Raja Indian Cuisine in Barnsley

Was passing through Barnsley for a work meeting, a colleague recommended Raja’s for dinner - best decision I could have made hands down. I’m veggie so I asked for something nutritional and filling. The gentleman names Cassie made me a Dahl with mushroom rice - to this day I am craving that meal 😮 just like Arnold said…. I’ll be back 😍

Had a kebab roll was huge and the cheesy chips was spot on had a nice biscoff milkshake to wash it down thank you guys will be back

Best in the game the food is to die for never knew there was a takeaway this good In Barnsley. They never seem to disappoint

I have never had no issues before for quite a few years , but I asked several times to make my chicken saag very mild and it wasn’t done, I usually enjoy the saag from here , but I won’t be ordering again because the person on phone didn’t really want to hear what I said apart from making sure he had a order wrote down and not bothered about the extras I had asked for

Delivery took 2 hours. Phoned up to be told they had been busy and not updated the delivery time on the app. Food cold, rice and naan bread greasy. Chips not edible. Will not order again. Don’t waste your money.

Ordered in store, took 30 mins to prepare a simple Kabab roll, I could here them taking calls for delivering and pick up. Also calls about complains, The manager was aragent, basic said I was wrong, refused to check my invoice, They were belated in lies to other costumes saying orders had left, then telling saff to MOVE it, Food was nice however considering I waited 30 minutes it should have been hot, To be honest, over the past 2 to 3 years it's been same, same Guy, sack him

Very poor food with no sauce and cold food. Got popadom with no sauce. Like who serves a popadom and does not give sauce. Look at my popadom.

2hrs late still waing for the taste to arrive. butter chicken tastes like egg custard. Arrives unnaturally hot (microwaved). Binned.

Still waiting for our food - (3 kebabs!!!!!) delivered 2 & half hours late COLD - was told they were busy We ordered at 5.40pm - 10 minutes after opening - we sent back with the driver & was told 30 mins - still sat waiting 45 minutes later & still nothing (8.30pm) still no sign !!! Usual really reliable but this is absolutely ridiculous !!!!

Ordered a takeaway from here via Just Eat. The food that was delivered was inedible & was thrown in the bin. The worst Indian takeaway, I have ever not eaten. Avoid!

This is my local Indian takeaway and I continue to go as I've been unable to find anything better for the price in the area. There seems so be a few bad reviews in here but I can't remember having anything terrible from here in over 10 years. I can recommend the chicken massalla and their cheesy chips. They also cater for vegetarians.

Hi again. I take back what I said about the raja in a past review, the last 3 chicken kormas I had were terrible, very bland, runny and pale with hardly any chicken in, whats gone wrong guys I have been eating here since my late teens I am now 37 but something has changed, I emailed raja to ask about any changes but not even a reply. I will be taking my business elsewhere can anyone recommend anywhere was thinking of trying Mogul room in worsbrough. Very disappointed that things have gone wrong at the Raja, shame...
