RBG Bar and Grill in Aberdeen City

Helt gjennomsnttlig sted. Ikke noe spesiell atmosfære, og maten var ikke noe å skryte av, men helt grei. Servicen var ok. Eneste grunnen til å spise her er hvis været er for dårlig til å gå ut. Mange bra steder i nærheten.

Serving southern comfort food.... Service was alright the bar menu on a Sunday was ok. What we had was ok. Not impressively but ok. But what happend to scothish produce and locally sourced food.

Aparentemente, por alguna extraña razón, el restaurante RBG en el Radisson Hotel no está abierto al público los fines de semana, así que hicimos una reserva telefónica para cenar en el bar que, como descubrimos demasiado tarde, está ubicado en el vestíbulo del hotel. Si bien no podía culpar a la comida o el servicio, parecía un poco extraño comer en un área abierta que estaba atestado de huéspedes del hotel y asistentes a la fiesta. No me importa comer en los bares, pero esto no es lo que imaginé cuando hice la reserva. No volvería a menos que el restaurante estuviera abierto por negocios.

The hotel was easy to eat in, quick service and not too over priced meaning that a nice meal at the end of a long day was achievable.

very good breakfast , but service areas very cramped, and not very easy to find what you want to eat.strange to have to order fried eggs at breakfast.

Fuimos como teníamos un vale spree y quería probar algún sitio nuevo. El ambiente era pobre pero el personal es amable. Planta del restaurante estaba sucia, con detritus de servicio de desayuno, decepcionante. Pregunté acerca de hamburguesas y estaban contentos de confirmar el contenido. Ambos quesos y bacon hamburguesas orden. Sólo pedí lechuga tomate y tomate no recibido, sin lechuga, pero estas cosas pasan. Era perfectamente aceptable, nada especial, pero está bien. Sin embargo, nos apetecía un postre y el desastre Eton refresco era fantástica - dulce, cremoso, sharp - Única queja conseguir cucharas que alcanzar el fondo de la copa.

For me this Bar and Grill is Perfect. I had Sea food meal, its very nice. If i visit Aberdeen, compulsary I will visit RBG

Reservamos oír para el fin de semana. Reservamos una habitación superior. Pero al llegar a la habitación no era ningún thinck cerca cuando hice. No había Wardrope para colgar la ropa a un marco de metal con Abrigos, había un cajón profunda bajo neath la ropa que tenía una gran toalla de baño y toalla de mano. También una bolsa de plástico de lavandería con lista de precios. Se nos/. El park inn era agradable al entrar en el proceso de registro es rápido. Fuimos para el desayuno en la mañana sábado nos preguntaron por el jefe de camareros si habíamos estado antes dijimos. Él entonces dijo: Es autoservicio. Así que nos dieron una mesa y luego fuimos para el desayuno que no pude encontrar ningún Gran desayuno platos, así que tuvimos que utilizar una placa lateral, también no había huevos fritos y huevos scrabbled sólo bolied. Por lo que pedí el jefe de camareros, si pudiéramos tener un huevo frito. Así que a la recepción que phned chica dijo que tuvieron problemas pero lo arreglaron dije bien tenemos todavía no había agua caliente, así que nos fuimos a desayunar y luego volvimos el agua aún no estaba caliente. Así que comimos y luego nos fuimos para nuestro transporte a casa. Era un lugar bonito, pero creo que es un poco caro, también para la comida y las bebidas que venden. Teníamos una habitación en la 6ª planta, muy tranquilo, pero era un horrible fin de semana, Nos vienen de nuevo, pero en el mejor tiempo.

Sin embargo, fuimos para el almuerzo, ya que no habíamos reservado para sentarse en la zona del bar, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba vacío. El menú disponible en el bar era mucho más pequeña que el menú del restaurante que fue decepcionante. La comida estaba bien, y el ambiente en el bar era agradable. Pero no volveré como me sentí mirando por personal sólo aparece en para el almuerzo.

Reasonably priced, good service and a nice enough setting in a good location. Menu is well balanced, and they can actually cook a decent steak, which is a pretty rare thing in Aberdeen now.

Fuimos en el restaurante del hotel durante su estancia de que sea sencillo y sin demasiadas complicaciones. Las expectativas eran igualados y el servicio de la comida estaba bien pero no hay nada que destacar. Tenía el chuletón de carne con salsa de pimienta verde y puré.

Thought we give it a try after reading mixed reviews. There was a single customer when we arrived but that didn't bother us because we knew we'd be well looked after and we weren't wrong.Bottle of rose to start us off,calamari and chicken liver pate for starters,both delicious. Cannelloni and 'the works' burger for mains,can't fault either.We both had the warm flapjack and ice cream desert,a bit greedy you say but we say well worth the guilt afterwards.All this for under £75.Staff were polite and friendly,the restaurant was clean and tidy.We'll definitely go back again.

Stopped by here en-route to a meeting, along with a client. Odd entrance door on the outside looks more like the fire escape, which we missed and tried to find the way in from inside the hotel.There was one table taken, the rest free, by the time our drinks arrived we were the only 2 in the place and that's how it stayed until we left - this was a Friday lunchtime.Service was fine, food was great albeit slightly limited choice (but going by the attendance I'm not surprised), and costs were reasonable. I'd go again.

I'm not gonna write an overly opinionated subjective review, I'll just state the facts. Arrived at 7pm. Place was very quiet. Ordered drinks which arrived at 19:40...without glasses. So we waited for them. This was despite enquiring several times as to the whereabouts of the drinks. Who knows...maybe they made the prosecco from scratch. When the food eventually arrived they'd got our order wrong (salmon burger instead of salmon salad). They didn't apologise. I could understand if the place was busy, but it was completely empty. I had a chicken burger. The bread was dry and the chicken tasted like it was cooked last week. Eating out quite frequently I would say this is possibly the worst place in the UK. You'd be better off getting a takeaway on Belmont street...

My daughter, 4 year old grandaughter and myself came here for christmas day lunch and from the minute we arrived we felt we were well looked after by the staff, all of whom were very professional, polite and friendly. The food was excellent and the festive layout of the table with poppers, balloons, crackers and sweets kept my grandaughter amused during the few hours we were there. A big thank you to amanda in reservations and to all the staff working on christmas day for making our lunch a very enjoyable one.

We were staying at the hotel and decided to eat here rather than go out. My colleague had the Calfs liver and I had the Thai curry and we both followed with the cheese board.Both the main courses arrived well presented and hot and we're both fresh and tasty. We both had a glass of Merlot which went down well with our food. The cheese board was ample with 3 cheeses.Pleasant meal well presented with good helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The nornal menu here is very much "pub food". It is not at all bad, and reasonably priced, but a bit limited in options, especially for anyone who does not eat meat. If you want to eat here it is best to hope that the "specials" menu is on, which it sometimes is and sometimes isn't, according apparently to the whim of the chef. The specials menu provides a much more varied choice including, when last I ate here, Clootie Dumpling Parfait, which I feel obliged to bring to the attention of the wider world.

Kjøttet var tørt og segt. Tilbehør var bløtt og champignon rant det svart av. Hamburger var flat, tørr og overstekt Pomes frites var ok. Service var ok.

The RBG is also the breakfast room for the Park Inn by Radisson hotel and has a scandinavian-ulilitiarian feel to it. That did not encourage me to choose it for dinner during my stay, though the street view from the wide windows is pleasant and breakfast was fine. However, when I tried it for dinner I was very pleased indeed at the simple, cooked to perfection fish and chips. It was faultless - fresh fish, a decent sized helping and chips piping hot. It would have got a rating of 5 if the waiting staff had not seemed rather distracted and distant, though they provided the required service promptly. Perhaps there was a football match in Eastern Europe that they would rather have been watching!

Give this lovely hotel restaurant a try. There is a great selection of very good food at reasonable prices. This restaraunt has a nice ambience & Patrycja the restaraunt supervisor will make sure you are well looked after, definitely worth visiting.

Recently dined at RBG's and was pleasantly surprised - it's a lovely, spacious hotel restaurant with an unfussy, unpretentious diner menu. The restaurant was quiet (as are the majority of restaurants in Aberdeen mid-week) but this didn't affect the mood as the restaurant has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. We had fantastic service throughout the meal - a minor mistake was rectified quickly, before we had even brought attention to it. Prices were reasonable and I would be happy to come here again. A good place to people-watch passers-by on Justice Mill Lane!

Went at the weekend and had a very nice tasty meal, not sure what to expect as reviews not been consistant. We had a party of 4 who all chose from the Table D Hote' menu, you can have 1 course £12.95, 2 courses £16 or 3 courses £20, 2 of us had 3 course, 1 had the 2 course and 1 just had 1 course, you can also chose from the normal menu. The 3 course was very good value for money, both starters were excellent, all 4 mains very good and the puddings were very good as well. The waiter was very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant large and airy and clean, the toilets were also clean and tidy. We intend to return again.

We recently stayed at the hotel and chose to eat here rather than go out - wish we had gone out instead. The food was reheated frozen food and tasted like it. We avoided the fish after asking whether it was frozen or fresh but the chicken I ordered you could taste the water in, same with the chips. The staff were friendly but didnt really seem to be able to recommend food or drinks. Very disappointed and would not receomment at all.

Had really nice meal, good selection on menu and great staff too! Would definately recommend the haggis risotto!

More staff than customers, Staff pleasant, food cold No one in control of restaurant,Waitress appears at our table 3 times with someone else's food or drink, remember there were only about 15 diners .Supposed to be a valentines treat for my wife. Guess I'll have to take her out again.Would not hurry back to the RBG.

We visited here after purchasing an online voucher which gave us the opportunity to try a new venue at a special price. The restaurant is very modern and large but felt a bit lacking in atmosphere. There were quite a lot of people eating alone which suggested it was mainly business travellers.We were disappointed to be given only a small menu with limited choice when clearly others had a different menu with an extensive choice however we managed to select three different courses each to give us a variety of tastes.We found the staff, all quite young to be very friendly and enthusiastic and the service was excellent. The food was okay, nothing special, the desserts were probably the best of the lot. We chose a lovely bottle of red wine from the wine list which we enjoyed but it was expensive.We didn't pay much for our voucher and what we got was certainly value for money however others may like this restaurant but personally it wasn't for us.
