Rasheeds Indian Takeaway in Sheffield

Very friendly staff and the usual stuff on the take away menu. The curry's were nice however my Rogan Josh was more like gravy than a curry so a bit different to what I was expecting. I'd still go again though and just go for something a bit spicier and see how that went.

They never disappoint! Lamb Gobi for me, it's not on the menu but they cook it for me. The chicken chat is scrumptious, I had a sneaky taste of my son's tandoori tikka masala, again absolutely scrumptious.

Undoubtedly the greatest large mixed kebab in the city. wrapped in a huge fresh nan. the addition of mint yogurt - for a taste that'll bring a man to tears.

The worst Kebab I have had the Naan was stuck to the wrapping paper all soggy every bite included paper, the meat was fatty and bland . Every takeaway I have ever ordered from use tin foil to wrap the kebabs in, is this a way of saving money at the expense of the customers food ?.

Misleading and unfair trading practices! You have an obligation to trade fairly and honestly with your customers. All the prices that are displayed online, on the leaflets and In the shop are all wrong! They make up the prices on the spot as they don’t have time to change the display boards. When questioned he said go find it cheaper. Didn't go in to haggle for my takeaway. I’m surprised I even paid as I would have walked away with no shame. Absolutely mugged off to your face. Sort your prices out and stop mugging your customers off. Embarrassing for your selfs.

Ordered the usual abit less to be fair £25 as the kids normally have it so double and we order at least twice a month phoned up to say the poppadoms were in bits and not edible got a load of abuse and offered out 😂 15 years we gone here ends tonight I have pictures

Not bad food for a take-away, one big problem I had with them, it took 1hr 20mins for the delivery, very slow then it was cold ,

Just saw this place when I walked pass by. No way will I be buying any food from this takeaway, I took a close look and really disgusting inside the takaway and you can see from the pictures when you zoom in and look closely at back of counter and in kitchen. Absolutely shocking. 🤯🤮🤢

Large mixed sandwich, 5 little pieces of chicken, and hardly any meat at all. Could have wrapped the naan round 3 times.

The food taste nice but the service is disgusting they miss items of your order but charge you for them and take that long to deliver its rediculous and when you contact them the refuse to bring the item you have paid for that was missing, my advise is only have food you collect as there delivery service is useless and check your order before leaving shop.

Been eating from here for over 15 years top quality food never had a bad one yet just ordered a nice curry before England play also do a nice massive kebab give them a try you won't be disappointed

Delivery was fast, the food was absolutely amazing and in decent portions.

This is one of the best tasting Kerbabs ive had and for the price the quality and quantity is amazing 5 stars I’ve also had the korma from here and so creamy and tasteful definitely my favorite restaurant and the staff very polite and helpful

Love the food, but can get really busy

Had a chicken tikka Madras and large garlic nan Donner kebab. Food was gorgeous and the nan bread was especially scrumptious. Will definitely be visiting here again on my way home from football 😋

Really fabulous tasty food . Cooked to perfection . Made me feel really welcome . Made a black country lass happy warm food and cooked to specifics. Nothing was to much trouble .

Disgusting...Will not be returning 🤮 my son had a dead bug on the inside of his tray of doner meat and chips we've been ordering from here for years but it's gone down hill in the last few months the mayo on my kebab was tangy it taste like it's gone off 🤢

I had a lamb madras,peshwari naan,and onion bhajis,,,,and enjoyed them all,,,,will be going again soon..

The mixed Donna kebab was amazing. They got the best Donna in Sheffield worth the 40 min drive lads always give great service on front.

Delivered food was cold, and not very good to be honest. Won't be using them again.

Me & my family loved the mix kebab, the donner meat was lip licking! My son really enjoyed his lamb curry 😋 we will definitely be back again! The lads on the front are very friendly 👍🏻

Chicken kababs are nice but don’t like there donner meat!& the curries ain’t all that I had a lamb buna the lamb was not nice spice villas are a lot nicer or Everest or if you wanna sit in somewhere go to cutler spice or Akbar’s 👌

Live with with in delivery area order £22 take away and want £6 on top cuz said he doesn’t drive for free and was the free delivery range this was the receptionist very very rude and disrespectful don’t no how there still open please go to city spice 0.5 miles down road got free delivery manners and respect and food brilliant and on time never spoken to so poorly in my life and gonna Sheffield star with this ordering a takeaway a and getting spoke to like this cuz asked where extra £6 came from and reply was cuz can I don’t deliver for free no way

Dont order from here the food is discusting its delivered late and the driver charges you more than the price quoted on order everthing arrived clock cold .and I only live 5 minutes drive from the takeaway shop ..popadoms soft and chewy onion bahjis rock hard and the jalfrezi awful ...im never ordering from here again ..be warned

Travelled from Doncaster was the best kebab we have had in a long time

Tried a few different takeaways in Sheffield and overall the experiences haven’t been great. However all this changed at Rasheeds I must admit I’m a bit of a fan, the food is always spot on. Excellent Service

Rasheee is was it is ! It's not haute cuisine or fine dining BUT it is a very good value for money takeaway ! The delivery service is normally very efficient but if you are ordering on a Friday evening allow more time cos they are very busy at that time . I recommend the madras but my favourite is Rasheed's special , an absolute delight . In answer to the bad reviews that have been posted it has been open and operating for well over 20 years and the times I have called in the phone has never stopped ringing that is evidence on it's own .

One star is too generous. Awful, tasteless, sweet, watery, dry, hard, cold and expensive. Customer service was atrocious and even called us liars! They also said in 20 years they've never had a complaint, they need to read their reviews! Refused refund. Please don't use them, there are much better average alternatives out there that outshine this excuse of a curry establishment. Never normally comment on these things, but I wouldn't want anyone to experience this.
