into account the rush on those days. Great work by Arguita who helped us with our choices and made our experience so much better. We will come back in the future with our daughter as it seems also a kids friendly restaurant. I took my partner here to celebrate our 8th anniversary. The food was amazing indeed, tough what made me come here to leave a review is The lovely Lady Who looked after us. Good food you can find in many places but costumer service like hers i dont see that often LARISA i really hope your BOSS treat you as good as you treat your costumers. THANK You for everything

Went here for a lunch pre-theatre and took the set lunch as it was genuinely the most appealing! Everything was delicious - the tagliatelle was especially fantastic. The only mild grumble was that the calamari starter was not that crisp - but my mum does like to find fault… 🙄

First time visiting here and it was recommended to me by an Italian colleague. The food was absolutely delicious the lamb and truffle pasta was exception and we had a number of starters which were all lovely. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, this place is a real gem.

Amazing place for an authentic dinner, exceptional service and food

Surprisingly good food - I thought no dish failed to deliver. We began with a few starters - the zucchini fritti, calamari, and truffle arancini. The zucchini was relatively flavourful and went nice with the calamari mayonnaise. The calamari was excellent, being crisp and yet not chewy whatsoever. I found the truffle arancini to have too strong of a flavour, but the mayonnaise mellowed it - still was quite nice. Then, we had our mains - truffle pasta (al tartufo nero) and the lamb ragú. In my opinion the ragú was some of the best I’ve had - a good ragú is relatively rare in the UK - no smell and a wonderfully balanced flavour. The truffle pasta was quite nice, but needed some more flavour as the truffle overpowered the dish - I would’ve liked a little more Parmesan flavour within the sauce - it came with a Parmesan tuile (bowl) which was too strong but went well with the pasta and the sauce which gave it the flavour it needed. Finally, we had dessert - tiramisu and affogato. The tiramisu was excellent - light and the alcohol flavour was subtle (balanced well), and the affogato was tasty as it came with a wonderful vanilla ice cream, but there was a lot of it. It seemed to be in excess, but the espresso balanced it perfectly. Overall, I would recommend calamari, ragú and tiramisu, but the rest of the dishes were still good - there were minor details which could be improved, but still worthy of a 5-star review.

Decent food offering with friendly service. Pavement side dining area wasn’t too close to road & there was planted barrier too to limit road noise & traffic seasoning intrusion. Allowance of dogs into eating area though means no return with questions of hygiene raised.

Visited Bacco last night with a group of 7 of us and we were very pleased with not only the food but the excellent staff too. Quality of the dishes were fabulous and from starter to main course couldn't fault any of the dishes. Staff were really warm and friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordering off the set menu gets you smaller portions... so its not really an offer.... You're paying less as youre getting less🤔🙄🤔 Should make it clearer on the menu... Overall standard of food was VERY good. Wine is expensive.....a cheap Savingnon Blanc was 30 quid but its Richmond where everyone is used to paying OTT... Service was excellent... Sitting outside is noisY with traffic and planes going over but was pleasant and a good vibe. 2 couples Monday lunch £190 so top end prices

My husband and I went to Bacco for lunch and we had the most wonderful time! Tanya and Felix took care of our table and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. By the end of the day, we had shared stories and had some good laughs as well! And of course, the food is delicious ;) We both had pasta and a starter and left satisfied and with full bellies. Lastly, our favorite of all was the wonderful Larissa! Another waitress taking care of the opposite section. She brought the most joyful and lovely atmosphere to the restaurant. She makes you feel part of the family. We highly highly recommend Bacco!

My family and I happened to be hungry coming back from Hampton Court, we were headed back to our Airbnb and Bacco was a happy surprise for us! We popped in, didn’t have a reservation and the service, food and even the patrons of the restaurant were all 5 stars. We ate outside on their lovely patio. The food was absolutely delicious, and was served in perfect timing. As we left the owners took a picture for us of our family. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you for an amazing night out! We have so many great memories now of London and you can be sure when we come back we’ll be popping over to eat at Bacco again. xoxo

Liked this restaurant a lot - close to the train station so easy to find, great staff who were very welcoming and a great selection of food that was prepared quickly.

We loved our meal here,and it is very convenient for the Orange Tree theatre. The Uova poche with asparagus is beautifully presented and delicate; and I had the risotto with prawns for my mains. Very tasty. Two of my friends had the parmesan cheese basket with truffle pasta, which is delicious although rather small. Excellent Verdicchio to go with everything.

I recently discovered an Italian restaurant, Bacco, in London. It is located near Richmond Railway Station. This place impressed me with its excellent Italian cuisine and the friendliness of its staff. As someone who has lived in Italy for several years, I highly recommend their authentic Italian dishes. I was pleased to chat in Italian with a very friendly waitress named Argita. I will definitely come again.

Great service, very nice atmosphere, and divine food. Argita was an excellent host, and she was able to provide a top-notch service to a 14 of us. The manager was always checking if we needed anything. We will definitely visit again.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Bacco restaurant while visiting London! We enjoyed the food and service there. We tried a variety of delicious dishes, from pasta with black truffle and seafood to starters like zucchini fritti, arancinis, fried goat cheese, crispy baby calamari, and bruschetes. The restaurant's location near Richmond station and the Orange Tree Theater worked well for us during our trip. Exploring new and delicious dishes can truly enhance a travel experience. I would highly recommend Bacco for a delicious meal.

The service here was fairly haphazard. There was an overwhelming smell of fish at the venue. The food was pretty underwhelming, the bruschetta was nice if a bit mean on the burrata, the seafood pasta was as overcooked and oily, not a great combo, the pana cota was very nice. Lastly, I asked for a decaf coffee and was served caffeinated espresso, thanks for the sleepless night and the indigestion. Absolutely, would not return 👎

Had a brilliant pre theatre meal which is up there with some of the best Italian food ever had. The tiramisu especially was a like eating cloud!

Hands down I was more than satisfied with the service and the food, which by the way was amazing. The atmosphere is literally like in Tuscany.

The food was disappointing, we expected good quality Italian cuisine. We ordered two pasta dishes. It turned out that some parts stated in the menu were missing, like octopus, while squid was in traces. The sauce was basically butter with some chilli. The portions were small. In the end, the waiter did not want to divide the bill into 2 separate receipts and made the situation uncomfortable. All together, way too expensive for what they offer, wouldn't come back to that restaurant.

I expected more from this classy looking restaurant in Richmond. I did not like the olives, or the almonds, or the bread. The tapwater served was not cold and this was a hot day. The main courses and desserts were good. Official Food Hygiene Regulations - Scores On The Doors - they score 5 out of 5. Outside tables.

It’s an impressive place where you can serve delicious food from Italian recipes, I was especially impressed with the seafood paste. You can also enjoy quality drinks, I recommend you to taste their wine, it’a special one. A pleasant and harmonious atmosphere with a kind and friendly staff. Go and enjoy a piece of Italy in London. For sure, we will return to this restaurant as many times as we have the opportunity.

I was there on Saturday’s evening and can’t recommend the place enough! The service and food are exceptional. You don’t need to travel to Italy 🇮🇹 to have a delicious pasta and tiramisu. They care about each of the customers. I was there with my friend and it felt so comfortable. The restaurant is nearby train station and what I admire is that you can’t hear the street noise outside and have a calm conversation in a cozy place.

I visited recently and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I was served by a slender black gentleman who was very well spoken. He made me feel very welcome and offered spectacular service. He was also very well informed of the wines, would definitely come back, just for his service, and of course of the food.

We had a really lovely lunch here yesterday. The service was great, really relaxed but not slow. Waitress was lovely. The food was delicious. We had the pasta with Ox cheek and the chicken Milanese. Both lovely.

We came here without a reservation and they were down a few staff members so this could have affected our experience. The food was slow to come out and was over salted. The staff whilst friendly was only down to one person (!) on a busy afternoon, with the bartender helping but poorly (walked around avoiding eye contact). Not sure if I’d recommend this place, with plenty of other options around.

Just had the most divine lunch at Bacco. It’s wonderful to have authentic Italian food at very reasonable prices in Richmond. We had zucchini fritti as a starter, followed by the best seafood pasta I’ve tasted ever. The pasta was al dente (perfectly cooked) and the mixed seafood, was generous, including clams, giant prawns, and octopus in the most delectable sauce. It was visually beautiful and we followed it with the most delicious cheesecake. You can sit outside under an awning, and the decor is relaxed and appealing. This is authentic Italian food at its very best.
