It was bloody well closed. Pointless going there 😴

If you appreciate freshly made food that tastes as good as it looks & smells and friendly staff, look no further! (Ps I review after tasting a bit so don't pay attention to the missing chunk of fish :P - salt and pepper sprinkled over it )

The worst reheated, tough, chips in Ipswich. Bought 4.30pm. Fish good - a bit overcooked. Peas watery.

Food is almost always excellent. Fair portion size, and cooked to order. If you’ve not tried their Battered Halloumi, you’re missing a real treat!

I went to copdock bike show and was with a large group of hungry people. I went in and ordered 20 separate portions of chips. The chips and battered sausage was blooming lovely. Will go again

Nice local chippy, they do fantastic gluten free fish and chips too.

Always seems to be busy and the food is always good. What's not to like?

Placed an order for 11 people for collection. It was all piping hot when I collected, staff were friendly and everyone enjoyed what they'd ordered :)

Wouldn't accept my order, even though they were open. No wonder they are the lowest rated chippy on Just Eat. Will just avoid now.

We went today in the afternoon at 16,30 and we ask for two meals of fish and chips. When we got home to have our dinner, the fish was horrible, like they had it from the morning or the day before, the same with the chips, they were too greasy and not very nice. We used to buy in here and it was fine but this time was awful, not coming back.

These were absolutely amazing. Stopped on a whim and really impressed!! Very big portion sizes for me, super impressed

Ordered food about 1315, waiting for chips to cook. I ordered a battered sausage, and a spring roll and chips come to £6.60 I do believe but I got a unbattered sausage jumbo, a curry spring roll and a small portion of chips. Chips not very good. The spring roll looks and tasted horrible. Reminds me of a baby diaper soggy. Not nice at all. The staff were lovely. Polite. It's clean. Tidy. No atmosphere whatsoever

Fish cooked to order and is really nice. Not overly greasy (that you can find with some places). Chip portion is on the larger side (that's not a grumble). Staff are always polite and friendly.

Surprised as haven’t used this fish and chip shop for a while glad to say it has really improved since the last time I used it. The fish was cooked just right and the batter was thin, crispy and full of flavour, chips were also very good! Will visit more often now definitely recommend!

Went in to get 2 pensioners portions for my elderly parents, unfortunately they don't do but offered me children's cod and chips, which was not expensive though the fish was a bit small there was plenty of chips!. Staff very helpful and friendly, looked very clean and smart

This is a top fish and chip shop. Everything is cooked to perfection and the servings are generous. I have been coming to this shop once a year for almost 20 years. It has changed it named a couple of times but the quality seems to remain the same. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The fish is very tasty, nice chunky piece with thin batter, it's really good. We always phone our order through which is a good idea to save us waiting in the queue

I love the battered sausage and chips here it is warm, delicious and cheap! But I would recommend Mrs Teas fish and chips if you want even better but overall this is amazing.

Just had a portion of chips. If you like them steamed, squashed in a small greaseproof bagand soggy then this is the chip shop for you. But not for me. My first and my last visit.

Brilliant traditional but modernly equipped fish and chips, with all kinds of yummy food. The best fish and chips I've had in a long time, and the sausages and scampi were brilliant too. The staff are super helpful and lovely. You will not be disappointed.

Really nice fish and chips. Fish is not soaked in oil which is perfect. Staff are really nice and service is quick even when really busy.

Food arrived 10 mins early and was cooked to perfection, would definitely recommend this place to friends and will be ordering again myself in the near future. Very impressed.

Cod is skinless and boneless so you can bite into it like a sandwich. Yum
