Red House in Newark and Sherwood

Looked good when delivered but tasted awful and i could not eat it so threw it away.

I ordered prawn toast and it come with long black hair in it, rang up to let them know and they come and dropped off new prawn toast which also had hair. We then got told by the owner who come to us that if we order again we will be able to get the order for free and when we tried to order again the woman on the phone was being rude saying they cant do that even if thats what we was told. We used to order all the time from there but wont be again. The woman ended up ending the phone on me after being very rude

Very quick delivery but no flavor to the food.

Noddles are watery, chips look and taste microwaved, sweet and sour sauce is tasteless and watery

When it came to was the wrong balls I asked for chicken and got pork which was very dry and I didn't notice until I put it all on my plate. When I rang up all they want to do was change the balls over.

Disappointed,the ribs and duck very dry,same as chicken,very quick delivery,that’s mean didn’t made properly and overpriced,only the sauce and veg was lovely with rice,ribs and duck shoudl be especially soft but it wasn’t so out of 10 max 4

During the course of fishing the river Trent I have used this place many times over the years and it has always been of the highest quality! Not only this but due to the nature of my hobby the delivery driver finds himself looking for increasingly obscure and tooked away locations but is always happy and accommodating! 10/10 The anglers best friend on those cold nights!

Was extremely disappointed, didn’t seem to be much chicken a real hodgepodge. Not very impressed at all.

I have never tasted such horrible Chinese food. The soup has sugar on it! And lots of it! The noodles as well as the soup went all straight to the rubbish. I will never, ever will buy from this place again.

Delivery said an hour but they missed their delivery time twice. At one point the order changed to delivered for 10minutes but hadn't turned up. Food was barely warm on delivery, probably would of been decent if it had of turned up hot.

My wife got food poisoning and is still suffering 3 days later. Avoid

Everything was bland and flavourless. Also no free prawn crackers on a £60 order.

Food arrived 10 minutes early but wasn’t an issue for us. Was well packaged and piping hot on delivery. Prices have increased considerably since we last ordered but as a treat was worth every penny. Delicious and good sized portions.

Please do not waste your money on this place. Prawns were off, could smell they were off as soon as we opened the container! So dangerous. Rest of the food was less than average. Also very pricey. Such a shame as we were looking forward to a treat.

Dont bother. Arrived early but somehow still cold, chips both rock hard on inside but soggy on outside.

This was the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. We were going to order from our usual one in Collingham however thought we would try something new. Bad mistake. so we ordered online via their app which worked well and ordered delivery for 1900, however it came at 1750 before my family was even home to eat it. I sent it back and said to the delivery person "I hope this won't be reheated and sent back" which he assured it wouldn't! It was then delivered 25 mins late and felt not to warm. We tucked into our meal, which was tasteless and bland and the crispy beef was like cardboard. We tried to give the meat leftovers to our dog, but he wouldn't even eat it and he eats rabbit poo from the fields, so I feel that's a good indication. Avoid as this is bad food.

Big portions with a satisfactory amount of protein :). The only thing that I didn't like is the saltiness - it was way too much.

I do not recommend ordering from this place, I have placed an order for a simple meal and it has been over two hours. I have tried calling them several times but no response. They have promised to deliver my order within a short amount of time but have not succeeded to do their job. Please and i repeat do not order from this place.

Ordered the food and it was at my door in 13 minutes I live around 8/10 minutes away from the red house which says they’ve cooked my food in 5 minutes or so, packed it and got it to my house all In that time. The chips looked and tasted like they’d been sat a week the chicken was so hard it was like eating rubber! They basically just warming food up and shipping it out! Very poor, I’ll never order from this place again.

You get what you pay for. This place is cheap but tastes horrible. What's the point in paying for food and having to throw it all away. Rather pay more for better quality.
