What an amazing dining experience! This place exceeded all of my family's expectations. The food was delicious and plentiful, the mocktails were yummy and the service was second to none. We loved everything about it, well done to all the staff both front of house and behind the scenes, you have something pretty special here!

If anyone is wondering if it's authentic, it is. I am originally from the American south and everything from the decor to the food is about as close to southern BBQ that you will find in London. I don't know if the head chef is from the U.S. but would not be surprised if they are. Come here if you want to revive memories from "home". Pay no attention to food snobs from Texas. Their ego is big but their palette is not.

The best BBQ food in the area, from the beef ribs to the brisket, and everything in between. The drinks are well crafted by the excellent bar staff, but the real winner here is the food. There are an abundance of options, and I recommend trying something you wouldn't normally, even if it's just a starter. For example, the deep fried oysters are a stunning way to start the meal. The portions are huge as you'd expect, and the monthly specials are always a hit. This is a thoroughly recommended spot.

Good place to share with family

Me and my friend decided to come Red Dog Saloon as we fancy some brisket and hadnt been here for a over a year or more. Service was ok (although part order wasnt correct but anywho mistakes happens). My biggest disappointment was the meal. We ordered what we usually order- 2 brisket sandwiches,mac&cheese & chicken strips. I am not sure if the chef is changed, the brisket sandwich has colesaw on it, not on the side but on it which was straightaway a disappointment and then the brisket was unbearably salty that we couldn’t eat it. Mac&cheese was so runny, it looked like mac with cheese soup. I added the brisket from my sandwich to it which made both more edible. We ordered hot chicken strips and i remember them tender and fully flavour but these weren’t really seasoning. So overall disappointed and wont be ever coming back.

The best Jamaican restaurant I have eaten at in London. The cocktails and dishes are excellent. The service is pretty quick and everyone is super friendly and friendly there. I will definitely return there when I go to London. It’s value for money.

Classic Americen style plates. Really big. Not surpring.

The worst Philly Cheese Steak I have ever had in my life. That thing should be illegal and off the menu. The smoked stuff is great, but take that disgusting monstrosity off the menu for god sake. The waiter of course didn’t charge me for it, but your restaurant deserve more.

Extremely disappointing. We ordered the Texas meat tray. All of the meat options (brisket, ribs etc.) were extremely fatty. I know this type of meat needs the fat to cook and become tender but it was so fatty it was jelly like, leaving most of the meat inedible. The mac and cheese and homemade ice tea were delicious but that was about it. The BBQ sauce they served it with was also pretty horrible. I’ve eaten many bbq sauces in my 30 years but never have a tasted one like this, it didn’t even have a resemblance of bbq sauce. I asked for some buffalo and was given a tiny pot and was charged an extra £1 which I thought was cheeky considering how expensive the meat tray was £40per person! Annoyingly we ordered 2 ice teas then started looking at food and saw that the meal we ordered came with free ice tea. I was told it wasn’t the same size as the ones I ordered so would still need to pay for them. I thought this is quite bad and the server should have asked us what we intended to order before giving us the ice tea to prevent us having to pay for ice tea that should have come free. Having said that the servers were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. Just feel very let down by this place and quality of food isn’t good enough for the price. Won’t be returning

I was here for a friend's birthday, the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was excellent, only the service charge was a little expensive since the waiters never asked us if we needed anything and were always chatting to each other

Incredibly expensive for an average experience. The menu looks much more detailed than what you actually get on the plate and the choice for beers is extremely limited.

We went to Red Dog Saloon last night and although it was fairly quiet, the service was excellent and the food was incredible. Left feeling rather full but very satisfied. Excellent cocktails. All around a great experience.

Excellent US style barbecue. Best I have had in London

The wait staff were great, proactively giving suggestions for drinks and easy to catch an eye. We also really enjoyed the commitment to the Wild West style decor with the buffalo skulls/horns on the walls. In general chill weekend vibes and not too busy. The burger, chicken tenders, oysters, burnt end mash and creamed corn were all good. The mac & cheese was not so great and the non alcoholic drinks options were a bit limited unfortunately. Nice spot overall.

Food was very good but my friend from Texas said Texas was better but it was still good 👍

We had a great time here last night. We ordered the Oregon platter and some burgers and they were amazing. The meat was really well cooked and tender as well as being delicious! Our waitress was super friendly and fun making sure that our friend who had lactose intolerance was looked after also. Very much recommended to look forward to coming again!

The restaurant was lovely and the service was top notch! The food was really really good and filling - the buffalo wings and the fries were the standout. Super delicious and we’ll be back for more!

Loved loved loved the whole rack of beef ribs. Not sure what the deal is with the music being so loud, struggled to have a conversation.

We needed a place with good food, good service and a great atmosphere, I booked the Red Dog Saloon due to its location and menu. Not having been here before and dining with great friends who were visiting from Aussie we were all delighted with everything. It was a great night.

Went last minute, no reservations but was seated quickly. Service is on point, professional, friendly, informative and felt welcome. Food was delicious, seasoned, tasty, hot, great choice and prices very reasonable. We had the Oregon platter and would definitely recommend it. I actually got severe thigh cramps during dinner and staff were very attentive and helpful. Will certainly return.

Despite booking in advance, we were given a terrible table right under two gigantic speakers from a hired house DJ, blasting at ridiculous volumes. We couldn’t hear each other speak and all other tables were full so couldn’t move. Service was not great, messed up drinks orders, inattentive and took 25 minutes to order food.

Managed to get the downstairs to ourselves. No slim line tonic.

Incredible! Service was brilliant from start to finish, friendly and really helpful - explaining the menu and what all the items were on the platter when it arrived. Food was soo good, my partners always wants a meat platter and I always fancy a burger so to be able to order a platter that included a burger was great. The meat was melt in the mouth and full of smoky flavour. Burgers cooked perfectly, and even the sides like Mac and cheese were delicious! The fact desserts are free is also amazing… probably because no one can ever manage one after all the meat!! We definitely didn’t, but the food was such good value for money! If you’re a smokehouse lover I really recommend this place - very confused about the negative reviews it’s received!

Started off a bit rocky when we were given a table too small for 9 people with only 8 seats, it was very busy at the time so we thought it would be an issue to have more room but we were offered an alternative downstairs which was perfect. It was extremely loud in the main restaurant, considering it was a Saturday night and with a dj there too so take that into account if your considering a booking on that day specifically, it’ll be hard to hear people around you. Once moved, I couldn’t fault a single thing. Our waitress Amanda was super attentive, patient when people wanted more information about the menu and just a genuinely lovely person. As a chef in the industry, I can say confidently she was the best server I’ve had in years. The food was amazing, definitely not style over substance, accurate to what you see online and just as delicious. I highly recommend the gooey louis burger! My husband who’s birthday we were celebrating that night, really wanted an Long Island iced tea and even though it wasn’t on the menu, they were able to make it on request which he appreciated so much and tasted amazing, the pornstar martini was also a solid favourite at our table. A rare 10/10 for me, a gem of a find. Thank you to Amanda, the bartender which I didn’t catch the name of and the chefs for making my husband’s birthday one to remember. All my family and myself will DEFINITELY be back as soon as possible!

Overall, the food is good, but it just taste very bland and for some reason it doesn’t taste fresh it taste like it’s pre-made and heated up. My cocktail was amazing, and the Manager Was So lovely and had Great customer service

Music is great, food is amazing size spent £280 For 4 people I suppose you could say it was expensive but when you value what you get it’s incredible. The services was good the bartender was giving some good entertainment while mixing up. The food was amazing cocktails cheap and good. Also had a guy ask for £2.80 for a glass of wine of the street made up to the atmosphere great experience here today.

We booked a table for 2 adults and 2 children, noting on the booking form that it was my daughter’s birthday. I completely forgot that I’d added this information until some of the waiting staff came over singing happy birthday with a dessert for my daughter, after we had finished our main course. Such a lovely and thoughtful touch. The food was excellent. The fries were delicious, as were the chicken goujons and the burgers were definitely some of the best we have ever had. The service was fantastic - really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money for a central London restaurant and highly recommended!!

Decor and food options says saloon but pricing and the style of menu is for expensive central london restaurant. Also sides like the slaw at 5.50 and burnt end mash at 7.50 were average and not worth the money. Nice enough but very expensive for what it is.

Great food and service. One group was far too loud. Why must people be so loud in restaurants. Atmosphere was much better when they left.

Has big expectations, got the Oregan platter, food was flavourless and not hot enough, the whole experience was underwhelming to say the least. A weatherspoons platter would have been a better shout. For £74 definitely not worth it. Happy I tried it but definitely won’t be going back.

Our first experience here for my mum’s birthday was amazing! Our waitress Amanda made the whole meal incredible! She was so lovely and fun and explained so much of the menu to us as it was a little bit confusing. We went with the USS Kentucky between the 2 of us and the food was incredible. Once the food arrived she also explained what was what on the plate and at the end she gave us a pudding on the house and was just so amazing! The atmosphere overall was incredible and in the 2 hours we were there people did not stop flooding in so it’s definitely popular and well worth a visit!

I thought the food was really good, we had a platter and the burgers were lovely as was the mac and cheese and fried chicken. We also ordered onion rings as a side and they were the best onion rings I’ve had in ages, not greasy at all. However, was a bit disappointed to sit downstairs right near a DJ particularly in the dark. It wasnt an ideal restaurant setting. It was too noisey and we could barely see the food and this is coming from a bunch of people in their 30s on a night out (maybe we are old now!). We tried asking for extra drinks at our table and that didn’t happen. Had to go to the bar upstairs to get them in the end. They lost out on money there as probs would have spent more had staff been more attentive. The downstairs is confused between restaurant and bar / lounge. If I come back (which I would for the food), I’ll insist I’m seated upstairs next time!

Fab food, some of the best bbq in London. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No GF beer or cider on the menu weirdly. Wine selection very average. But great bourbon selection.

Lovely dinner! Arrived slightly early and was seated immediately. The restaurant wasn’t full but was very busy with a great ambiance. Order food promptly which we could not finish, so took our left overs home. I’ve eaten at this restaurant a number of times and will be returning again soon, as it never disappoints and only gets better. Delicious

We visited for a birthday dinner. Really great service and they were so kind and helpful with the cake we brought. The food however was very average and highly overpriced for what it was.

I didn’t catch her name but the person who served our table (blond bob and wore glasses) was such a great host. I have a dairy allergy and they were so careful to make sure everything was safe and nothing seemed to be too much effort ❤️

The staff are fantastic and especially with children. The food was delicious and it wasn't too loud or hectic inside so we could actually chat with each other. Recommend the platters for the variety and sharing.

Arrived on time, was greeted well staff were very friendly, Ordered a platter for two people and some sides, the majority of which were Luke warm. Chicken tenders were dry, again most of the platter was Luke warm, mac and cheese was like soup my colleague I went with commented how runny it was. All the food had good flavour so was a shame it was presented cold. The worst thing was this morning I have felt sick since I got up and have been feeling very unwell. Without being to graphic my stomach is very upset, I would avoid this place it promised a lot but didn’t deliver

This place sounds and looks like it will be great, however unfortunately it falls short. I've had BBQ other places which has been better, for a lot less money. It's very expensive. The brisket is a little tough, and came in sauce (would have been better on the side in case you don't like it) on a cold plate which made it go cold very quickly. The mozzarella sticks were served on a cold sauce and plate which also meant they went cold quickly. They weren't melted in the middle like you would expect either. The fried chicken is nice with good seasoning. The onion rings we had weren't good, the batter was floury in places and didn't cover the whole ring so hadn't been cooked very well. The music in there is far too loud, which then causes everyone to have to raise their voices when talking, to which the staff responded by turning the music up! Overall, over priced and a little soul-less.

Went here and ordered a Doomsday device ( I love spice) found this to be bland and no spice in there at all. The jalapeños that were in there were there for looks and not for flavour. So I removed the bun and tried to just eat the meat, that had no taste at all. My friend ordered the fried chicken. We ended up leaving the meals and going elsewhere for food. Won't be returning again or recommending unfortunately.

Always go pass here and we decided to have dinner here while being around the area. It was surprisingly nice, meat cuts where nice and good selection on sides. The drink selection was good and went well with dinner

I went here on my wife’s birthday, food nice price reasonable,onion rings a little too salty fry chicken wings too dry and crispy! Chicken burger was delicious! Waiter was so lovely and attentive! Overall experience was nice not sure I would come back but wife was definitely happy

The food was amazing and tasted very delicious. Ordered one of the platters - the first on the list. While it tasted really good, can’t fault the taste especially the chicken wings, I thought the portion was too small for £60+. Honestly for the price, I expected more. Other than that, the service was good, the margaritas were watered down- not strong at all and service wasn’t bad.
