I ordered and they told me it was on the way I called up at 1:15 and they was closed and haven’t received my order even tho they got it wrong the first time very disappointed

The "fresh" fillet burger is NOT soo fresh and also was colddd... Wings NOT fresh... chewy..in line with wings being made a few hours ago.. chilli sauce was thin and tastless.. only thing that was nice was the mayo and those were the blue sachet mayos so ofcourse that was decent... WORST RAJAS EVER... and Rajas is normally NIIICEEEE.. what a let down!!

They want me fu ck again for 5 pc chicken and give a me order whit chips in one box but better they want me pay more when I said giveaway chicken separately and chips !!!. I swear to God that the food and service are extremely dirty. I called the store to place an order. I waited for more than an hour. It was crowded. The manager and another worker came from outside and went immediately to serve without even washing their hands. The dirtiest restaurant in Wakefield.

I have ordered from here many times now. Never had any issues, food always comes hot, and tasty. The phone handler is very nice and friendly (you don't get that in many places!) I cannot fault anything so thank you very much. I'd like to also add, I ordered this evening I accidentally paid the delivery driver a extra £10 without realising (on top of his tip), he called me and told me I had paid him £10 too much and came and gave me it back! How wonderfully honest of him. Thank you all very much! We will ordering often as usual guys. Keep up the good work, recognition where it's deserved 😊 Steph

First time trying Rajas and I was disappointed. The tall guy at the till with curly hair had the worst customer service skills ever. No manners at all. No please or thank you. Just rude. As I was stood waiting to order he had his earbuds in talking to his friend swearing in conversation. The place was so filthy , tables unclean. The owner needs to sort the staff out.

Lazy and not customer focused. They don’t even attend or welcome you at the counter and when they do attend they just ask for order and put the card machine near you, no smile. On many occasions, I have called them 15 mins before arriving to have an order ready for collection and on both occasions they had not even started preparing the order, the second time really annoyed me as they had no customers so there wasn’t even a reason for it not to be ready. On the other hand the other establishment I ordered from at the same had it ready and bagged and I even ordered more from there. Just goes to show. There’s chicken burgers are uncooked and chewy, eating a rubber band would be easier to swallow, I will never attend again

Nice food dont mess about really good

We were already sat in the restaurant when we read the reviews...We were served by a pleasant member of staff and the food came in a reasonable time. It was freshly cooked with both crunchy fries and chicken pieces that were hot and very tasty. £3.80 for each 2pc fries portion which were much larger than KFC. Absolutely enjoyed it and will definitely be calling here again.

Better than KFC imo..!.. they're so big you struggle to fit it in your mouth. Always delivered on time and hot... Their pizza's are really nice too... I would highly recommend anyone to go there.. . unreliable - had food before that was ok at best, ordered tonight on uber eats and cancelled our order at the last minute

small portions, the salad is only onion and lettuce, no tomato or cucumber, the meat is luncheon meat, when I ordered a kebab the second one was supposed to be free, ok it came free but without lettuce and no sauces, completely different than the first one and the second one was supposed to be the same, only delivery efficient, I do not recommend

I ordered pizza meal deal. Service was good. However, quality of food is not good. I got bad stomach ache after eating pizza. So I don't recommend for take away. I always order pizza from dominos but never had a tummy ache.

I came to talk about their attitude, and it seems others are having the same issues. The owner doesn't seem to care, or he is the type of owner who thinks his business will never be ruined by these reviews.

We as family always order food from Rajas wakefield. Their burgers and naan kabab are the best. Will try pizza next time. They are very professional and know their job well. Totally recommend 👌

The takeaway experience was an utter disappointment. The food arrived late, cold, and completely mangled, as if it had taken a detour through a blender before reaching my doorstep. The taste was reminiscent of cardboard seasoned with regret, leaving a lingering aftertaste of culinary despair. It's safe to say I won't be ordering from there again, unless I'm in dire need of a reminder of what not to eat. Customer service is like they giving you free food rude and unprofessional 👎👎

I had an appalling experience at this restaurant when I attempted to place a takeaway order today .The customer service was shockingly unprofessional, the staff member was unclean, disinterested and more focused on his phone than attending to customers. The lack of respect shown towards customers was utterly disappointing. The hygiene standards were questionable, with staff handling both food and money without care. This type of behavior is not only off-putting but also raises serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The blatant disregard for customers and basic hygiene practices is unacceptable. I strongly advise the management to reevaluate their staff training and prioritise customer satisfaction and hygiene standards. As a result of this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Ordered on ubereats due to being at pinderfields hospital. They accepted my order then 5 mins into decide to cancel it. Great service decided they couldn't be bothered. I'll be making sure to never spend a penny again with such useless and unprofessional people. The food is always a get by just edible nothing to write home about and now thr service is just as bad. Last time I went the ordered om the phone ended up spending 25 mins waiting for food on top of the 15 mins from ordering. Place has become a joke and really bad one at that.

Disappointed with the service and quality of food. Staff are quite discourteous. Ordered a zinger burger, and the burger fillet was cold inside. When I questioned it, they initially denied it, then put the same fillet in the frier again. I refused to eat it and walked out. The least they could have done is either offer a refund or do me a fresh one. Unacceptable!

Lousy, delivered later than promised, I had to phone deliveroo to get action. When food arrived it was awful, chicken was cool and batter was soggy. Donna meat was not nice, chips cool. Definitely not worth the money. Its definitely not a Rajas meal it's more like a peasants food bloody awful. So tonight I ordered from raja nor.ally get a nice delivery driver tonight the guy comes and gives me my food which was nice I can't complain. The food was good and gets a thumbs up but the service was terrible the delivery driver stands there with the change in his hands, counting it and counting it giving me 50p then passed me 2£ then gave me a bit of change and said there's not enough change that's OK though yeah and goes I agree at the door cause what else do you say I was shocked so I phone the restrau nt they tell me they'll speak to the driver then call me back I then get a call from the driver trying to say I agreed to it when clearly I had no choice he then says we'll od of gone shop and got change for you.well why didn't he in the first place and secondly why am I gonna mess about waiting for him to come back as I live in a high rise and they won't Co e in and uiu have to go down so I'd be wasting time and my food would be cold can't win just won't be ordering again from there such a shame

Food is acceptable most times.. but the customer service is arguably the worst in Wakefield. Please educate yourself on how to treat people who are spending money. I have mentioned this to the person working on counter too but sadly no changes.

Slowest delivery ever, called 3 times. Waiting over 2 hours and they hadn't even started making the food yet. Originally told me 45minute to 1 hour. I phoned 1 hour later and told me 20 minutes. Called a further 30 minutes later and said 8-9minutes. Ended up cancelling the ordering as my movie was about to finish. Nothing worse than going to sleep hungry.

Ordered the boneless box and was heavily disappointed, chicken burger tasted & looked frozen. It was haphazardly thrown together, did not match the description at all, did not come with lettuce or mayo. Plain & dry. Chicken strips were ok but obviously not fresh. It was supposed to come with 10 pieces of popcorn chicken, instead I was given 2 pieces popcorn chicken and 4 (again frozen) chicken nuggets. No communication at all about the substitution. Finally to top it off I ordered a 7up & it was again substituted with a cheap Bare lemonade with no communication about this. I would give this place 0 stars if possible, please do not go here.

I think Owner has invested a-lot in this place but the staff has a non serious attitude towards customers. There should be at least one senior professional person in the store at all times who knows about customer service.

My partner ordered spicy wings and they gave him non spicy immediately we noticed he return it back because I couldn’t eat it. Well, well. Nandos can kiss your feet!Me and my husband ordered a box each (protein box), and it was the best takeaway we had in such a long time! Chicken was so amazing, moist and cooked to perfection. If you’re a fan of spicy food definitely you must try this perri perri chicken! It’s better then Nando’s one! Decent donner meat, lovely shish kebab and crunchy but soft inside chips. Can’t recommend this place more. For us absolutely a bomb! Flavours was amazing. Salad was fresh and nicely diced. No bad ends just enjoyable to eat. For us definitely 5/5 👌
