The food from here is always delicious, both takeaway and dining in. The restaurant is very small but what they lack in space they make up for in lovely food and wonderful service. Would recommend to anybody wanting a reasonably priced curry night.

My partner & I visited the restaurant tonight for the first time as we're not from the local area. I can honestly say that our meal was just THE BEST we've had from start to finish. We've been to so many Indian restaurants in the UK whilst on our weekend travels, which we do quite regularly so we've sampled lots of restaurants. The service was great and the waiters were very attentive, knowledgeable and professional. The meal was not only tasty but so fresh and served exactly how we wanted it. Thank you to you all and compliments to the chef.

My husband and I have used Redditch Spice for years, eat in and take aways. The food is always amazing and the staff there are very friendly. We recommend them to everyone and they all say how good the food is too. Highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed. 🙂

Great food friendly staff and prices was cheap considering inflation

Haven't been here for around 15 years or more. The food was excellent, the price was great and the service was good. I will definitely be coming again soon.

First time coming in, recommended by a number of friends and I was not disappointed. Had to sit in the back due to the busy rush hour and it was perfect. Away from all the noise in our own secluded little area, and everything just got better. Amazing service matched with amazing food and a flavourful atmosphere. Don’t waste any time and book in now cause it is so worth it, Good Job Redditch Spice.

Chicken tikki wasn't even tikka it was a pink sweet tasting sauce and popadoms tasted old like they had been sat there for hours after being cooked, texture was stale and tasted like oil, it was disgusting

Good food, tendency to leave whole pods of cardamom and star anise in rice dishes, which is something to be aware of. Their house specials are great, especially with egg fried rice

Celebration with our family to celebrate my son's birthday. Lovely staff, service was great, food was lovely and we could bring our own drinks. It has been a couple of years since we last had a meal at Redditch Spice. The restaurant looks nice and modern inside, ideal for a family get together or night out with friends. We will definitely visit again soon.

Amazing service and so attentive. Been coming here for years. Recently not as impressed over use of clearly frozen sliced garlic has overpowered the recent 4 dishes I have tried. Shame.

Nice Indian, and were very accommodating. Went at a quiet time with our 4 month old daughter and was served fast and the food fresh (and delicious).

Just had chicken biriani. Not much chicken..was dry and bland popadom soft..garlic Naan not tasty. Very dissapointed

First time trying this restaurant out following recommendations from family and friends and simply WOW. Aromatic curries with fluffy naans , honestly could not fault a thing. The restaurant itself is very cosy and my kids loved the lighting inside the restaurant. Very understanding staff considering my wife cannot eat gluten, Robbie came over and went through all the dishes individually to help her understand which dishes would be suitable for her dining experience. We ordered a take out for our anniversary this evening. I have eaten in the restaurant in the past (couple of years ago) and thought the food was lovely. However, our food was super disappointing tonight 😔 the balti really lacked flavour and was almost watery. We were gutted, we looked forward to our meal and it just felt like a total waste of money. Unfortunately it has put us off ordering again. I would not recommend

Had a takeaway, food was cold, korma was watery and all had bad bellies after. Asked to pay part on card after ordering online and told had to be cash. Poor service and poor food quality won't be returning

Ordered chicken Rogan Josh, pretty sure it was a mix of 2 different curries, meat was dry and clearly not freshly cooked and tasteless. Very expensive for the poor quality it was.

First come first serve. Bring your own alcohol as they do not have licence to serve. A Co-Op is available next door open until 10pm. It tends to get busy during rush hour 6-8pm on weekends, I would advise booking reservations and placing an order in advance to receive them on time. Online bookings may not be received. To be safe, give the restaurant a call to confirm your booking after 5:30pm. They offer a 10% discount for collection orders. Through their website you are able to place a delivery or collection order and receive a free starter (Ch Tikka, Onion Bhaji or Veg/Meat Samosa) acceptable for cash payments only. Cash is king. The cost for a meal would average £15-£20 including a curry, naan and rice per person. Delivery charges are given for those who live 3+ miles away from the restaurant. The restaurant often receive a high inflow of orders which may delay servings/deliveries which will increase collection/delivery times to ensure all customers receive their orders accordingly. If arriving by a vehicle, customers may be informed to wait in their vehicle while their order is being prepared and have it delivered to them during rush hours on weekends. For those wanting a quick meal or a family dinner, I would refer to Redditch Spice to spend time with colleagues and friends. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to those passing by Redditch and Bromsgrove. Party bookings are available for large gatherings, book in advance - a deposit may be required to ensure the booking is secured. Price may vary from competition however it is up to you to decide on feedback.

Visiting family in the area as I do live up in London. And to my surprise the food, the atmosphere and the staff were perfect. They greeted us nicely and even recommended their new dishes that were recently added to the menu. The Bengal king prawn roast was absolutely heavenly and i will make sure to only come to Redditch Spice whenever i’m back to visit my family.

Thought the chilli chicken starter was oily/ greasy. poppadoms was on soft side. main course garlic chicken takeaway sag towa was amazing & nan bread too.

Small place but packs a good atmosphere, service is great and lovely foot that won't blow your head off, unless you want it and then it could !!

We slept in a hotel nearby while passing through and because we were in the mood for Indian, we preferred to eat here rather than in the hotel - which was a great idea. Great quality, you can also eat well on site, there is no alcohol service, but you can bring your own beer from the CoOp next door if you like. Fast, friendly and competent service, quickly and freshly prepared, thank you very much. We'll definitely come back at our next stop and look forward to it!

First time here, nice enough, foods pretty good. It took a while for the food to come out, but the place was packed. All in all a good evening.

Not only was the food was excellent but the service was amazing, especially the person who served us Ahmed he really looked after us, I will definitely be back!

Excellent takeaway. They said it would be 90 minutes and were bang on time. Couldn't find our address at first but rang up and were very polite. Lovely quality food with complimentary poppadoms! Would recommend and use again.

Great little place. Food is always tasty and the team there really do look after you. It's a simple place with no airs or graces but you can bring in your own beer or wine so the prices are keen too.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this restaurant deserved it we had a delightful evening, we called last minute for a booking and they managed to squeeze us in and we were very glad they did, the food was exceptional, poppadoms were crunchy and fresh and so were the dips they came with. We all ordered several different curries to mix and match and every single one was Spot On!! The best Lamb jalfrezi i’ve ever had and the staff were super friendly, every single one treated us kindly and made sure we were happy with the service they provided, we will definitely back ;) hopefully going to try the vindaloo next time which the manager Ahmed recommended.

Perfection honestly, can see why they claim to be the best in Redditch, the staff were very friendly and welcoming to both my wife and myself, the taller chap with glasses, was very tendering to our needs. The starters were perfect, the mains honestly the best we’ve ever had (we eat indian A LOT), the staff then gave us lovely hot towels to end the night after a splendid evening. We Will DEFINITELY be back and have been recommending to everyone.

Attending a wedding reception in the evening nearby, so decided to pop here as a group of 5 for an early dinner. Restaurant completely empty but we knew we were in for a treat as the reviews were fantastic and the staff seemed friendly......UNTIL we ordered. We chose to order poppadums to start followed by three main dishes and lots of sides. After a few minutes we were informed unless we ordered a main course each, we would have to leave. We politely explained that we were having three mains and all just trying some with a multitude of sides as two of the party didn't eat much, but were again told this wasn't acceptable and we needed a main each or we would have to pay a table charge.... (remember, the restaurant was completely empty at this point). We paid for our poppadums and left. Never EVER have I experienced this - suffice to say, we will NOT be back. Do not attend unless hungry enough to eat a whole curry each. Sharing is not caring at Reddich Spice.....

I don't like to complain however the service was terrible. We ordered starters for 5 people which took over 50 minutes. There were 10 other people in the restaurant but there were 3-4 deliveroo and just eat drivers that came and went at least twice as well as take away orders even after us asking where our starters were. It took almost 3 hours to have starters and mains with no apology and no manager to speak to. By the time we left we decided next time we'd book a table and order online for delivery at Redditch Spice. No customer service and the food all tasted the same even though we ordered different mains. Disappointed 😧

The food was fine. The service, however, was diabolical, and sadly completely detracted from our enjoyment of the evening. Desperately slow, although take away orders seem to be flowing out of the door swiftly enough. The staff were utterly disinterested.

This is a very outdated place, what I would call a traditional Indian restaurant, however nothing India about it. This is a typical Bangladeshi run restaurant, however I would not define the food as Bangladesh food either. Basically this restaurant has been held in a time warp for the last 30yrs, however to be honest it is in Redditch, where? Exactly! To describe this place accurately it's the sort of place that is reminiscent of types of India restaurants seen in the 80's and 90's, the food is specifically catered for for a British pallet, the food lacks any authentic taste, any actual heat or spice, everything is over coloured with red food colouring, so everything has that fluorescent red glow, the sort of curry a larger lout would eat after a binge drinking session on a Friday night. I wasn't impressed, for the price point the food was edible, and the only part I enjoyed was the nostalgic feeling that I was left with from my distance past, they even served flat coke, which these places were notorious for. If I'm honest the papodoms at the start were probably the best bit. I think this place survives as there is no actual competition or choice. I think the venue should consider uping their game and start serving a more authentic menu, and stop serving cola out of bottles, move over to cans 🤣. This place belongs as a distance memory, and should be left in the past. Sorry, Indian restaurants have evolved, move on like everyone else has at least outside of Redditch...

I ordered over £30 worth of food and after 2 hours it still hadn't arrived. I phoned them and was left abandoned on the phone. I hung up and phoned back and they were rude and refused my refund. Awful service!!

Just got back from redditch spice, 5 of us, really enjoyed our meals, staff were lovely, very friendly, everyone enjoyed the evening, great place to go for a brilliant Indian meal,,loads too eat 😀

We order from this curry house a minimum of twice a month and have always had great food. Service is friendly & efficient. I have also ordered from the chefs menu and can't sing enought praise on the flavours and quality. Bring or buy your own drinks from the shop next door as they are not licenced to sell anything alcoholic. A great team serving the best, freshest Curries in Redditch in my book.
