Just had chinese from here and its worse chinese iv eber had i threw it in the bin waste of money usually stick to manford house but they are closed on wednesday so thought give tjeze a try never again

Had house special fried rice , prawns were white and smelt like really bad rotten dead fish

Also amazing, best in the area and always friendly! Couldn't want more from a local Chinese!

I hadn't been here for 20 plus years. The food was delicious and I won't wait 20 years before going back!

Thought I would give this takeaway a try as it has been recommended a few times in the past.. Wait time was not too bad for a walk in biggish order, portion sizes generous, the beef in blackbean sauce, satay chicken on skewers all 5 of them with big chunks of tender chicken were the best of the dishes I ordered. The egg fried rice was drowned in soy sauce, the singapore noodles too much curry powder tho still edible but overall too much salt for my palate in everything.. I will be taking a 2litre bottle of water to bed tonight as think I am going to be very dehydrated later. I would buy from here again but would need to specify no salt, no msg, no soy sauce in rice. Price was reasonable, service friendly.

Went here to take my son to see about a part time job, for the lady behind the counter to look him up and down with a remark of" for him" , and then say no only girls allowed I prefer girls, biggest sexist answer I've heard, but they don't state female only, absolutely disgusted

New go to takeaway, can't fault any dish I've tried.

Quite a long wait at busy times, but great food and value for money

I don't know how anyone can eat here. Went off Raven a good few years ago when things changed. Picked up a takeaway tonight and has nearly mad eme throw up, a think mucus like coating all down my throat after a few mouthfuls, the curry sauce tastes like sweaty B.O , the chips were mush yet there were a few hard ones also, alongside never seeing egg-fried rice look so black. The springroll seemed it was made fresh however inside was incredibly bland an also mush. After waiting so long was extremely disappointed and honestly so confused that other people can enjoy it. I have had a higher standard for food as the more experiences like thus put me off so many places where things aren't a decent amount fresh.

Had food poisoning from there, my food was undercooked and I’ve been up throwing up all night, never going there again!

Awful!! £15 worth of food we couldn’t eat, sauce came out like jelly and food tasted like it had been reheated. Will never call her again Manford House in future.

Excellent value for money, just like we used to get, none of these small portions like some other places I could name. Staff are always polite and friendly.

People are alright but I would prefer to go to the Chinese takeaway down the road in glanaman.

I totally agree with other comment regarding the raven chinkey, it is not the same since Christine and Tac left, .... you try and phone in an order and when you give special request to the order !!! ................. ohhhhhh just forget it !!! no point .. Food is very bland. tried it once wont try risk it again. Thankgod Chris and Tac have not gone far and have a new place the Royal Kitchen Ammanford.

Walking up to the counter to place my order, the first thing i see is a notice telling customers NOT to bring their own carrier bags as they HAVE to charge you 5p to supply their own. I asked the girl behind the counter what was in their "Vermicelli A La China" dish to which she replied "I have no idea". I had to ask her to take the 3 steps needed to the kitchen to ask the chef what was in the dish. The food came and I was handed the carrier bag, I left and walked to the car, only to have the girl hit my window pretty hard to tell me she'd given me the wrong order. The food was bland and watery. That's all I can say about it. I haven't been to this takeaway since I left the area some years ago, and I will not be returning there. Where has Christine gone? Wherever she is, she needs to come back to return this takeaway to the top one it used to be.
