Fabulous evening meal at the Red Lion. Food was excellent quality, good value and service was faultless. Just a shame we are only visiting the area and we can't make it our new favourite venue!

Lovely little village pub, good food that you can get to take away. Nice service and good drinks. Cozy feel to the whole pub, but has a great area out the back for events and general use.

The best tasting burger I've had in a very long time. Everything is cooked in front of you. Delicious.

Lovely village, very pleasant staff helpful and friendly. Food was very nice, I had sweet potato satay curry, although not too satay tasting was very nice, very enjoyable.

What a fantastic little pub, I live fairly local and went to the pub for the first time last Saturday, Really enjoyed the atmosphere and everyone very welcoming. The pub is set in a very traditional style. Totally reconmend visiting.

Lovely old pub Popped in for lunch with friends . Luckily the snug was free so our dogs were allowed to be with us rather than being left in the car . Food was delicious . Well cooked and plentiful . Home made salmon tart went down a treat . Husband was driving so he a little upset he couldn’t try the beers on offer .

Just a brief visit for coffee and cake which was very nice. We were told the pub is 300 years old and it had lots of character. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly.

This is a typical village pub, open mostly but does have variable hour especially for food. This seems a little unkind but we are used to longer opening and regular hours, but then we live in a city. The pub itself is full of character with stalls high back seating, nooks and crannies, separate rooms.....Almost spooky, but great selection of beers etc. Recommended 👍

A poor meal, disappointing. Had lamb loin chop,which was tender, came with a handful of packed rocket and tasteless scalloped chips. Very dry. 6 small prawns with 1 leaf of rocket. Bakewell tart ok but very cold. Slightly cold seating. Not worth the money would not go back.

Food was delicious. The fillet was cooked perfectly and the chips were 'proper home cooked!' Atmosphere was very homely and hosts very accommodating. Highly recommended xx

Pub tradicional y acogedor. Muy bien decorado para Navidad. La comida y la bebida muy buena. Sus empleados muy amables y eficaces.

So we choose this pub as it was taking part in the eat out to help out scheme and wow what a great decision that was. As per the pics they have taken COVID-19 seriously and have covered the bases with track and trace. The drinks were great and they have a couple of real ales on which is brilliant. The food well wow !!!! We are told the farm tang supplies the meat is just behind the pub and the butcher is in Diss. We had the rump steak and I have to say probably the beat rump we have ever had! Absolutely no fat and cooked to perfection. The chips are home made and tasted delicious. We had a couple of allergies and hitch were easily catered for (the pics might look a bit bare but can’t do salad or mushrooms) They have also converted part of the garden to create extra seating. Overall 10/10
