Ramnee Hotel in Moray

Hotel in a quiet and peaceful place. Warm and pleasant rooms. Beds very comfortable. Breakfasts. Everyone will find something for themselves. Dinners are not an extensive selection. But very tasty. It's a hotel with a soul of its own. I highly recommend it

Excellent service and good location.

Excellent breakfast, but very old rooms, the wallpaper was peeling, the beds were small and while the bathroom was working properly, it seemed 30 years old. The hired staff was very very kind and always available, but the owner added a 5£ card payment surcharge for the shuttle service to the airport. This happened after I kindly asked if they could arrange for a taxi, and I even provided them a number to call, which apparently they could not. The price for the hotel shuttle (the car of an employee) was higher than the taxi I had used some months prior, so I feel like they took advantage of the situation.

I spent 5 days at Ramnee hotel whilst attending a Wellness Retreat nearby. The service was of high standard indeed. Staff were helpful and efficient. The proprietor of the hotel was very welcoming and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. I will be going back to stay at Ramnee Hotel as long as I visit that part of the country. I liked the view of the North Sea bay from my room. Nothing beats the fresh sea breeze every morning and the tranquility of being out there in the open. The dining experience gives a homely feel. Loved the whole experience.

Stopped in for a drink at the bar. Great selection of local beers, ales , etc. If your passing through well worth a visit to sample the bar, I have been informed the food is top notch once i go there for food I'll update accordingly.

Very friendly staff. Reasonably costed menu although limited. Room spotlessly clean with a comfortable double bed and a great view out towards Findhorn Bay. New carpets throughout with a stunning staircase. Unfortunately no lift available. Plenty of parking space to front of hotel. Highly recommended

We had a lovely stay in the Ramnee hotel. Friendly staff, nice room, good food and located a few minutes walk from the centre of Forres.
