Raja Takeaway in Barnsley

had this food for few years now never seem to disappoint. highly recommended and family friendly place never seem to disapoint keep up the good work guys!!!

Please use any other takeaway apart from this one. Greasy and tastes disgusting. Chicken tasted off. Think I'll inform the environmental health.

The worst curry we have ever had in our entire life. £47 of disgusting greasy cheap quality food went in the bin. DO NOT EAT THIS FOOD ITS WORSE THAN VILE.

Ordered a chicken korma with pilau rice. Started eating it and couldn’t eat the rice it tasted they had dropped a full pot of cinnamon in. Looked like brown rice covered in cinnamon. Curry was salty. Onion bhajis was dry and no taste to them at all. Must say the naan bread was nice. Brothers rogan josh had no taste to it at all. That was £54 down drain 5 meals thrown in bin. Will not recommend this to anyone at all. Worst Indian takeaway ever

Nos dieron una comida para llevar desde aquí en comer solo, bajo su nuevo nombre Naseeb, aunque el menú para llevar que te dan tiene Raja. Toda la comida era absolutamente repugnante y me tiró todo a la basura. La peor comida para llevar que he tenido. Evitar! !

Absolutly rubbish ive no idea how theyve just had the cheek to charge me 12 quid for reheated rice that was like bullets and has never seen pilau, a supposed chefs special chicken balti reheated dry hard chicken in a sauce full of jalpenos... and rock hard chipatis that resembled frisbys! Do not order unless ya want a donner kebab they dont make them so cnt ruin em a disgrace to apna cuisine

I ordered a curry takeaway from raja it was absolutely disgusting we ate 3 mouthfuls and threw the rest away I ordered a king prawn sag which had 6 small shrimps no king prawns and the rest was spinach, The okra and potato dish had 3 tiny pieces of chopped potato and was full of I don't no what. The pilau rice was plain boiled rice and the naan bread was heavy thick and soggy. my friend had a meat curry with 3 tiny pieces of meat the curry was very salty and tasteless this meal was the worst takeaway I have EVER bought in my life. I paid £29.00 for a lot of rubbish. I most certainly will NEVER go there again and I strongly advise anyone to stay clear

Whenever we have an indian we always have it from the Raja on summer lane in Barnsley, it is usually always very nice and I have been going their for over 10 years. I am having one delivered tonight I hope it lives up to my review now I have taken the time to recommend them. Usually excellent and can highly recommend. I always go for the chicken korma very creamy and tasty.

On Tuesday I had a take away from this place. It was absolutely disgusting, The chicken was tough and tasted like it was frozen out of a bag and just added to the sauce. The sauce was very runny and the sheikh and seash kebabs were full of gristle, the side salad was well dead and hot. The tandoori roti bread was ok, I had them with some soup from home. It is my own fault as I was to lazy to go out and get something, or cook. Meals in the past have been rough but edible after a drink or 10.I had chicken buna or thats what I ordered. Note / Text to self, NO NO NO NO NO !!!!! not again. I have to say the staff are very friendly and delivery fast. Pick ups abit slow but service ok. Value has to be terrible as I couldn't eat what I got
