Great food, and great service as usual.

One of my favourite Thai restaurants in the area! Affordable, great food and lovely service.

The food is excellent quality and arrived very fresh and hot. I expect this because the food is at a premium cost.

Decent. Authentic in their own way. Had the Herbal Rice which I've never had before, it was pretty goood. The green curry was msg sweet and spicy! Hence the 3.5. But for a Thai restaurant in C.Palace, it's a decent spot. Service was lovely! Stayed open a little bit longer so I could pick up my order. Thanks Thai Crystal 🙏🏾

Had a lovely meal here. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were knowledgeable and happy to give me tips about Thai cooking. Refilling our water without needing us to ask. Happy to make us the dish without any chilli upon request. The food was good sized portions, tasty and quality. I had a lovely big glass noodles dish and they were happy to give me the leftovers, and a delicious banana fritter dessert. Would definitely go back!

The Penang curry and pad Thai were amazing and I’m sure all the other food options are too. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food every time we order!

Best and most authentic Thai in the area. Staff and friendly and attentive and the food is very tasty. Recommend the Red Curry, the Penang Curry and the Bok Choi in garlic but to be honest everything I've tried on the menu is banging. This is my go-to Thai restaurant. They also offer takeaway.

Quiet place for a lunch. Good menu and service

Popped in without a booking after seeing their sign advertising lunch. We opted for the 2 course lunch special and were very impressed. Chicken satay and fish cakes to start followed by chicken masaman and stir fry cashews, both with rice. All dishes were delicious, very good portion size and reasonably priced. 25 pound all up. There were a few tables occupied and service was very good. If we lived locally I would be returning.

The food was amazing as usual! I was just a little bit disappointed with the rice that wasn't as good as usual. But the prawn crackers were better than usual!

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Crystal Palace and I consistently gave it 5 stars when I ordered in. My first order since the new management took over was a pad thai prawn. It was ok but nowhere near as good as it used to be with the previous management unfortunately. In my opinion that makes it overpriced for what it is, given that there are better and cheaper options in the area. I may try few other dishes though, hoping I'like them better than the pad thai

Food is very below average, at best. Very overpriced for what you get, many of the meat dishes such as the rib starter tasted reheated and not very tasty. On average the meals cost between £15-20, for a very small portion. Spent £255 there, do not listen to the good reviews, they are extremely outdated. Very disappointing, will not be coming back.

Amazing place to have good asian food. There jungle curry is amzing but not for people who can't handle spices well. Chicken satay and dumplings were amazing as well.

Very yummy set lunch today. Seems like they started weekday lunch 2 courses from £11. Had duck spring rolls, sesame prawn toast. Best was thai red curry chicken, after that green chicken curry. Thank you!

I love this place, so happy that Thai Crystal has re-opened. I have high standards for Thai food and I have never had a bad dish here. I will be back again asap.

Visited after hearing the lovely Nim has taken over running the restaurant again after a couple of years absence. Was a busy Friday night and food was lovely as always. Highly recommend

absolutely disappointed with the crying tiger 20 pound for something that wouldn't fill up a shrimp hardly any vegetables and smallest bit of steak which was like rubber no where need medium, the gai Kew also might aswell not put any chicken in the bread crumbs disgusting.

Absolutely lovely, from start to finish. Food is yummy and the service is 10/10 Nim (owner) makes you feel so welcome & can’t do enough for you. Such a nice relaxing atmosphere with light thai music in the background which takes you away, which we enjoyed our food even more. See you again soon 😊

Normally really nice but it looked completely different this time. The sauce was very oily and a different colour and the chicken was yellow. I am very disappointed they have definitely gone down and not the same nice delivery guy anymore

Recommend the tofu green curry. Spicy, munchy tofu, crunchy veg, yum.

The chicken in the pad Thai was very dry…I wouldn’t order again! Delivery driver got lost and I had to guide her on the phone for what felt like ages!

Quality of the food it’s bad. It’s not fresh at all. I’ll advise anyone not to waste their money or time on this place.

Great food for a casual evening out. The food tasted great and authentic. So flavourful. Highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back too.

I placed an order through just east which never arrived. Called the restaurant that told me they would remake my order and send it shortly. Called them again 1 hour later to know where my food was, they closed the phone on me. Called them back straight away, they picked up and then closed the phone again as soon as I said hello. Called them 10 more times and they never picked up. They switched off the phone so I cannot place any other calls. Extremely poor and childish behaviour, very disappointed. I have never raised my voice or have been abusive in any ways. I only wanted to know if the order was on its way since it was 9:30pm and I needed to decide what to do. I never asked them to replace my order, they offered to do it so that makes it even more disappointing.

Photos looked lovely, website seemed great, booked a table 6 days in advance for Sunday lunchtime seating at 1245. Restaurant calls at 1150 on the day of the booking saying they can't host the booking, when asked if it was due to short staff, the caller was rude, being adamant they don't have a Sunday seating or takeaway for lunchtime. When asked why it was available to book on the website and receive a table confirmation, apparently that was it was my mistake. Do not recommend at all. Very poor.

Greasy & flavourless. Nothing authentic about the cuisine.

We visited this restaurant, but it was a very bad idea... they sell frozen, spoiled food. The servers are very rude and condescending. Not only with the guests, but also with the couriers. I don't recommend anyone to go here.

I’ve NEVER written a review about food but THIS absolutely blew my mind the vegetable spring rolls are the best I have ever tasted I also got the salt chilli wings & garlic pepper stir fry with chicken & prawns it was sooo beautiful honestly hats off to the chef

Good food, reasonable price. Not a great cozy place with delivery drivers and orders going out from front door... but did the job. Left very satisfied with cononut rice and prawn stir fry.

On the plus side, very prompt delivery and food was hot. However, the Red curry was bland as was the Kai kaprow and the Pad Thai was very average. Very disappointed.

Really enjoyed our experience at Thai Crystal. The food was tasty and the staff were very friendly. We shared the corn cakes and dim sum to start, then we had the Tamarind Duck Stir Fry, the Garlic and Pepper Stir Fry and the Sizzling Duck dishes for main.

Very excited to try new Thai restaurant but this is not Thai food. The dishes were bland and tasteless with no authentic flavours. The chicken was indistinguishable from the pork, both were grey, tough and just not nice - we had to leave all the meat. The 'sauces' were simply thin, watery soy sauce. Thai cuisine is magnificent, the food here bears no resemblance to that, it's just inexcusably lazy fodder.

This is my third time dining here, the food was amazing as usual and the staff is extremely pleasant.

Came to Thai Crystal a few weeks ago with my mother for her birthday. (Bit late!) Service by Omi was lovely, food was very tasty & Omi even put a candle in my mum's dessert which was a lovely touch!

Great Thai restaurant. We often come here for lunch on a Sunday. The staff are really friendly. We've never been disappointed so far. We have visited Thailand on several occasions and very much enjoy Thai cuisine, and this is pretty good. Not overly expensive and have some good deals on the Express Menu. Very much recommended.

Food wasn’t the best but it was edible. The portions are quite small. A bit overpriced for what you receive. I’ve never been to a local Thai restaurant and you have to pay extra if you want prawns in your pad Thai( I’m guessing you probably had to pay more for seasoning as it was tasteless and dripping in oil.). I’m certain I won’t be ordering from this place again. I was quite disappointed.

I had a lovely lunch with my friends after the Crystal Palace running event today. I had the 3 course meal from the set menu. Fish cakes, green curry and a bottle of sprite. My friend had grilled chicken from the normal which was tastier than my green curry. I would like to come back to try out the dishes in the normal menu as there is a better variety of dishes compared to the set menu.

Had a lovely lunch here today. It was a very pleasant experience. Will come back if in the area.

Dropped in without booking. Place was busy but they fitted us in. Always such a warm and polite welcome. Food tasted just as it does in Thailand. Delicious!

MICROWAVED? I think the Ribs starter had been Microwaved; meat usually sweats that way when it’s microwaved. The restaurant was busy with motorcycle drivers coming in & out for deliveries and so their kitchen was under pressure to fulfil so many orders. The food was below average, our Roast Duck starter is one of the most disappointing I’ve ever had;dry & very crunchy not crispy. The service was unfriendly (particularly a Middle aged woman there;probably the Boss) you don’t feel welcome. It’s probably best not to go there between 6-8pm because they’re too busy and so you’re just an inconvenience to them during those hours. I had to leave my table 3 times to go ask for additional drinks. Toilet was clean and had a nice fragrance to it. We spent £170 as a group of 4. I won’t be coming back to this restaurant, I think there are better options in the area.

NOT AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD! Visited yesterday for my mums birthday and very sad to say that the currys and food were not very authentic at all. The currys tasted like tin food. I would say the noodles were the only best item in the table amongst the test that we ordered. Had an extreme bad stomach ache after!! Not very hygienic. Such a shame. Waitress was very rude at the end as I asked to remove service charge due to not being happy with the service which was all over the place. Won't be visiting again.

Great food and super friendly staff

A bit disappointed - I rarely leave reviews. Spoke to a lovely lady over the phone to put the order in this evening, it’s a Saturday night so I imagine they are busy. However, this is my second time ordering from here. The first time, I wasn’t overwhelmed, but decided to give them another shot tonight. This evening, I was not impressed at all. The wait time was 45mins-1hr, we were very happy to wait. However, two of the items we paid for, each roughly £7 were uncooked and inedible. I have attached photos. I tried the dim sum and I had to spit it out. The calamari is completely uncooked. We also ordered two massaman curries and an egg fried rice. These were ok - egg fried rice quite dry, massaman curry tasty, but not outstanding. We have essentially paid £47 for two average portions of curry, dry egg fried rice, and some prawn toast. I would steer clear, there are lots of better quality takeaways in the area.

Best in South for Thai. Prices are quite reasonable hence the area. So overall not a bad choice. If your lucky there also free parking for an hour outside.

Went for a friend's birthday and we chose from the lunchtime menu which was great value, with good good choice of meal deals. We had excellent table service from Omi who served us and she was very kind and helpful in explaining what each dish contains. Definitely would recommend to go for any occasion, I will go back for sure!

Menu clearly states they deliver - however when I phoned to order they then said “we don’t deliver, we don’t have drivers. You can use deliveroo” 1. We don’t want to use deliveroo 2. Their menu doesn’t state it & is misleading We’d had really poor food & service a long time ago from this restaurant & had decided to give it another go having looked at the menu that was delivered to our home. Clearly things haven’t changed.

Amazing food and staff! I originally booked for 5, I changed it to 8 last min and by the time we arrived there were 11 of us including 3 under 3 years old! The staff were so helpful with chairs and no complaints. No high chairs but I have good company who didn't mind and had kids on lap or push chair. They were able to cater to my brother's family's vegan dietary requirements and the portion sizes were huge! Very tasty and staff brought out our birthday cake. It was such a lovely family/friend experience on a very special day! I was struggling to choose which Thai restaurant to go to in Crystal Palace but the good food reviews do not lie.
