Good food and good location. Plenty of vegan/veg options. For some reason, they have listed a lot of main course dishes as side dishes (maybe to earn more from non-Indian customers) but it makes it cheap for Indians who know the dishes. :D I’ll recommend ordering only the side dishes, those are enough.

Early dinner with family of 5. Ample of choices, and we are very happy with the food. Presentable, tasty, and reasonable waiting time. Just feel that pappadom should come with briyani order by default, but small matter. Clean washroom, atmosphere was pleasant, and staffs are friendly and helpful. This place was so awesome! The food was fantastic. We got the lamb biryani and the chicken tikki makka. Both were delicious.

Good food with fair price. Do ask for Indian style Paneer Butter Masala, I loved it. Tandoori cuisine was amazing with not too burnt but nice smoky flavour. The best thing is they can modify spice levels accordingly.

I am writing this review to stop you all to going to this restaurant. My first complaint is that I ordered a poppadom and asked for some chutney along with it and guess what? £3.40!?! For chutney?? And apparently it is "difficult" to make. My second complaint is the time it took for the food. I cannot believe a couple who came 10 mins after me had their whole meal delivered before I ( one person) even got my main course. My last complaint is why can't you just serve normal chocolates?? Really mint ones? Will kids enjoy them? Even I bit into one expecting creamy milk chocolate taste but no! Minty effect lingering out of my mouth. Overall, food was OK and service was good. If you are reading my review I want you to think carefully before coming into this restaurant.

The food was flavoursome, one of the best biryani I’ve had in a while! The service was on point, our starters arrived quickly. Very friendly waiters too - perfect dinner settings for my husband and I. I would definitely recommend a visit if in the Cotswold area!

Great food with new twist of Indian

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BILLS AT RAGDOOT!! Last time we visited this restaurant it was well over four years ago...food was much better then. Booked a table for Saturday 18th Nov 23 for a birthday celebration for my family member. 4x adults and one five year old child. Food came out... so we started eating our meal, other fanily members advised immediately that the food was okay but nothing special, however my wife & i had actually found the lamb tough ( cubed) so was the chicken curry possibly been previous frozen produce. The lamb biryani was rather poor quality too, curry sauce was very bland and was tastless, hardly any lamb in the rice & no egg. On receiving our bill, the staff waiter gave us the bill & charged us £196 for the meal & drinks......my son rushed up as a surprise & paid the bill as a gift, however i finally got hold of the table bill to find that we had been over charged for 4 beers, a cheese nan bread and other items we did not even have. Our original empty glasses were still on the table to include our wine glasses and empty bottle. They also charged us over £17.80 service charge. On complaining to the staff, they did apologise stating there was a mix up with the drinks from another table that had left, a refund on my sons card for £18.70 was given, again mentioning other items not ordered on our bill, they again apologized again and had to refund food that we did not even order or recieve another refund of £17.00. Total £35.70 refunded. However, they did not even adjust & refund the diffrence service charge and yes...we have been overcharged. One thing that really annoys & grips me in life....prices & costs have gone up, yet quality standards hane gone right down and being over charged for food that we just did not enjoy. Good job i walked up to bar & paid sepetate for the second bottle of rose wine at £25 for the bottle, or i may have been overcharged for a couple more bottles than we did not drink. Would i go back to Ragdoot..." Unfortunately NO not this time," Do i think they knew that they overcharge, "Yes".

Couldn’t rate this place any higher if I tried. The service was faultless. The place was packed out, the man who served our table was incredibly efficient and got every single thing exactly right. The food was outstanding. I had the Rajdoot Special which was by far one of the best curries I’ve ever had

What a lovely place this is. Had the most amazing Butter Chicken curry here with Mushroom Pilau rice and Peshwari naan. Highly recommended to go here.

Very friendly and welcoming staff who looked after us incredibly well and the food was also extremely delicious

First takeaway 2022: The egg fried rice was really nice, the chicken tikka pieces had nice flavour but were a bit chewy, the garlic naan was nice and the butter chicken was very sweet. The service was good, food came pretty quickly. Won’t be rushing back there again as I’ve had much better Indians but was a nice meal. Second takeaway May 2023: had chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and tandoori fish which was all really nice and this is a perfectly acceptable Indian so I’m upping it to 4 stars. Still not the best Indian I’ve been to as it’s al quite sweet. Ordering online is also very easy.

There were loads of midges/fruit flies flying about. They moved us but it was no better. We stupidly stayed thinking the food would be worth the wait. It wasn't. Greasy, watery food. We both felt ill afterwards.

Extremely disappointing. We had a meal here on Saturday and both the food and service were awful. It took an hour and a half for our food to be served. Additionally, this has to be the worst Indian food that I have had, it had absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Sadly, there was no opportunity to raise this with the staff as they never checked to see if everything was okay. If you’re looking to treat yourself to an Indian, you’d be better off buying a ready meal than dining here.

This is Bangaladeshi restaurant trying to make North Indian food. Chef has much to learn. Balti is not Indian cusine.. Food served with lots of delay even when we were the only table occupied. Lots of improvement needed.

Had my first dine in Indian meal in years, and boy it did not disappoint . I had Bajas & Samosas to start & Dupizia for main both well cooked and not greasy, will definitely go again and would recommend, meal for 4 with drinks £111 good value. I appreciate this is controversial but they could stock one traditional bitter not everyone is a fan of lager.

Lovely meal new year's eve itemised bill correct £57 but charged £75 on machine which he cannot see without his specs no recourse as not open until 5pm and had to return home nyd!! As oap eating out is a rare treat and were overcharged £18 ? Left a bad taste in the mouth I'm afraid !!!

We went to Rajdoot for dinner. As a big curry fan I was excited to see what Rajdoot had to offer and after an incredibly long waiting time (an hour plus), we were finally served. We ordered Chicken makhni, pulao, paneer butter masala, Bhindi masala and garlic naan.The food when I came was exceptionally good, I had the chicken Makhani and the taste was rich and smooth the way I like it. However, the paneer butter masala gravy was quite sweet and the bhindi masala was lacking flavours too. The garlic naan bread was not the best I’ve had as it lacked some of the flavour. The staff were not particularly impressive and left much to be desired. I’ve come to expect but ultimately the meal was a good one and to be recommended provided you have the time to spend waiting to be served..

Had two delicious curries at Rajdoot. Great prices and best lamb I've had. Would happily recommend and return.

Great hospitality. Food was tasty and the spicy dishes were actually spicy. Many places we've been to have let us down in that sense. they were able to provide mango lassis despite not initially being on the menu too. 2 mains 1 side 2 rice 1 naan 2 lassis - £46.40 -- great value for money 100% will go again

Placed an order just before 2215 for food, and rejected my order at 2230, where no other restaurants take orders. Edit: tried a collection order again. Managed to get it this time, but the spicy Dalcha lamb was far from spicy, and less flavorful than one would expect!

I ordered takeaway. Chicken passanda was ok But the Sag Paneer was AWFUL...really bitter. Probably off. I threw it away.

The food was good but the staff Mr. Hassan is absolutely and horribly rude, unfriendly, arrogant. He picked up a fight with us customers and talks about challenging us. And he is quite illiterate about the portion of food. Also he is biased to Indians and Foreigners. If this restaurant goes down and earns bad review it will be only because of Mr. Hassan's attitude

Yummy curries. Good service in helping out with WiFi when we didn't have network to play something for kid. I give less rating as they insisted on ordering a main dish though we ordered multiple side dishes of our taste which could have added up the minimum expected amount. But again, excellent food.

I only leave good or bad reviews, this is 100% worthy of a good review, I had Chicken Vindaloo, mushroom rice, bombay potato and a keema nan. WOW what a awesome meal, so very very tasty. Trust me I'm a fussy individual and this hit the mark. Top food- Shame I live 120 miles away.

The restaurant was great, but if you're expecting the Indian spicy food you will not find the same Indian taste as India Try their non veg dishes it's their speciality and the veg options are also less.

The food might be good, but that’s no use if the ordering system rejects your takeaway order. Avoid the online order system.

Went into the Rajdoot yesterday evening I am sorry to say it isn't not as good as it used to be, staff could do with training no personality, will be trying somewhere else for a curry in Cirencester.

The food at this restaurant claims to be Indian, but it is by no means authentic. I ordered a vegetarian dish which had so much added sugar that it was impossible to eat. I telephoned the restaurant to give my feedback, but the person on the phone couldn’t even handle a negative feedback. Will never order from this place again.

I would say this is the finest Indian food I've tasted. Great quality ingredients, varied menu and dishes that are so well presented too. But it's the flavours that impress the most, making everything very moorish. The staff too are a great delight and you can see the owner takes pride in his business. A must go to place for all curry fans. You will be looking forward to your next visit.....

Terrible customer service. Their delivery driver sent my order to the wrong address and rather than offering a refund or replacement delivery, they offered 50% discount on collection. Sounds unbelievable but sadly very true. Avoid!

Terrible service. Do not recommend. Waiters throw the food on to the table instead serve. No customer care . No menu knowledge . Only one child chair for the whole restaurant. (my baby had to sit on an adult chair and he fell over)

Visited on a Friday at 6.20 pm, restaurant half full. Our food arrived 7.20pm as they'd had so many take-aways to process by which time the restaurant was full. Food was brilliant! Only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of the wait. Really wonderful meal, waiters friendly and professional. I'll visit next time in area.

Superb food and service. Could not fault. Only issue was quirky pink lights which made your meal look weird.

In Cirencester for staycation and visited the Rajdoot twice the staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious and satisfying. The environment was lovely and gorgeous. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal experience .

Very special place. Staff are super attentive. Food was absolutely excellent, a real treat for the tastebuds. Will be my new regular treat for me and my wife.

Tried to call - engaged. Ordered online, £126 for delivery. Got to the restaurant, clearly been shut for a while looking at the post on the floor. Beware - this restaurant is shut!

This was hands down the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had in my life. We occasionally enjoy an Indian takeaway as a treat and I can confirm this certainly was not. I think the chef’s tastebuds are defective and need to be returned to the factory. Staff however very friendly and was ready on time! Sadly we shall not be ordering again.

Good food with great atmosphere at rear price

Such a lovely place. The service is honestly what makes it!! They squeezed our large group in on a busy night and we really appreciated it. The dinner came with Christmas crackers, the staff was so attentive from starters to more drinks, etc. I’d highly recommend going with friends and family.

Delicious Indian meal On the recommendation of the waiter we ordered a lamb tikka chilli marsala which was fabulous - it had been spiced up to our taste and had a delicious smoky flavour. We also ordered a tandoori mixed platter, garlic naan and basmatic rice with vegetables. The meal was excellent and very reasonably priced.
