Winyates Chippy in Redditch

Food wasn't great for the price and poor value for money. The chips were slightly underdone anaemic looking and had had a few hard ones. The mushy peas were watery I should have just done my own tinned ones at least they are not mostly juice and cost much less. The fish was good. Normally better food food form here they must be having a bad night. Not sure I will order again and risk it.

Consistently delivers delicious food always hot and no mistakes a very good chippy always hot and good . There are others not so consistent and more expensive not giving value for money . If you go in person to this place you are greeted as soon as you go in ❤️

Wow !! Totally impressed with the freshness and taste!

No complaints with Just Eat but large cod was not really large. Will use Just Eat again but probably not from Winyates Chippy.

Chips were not hot just warm and 1 sausage had no batter , curry sauce was thin and wartery and batter on roe was limp not crispy

arrived cold & the large cod was more small but overloaded on the chips to make up for the fish!! Disappointing & not cheap 😑

As a regular customer, I have always found the food to be of a good quality and well cooked, and the staff friendly.

Good portion, tasty, fast delivery for a Friday at 6pm. However, the fish and chips were cold when they arrived :(

The bottle of coke was not sent out with the driver, I would like this refunded please.

Unfortunately they delivered Donner Meat and chips and I ordered Chicken Meat and chips. Just a simple checking of the order would have resolved this. Disappointing.

Smallest piece of large cod yet - and absolutely dripping in grease like the chips. Oil not hot enough by quite some stretch. Small thing but no salt and vinegar despite requesting it.

Never disappoints large cod and chips

Great fish and chips. Really enjoyed, as always.

Food was overall tasty but from one of the kebabs half of the chicken was on the bottom of the bag (got picture) and on the other lamb was cut in three big stripes instead of few thin one so it was looking like the amount of it was way too small. Will have to check it with the scale next time.

Ordered a large kebab meet and chips which was expensive at £10.30. What was received was abysmal in size. Very disappointed for the price 👎

Best chippy in the Ditch by far

Delivery was nit delivered to my address at 75 Easemore Road Redditch but delivered elsewhere so that is my money now lost.

Food good as always but waiting time is not acceptable. 30min later then it should.

I have had bigger mini cods for £6 than I got for 20 from this place. Not impressed, won't be returning.

The food was good quality, but very small portions for the price and extremely skimpy on sauce, so quite dry. I had chicken kebab meat and chips and my husband had a donner in a pita bread. £10.30 for each and both came in small cartons. Two th it’s of mine was chips, so I pretty much paid £10 for a potato.

The food was barely warm and pretty much inedible. I won’t be ordering again. Sadly.

Food - usually it was half chips half meat...this time meat was max30% as it was cut to the small pieces and chips were underneath :/ Delivery - made an order for 7pm got it 7:26..so it's way too much of the waiting :/

I didn't get my large curry just chicken nuggets, chips was cold and bird brest was cold and overcooked

Small mini fish certainly mini only 1 fork full now go to Studley chipy much better quantity

Great food! First time ordering, fancied something delivered after a very long day. The prices seemed good value. I ordered mini cod, chips and curry sauce. When it arrived, the portion was plenty, and the food tasted great. Chips were a little bit anaemic but tasted nice all the same. Delivery was nice and quick, too.

Wouldn’t suggest this place to my worst enemy. £11 for a tray of donner meat and chips, which was all chips with about 3 pieces of donner meat. Asked for sauce which was non existent. And not to mention the sheer amount of grease on everything, I get it’s a chippy but if I wanted to eat oil I would’ve asked for a cup of it. £20 for a load of rubbish absolute scandal

RIP of chippy I ordered large chips but was sent a small to medium size and that was very costly to my family who was looking forward to this late lunch. Also very late than usual which can be understandable but portion sizes for the price in comparison to another chippy on similar par is poor. So start increasing portion sizes or people will go elsewhere
