Food was absolutely vile mixed grill was rotten and the curry was a tub of oil never again

I've been going to Red Onion for years now. I have not had a single thing to moan about yet. The food is great, I haven't tried everything, though, and they do have a lot on the menu, so there are plenty of options to choose from. Service is always good, polite and the staff are friendly. They certainly have my recommendation.

Pls do not go here they sell out of date food I had mouldy pizza chicken pokaras where hard they should not be sold though it just one off this happen on regular they’d don’t care about their customers more about the money u better of going peri peri king for pizzas

This place used to have some of the best kebabs in this area and then something happened. The kebabs i was served were the size of my finger and dry. We ordered a chicken chargha. Half of it was red and fresh. The drumsticks were chewy dry and black in colour - they were disgusting. We were served a half and half! Old drumsticks, yet fresh breast. Wasted our money here - wont be returning. Note to staff - you shouldn't trick the customers by serving fresh food stacked above stale food from the night before.

This is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. The menu clearly displayed a price of £5.50 for a chicken grill burger, but when I ordered, they charged me £6.00, giving me only £4 change from a £10 note. To make matters worse, the burger I received was not grilled as advertised and was utterly tasteless. Avoid this place at all costs!

Coming here for 9+ years for pizza, loyal customer. When they increased the price for 2 XL pizzas from £10 to £12 to £14 I thought it was fair so they can maintain the quality. Now ..... Price is still £14 but the pizza is much thinner then usual to save money, toppings reduced to save money and much lower quality in general!

Owners/ staff are always polite and food is decent.

This place is my go to place. My daily spot if Im grabbing some pizza or burger meals etc. Personally, this is one of my favourite places. Very good desi dishes. Very cheap in my opinion.

Ordered pizza twice from here and the hygiene is poor, pizza smelt off and the texture was odd. You can tell they dont do quality checks at all. Both times everyone in my house hold was vomiting and sick the next day.

Red Onion pizza special was average. Chicken seek kebabs were a bit too salty but meat was tender and the naan bread was soft. Served with fresh salad and plenty of mayo and chilli sauce. Tandoori wings were okay. Prices were reasonable The rest of the menu (mixed grill for an example) was too expensive.

Decent food choice for family meal eat in or takeaway. My go-to meal is mix grill bit of everything tasty

I went their with my family and we ordered masal fish and it was raw uncooked the serving was not good and the chicken wrap half empty the place was not clean the portion of the fries with wrap was a bit .The serving was not good they kept on giving your food to a different table .The food was horrible would not recommend this place .

Food is OK not the most expensive so decent for what it is, service can be very slow, waited almost an hour once for a pizza, they just didn't know where my pizza was

Every time we've ordered from here in the last few years for delivery nothing but goodness. Excellent clean food, great pizzas and very generous amount of fries and sizes of meals..always piping hot even in extreme cold of December 2023. I can't say a bad word,pricing is excellent and great quality. Keep it up very under rated place. Pizzas are delicious their highlight especially the veg spicy, tandoori and red onion special full of cheese and wonderfully light. Keep it up. My sister loved her seek kebab in naan too. Oh I have to say the new spicy red chutney is mmmmmm all home made and it's got a new twist.Just larger tubs please.Keep it up. Polite delivery driver even asked if my sister was ok with the boxes and bags she was holding

compared to the first when i ordered payah it was really good but this time so many problems : very hot like vindaloo (when told not to be done hot), very runny, and it stank of oil - waste of money

I went there with my family for a nice meal but turns out this place was absolutely horrible the food was worse then raw fish and I’ve tried many different sushi food this was horrendous never again and to make it worse it was supposed to be my mothers birthday meal but it was absolutely disgusting never go here trust me. Ps I think I got food poisoning.

Shocking is the word. Ordered half chicken and nan. Nan was nice, chicken was the worst I've ever laid eyes on. The taste was even worse, a mixture of cardboard and cement.

Wonderful place, amazing staff, tasty food, cheap and affordable

I ordered mutton pilau from ree onion and no mutton came. Literally just rice. Paid £7 for portion and was very disappointed. Rice was hard and clumpy. Called and the manager said they can't do anything about it. Just lodge a complain. he doesn't mind.

i usually order lamb curry and one nan, their food is very tasty and love they do lamb on bone which give it better taste

They have really levelled up over the years even though the prices have gone up recently. More than happy to pay for the increase. Love the mix donar and chips with their mix of fried onions / salad. Extremely reliable when ordering and collecting food. Usually ready in 10-15mins of ordering. All the best boys!

Mouldy pizza sent. Owner believes its OK because its fresh yeast that causes it so they burn it off. Food hygiene says it's takes at least 4 days to go mouldy in the right conditions.

One of my favourite curry places. Very receptive if any problems with the order(which is not happening very often). Drivers always come fast and they are polite. I would definitely recommend.

They used to make decent pizzas. Now quality gone down.....but value for money.
