Red Spice, Clapham in Lambeth

We received the wrong items and the paneer did not come. They put loads of frozen vegetables instead of the vegan chicken we requested, the veg was mushy overall the meal was horrid. Service over the phone was also terrible, I enquired where the order was and was spoken to in a rude fashion without any real confirmation

This restaurant claims to have an extensive vegan menu. I ordered the quorn madras - 15 mins before my order was due to arrive, I got a phonecall from the Chef to say that not only had they no quorn but they had no vegan options at all (listed on their menu is: quorn, tofu, this isn't chicken, and many other vegan brands). He said he would try and ask some of the shops locally if they'd give him any tofu (which I thought was rogue) and then called me back 10 mins later to say they wouldn't. So, I ended up with a vegetable madras, The spice was very mild for a madras which was very disappointing. To rectify the mistake, I would have been happy if some extras had been thrown into the order. They hadn't. All in all, a very bad experience. I would not recommend.

1 stop shop for vegan and meat eaters so my wife and I are both happy and the food is awesome.

Delivery window latest 21:05, website said delivered 20:50 but no sign of food. Phone number on JustEat for restaurant is incorrect. Found the right number and took 2 phone calls to restaurant to sort out. Food really cold when it arrived. Restaurant also seems to have changed its name/is a different one now.

Food was not that great, I always order a chicken curry however today the curry was tasteless & watery. Not nice The food was much better when the shop was called Red spice I think maybe you need to get the chef back into there new shop. The only thing that was nice was the roti.

Was so happy to find them back on just eat.My fave place for excellent tasting food , layers of flavours .Best dhal with gentle garlic through it .Highly recommend ordering .Plenty of delicious vegan options

Food was very average, very bland and lacked flavour and heat (both spice and temperature). Onion bhaji’s were over cooked and crisp couldn’t cut or bite into them.

Excellent customer service .There was a slight delivery day ( not the restaurants fault ) I had a call to explain whilst still in the delivery slot .Then an in person apology for such a slight delay .They really appreciate their customers .Order from here you won’t be disappointed

Full Tandoori Chicken was tasty albeit maybe a little small. Prawn puree quite bland. Chicken Tikka Karahi was very disappointing. £1.50 for extra mix vegetables I expected in a side pack, but it seemed to be at the expense of meat in the usual curry foil box, and the wet veg diluted the curry to a whimper - was expecting garlic and ginger explosion but got nothing. Also, no mint sauce or salad as promised with the starters. Overall disappointing 3/6.

This was the first time ordering from here, having read all the good reviews first I decided to go for it...well unfortunately 😕 I was pretty disappointed.I ordered pilau rice, lamb chops chilli garlic masala,chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Let me start with the chilli garlic masala. I honestly thought I was eating some sort of onion curry dish! Reason being it had way too much onion in it that I could barely taste any masala/sauce as the onions were over powering the dish. And the lamb was very chewy, I hate eating chewy lamb and results in being bloated for days! I only tried one piece and couldn't eat the rest. Tikka masala was ok however it did nothing for my taste buds, consistency was gritty looking and not the smooth consistency I would expect for a tikka masala. The pilau rice was just ok, and nan bread was too thick in my opinion. I payed for 1 poppadom and received a couple extra for free so that was good service from the restaurant and nice of them! Overall wasn't my cup of tea, might be yours!

I usually order from this place and food is always fresh and tasty, but am kinda deisaapointed today, as for the first time ive ordered prawn karahi, and it only had one prawn!!! I also usually order lamb karahi, today it only came with two small pieces of lamb.. It was lije ordering veg karahi.. I don't know what's going on.. But kinfa dissapointed

Normally the food is amazing today not so good didn't enjoy it one lil bit everything tasted re - cooked the bottle of coke was flat and really warm no idea what happened but very unsatisfied this time round.

Overpriced .tasteless food. I fail to understand how come they have good reviews. Quality of food was the worst. There was no taste.now I know the restaurant I need to avoid once in London. One who never makes a mistake never makes a discovery.

The food wasn’t amazing. The lamb chops were to hard to chew on. The sheesh kebabs were dry. Loved the chicken tikka they were moist.

When ordering I forgot to order the rice silly me but I couldn’t add rice to my order due to a 5 pound minimum card order even though I’d just spent more than that, never mind my own fault

The food was fresh and very delicious (..,or I was very hungry) the portions are generous too. The delivery man got lost but he was so polite and we had a good chat - socially distanced of course! I will definitely order again. Thank you for such a wonderful service and these challenging times.

Hands down best curry in Clapham. I’ve lived here for over 8 years and haven’t found better. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. The Farsi and coconut curries are two of my favourites. Very friendly staff also.

Honestly the best Indian we have found in London. Not greasy, great taste, full of flavour, everything hot and delicious and even free popadoms and chutney. Have tried loads of the menu and haven’t had a bad dish! Saag paneer is stand out ! Really couldn’t recommend this place enough

10/10 I cannot fault anything! Ive been searching for the perfect Indian takeaway in the area for years and I have finally found it!!! This is the third time we’ve ordered from Red Spice and every time it has been perfect. Such flavourful food, you can tell that a lot of care has been put into each dish. I have never strayed from my usual order but Red Spice is so good that it has made me order a new dish each time, I have full trust that whatever I order will be delicious and I haven’t been disappointed! Can’t recommend the saag baaji or the paneer tikka enough!
