Rambo's Flaming Grill in Powys

We waited for over an hour for our food and they forgot our pizza, we also ordered chips with MINT YOGURT but we got min sauce! Usually food is great but this is not the first time this had happened

Absolutely shocking service. Order placed for two meals for which I paid almost £40. One meal was wrong. Order was for mixed kebab of chicken and doner. The chicken was missing. Telephoned to complain and was told that I’d placed the order wrong. Strange I still have the receipt. To make matters worse both meals were very cold. The staff member I spoke too was very rude. I did place a poor review last night but strangely that appears to have been deleted. I don’t recommend this takeaway and would suggest that the place is avoided.

I ordered at about 16.45 and food came about 17.10 which was really fast. I had a Large Sar Beni with Chicken Shish with all the salad, garlic mayo and cheesy chips on the side. My little boy had nuggets and chips, he loved it. That sar beni Is amazing I have it every time. That bread, the flavour, the salad, the meat, all done to perfection. Can't say any more except look forward to the next time. Each time its perfect and the best kebab place in town. The cheesy chips are quality too. Salad all fresh and crunchy. Can of Dr pepper. Happy days.

Meat was dried out and wrap was death by salt. Then they over charged us, did not realise till too late.

Bought food for family order was messed up all round food tasted cheap and cold only tried as useall customer of baba Ali's which is A* just thought we see if missing something just missing the order we paid £20 for and received about £7 worth of food STAY WELL CLEAR!!!

The SO is a big kebab fan. BIG. After trying others in Newtown, Rambo's is the one he likes best. I feel ok about reviewing Rambo's myself, as he brings me yummy chips sometimes when he gets his kebab ;) Portions are good, as is quality. He finds the service friendly and efficient as well. It's just around the corner from disabled parking spaces and is easily accessible. No vegan pizza, but a couple of veggie ones available. A host of meat varieties, plus calzones. Lots of burger choices (meat only). Fried chicken. Not a place for vegetarians or vegans, particularly, but very good for omni's. Online ordering option available. 5 star hygiene rating!!

I was in Newton Sunday & Monday. I went to get something to eat on Monday night and there was nothing open. All the Restaurants seem to be closed on Monday and Tuesday. I ended up with a burger and chips from Rambo's. It was what it was and the chips were well cooked.
